Zoutons Picks — Myntra, August 2026

Myntra's own sunglasses listings, read on 20 August. Forty-seven listings share twenty-one stated MRPs between them.

Prices & codes last verified August 20, 2026

We read 47 Myntra sunglasses listings on 20 August 2026 and seated 22 selling under Rs. 1,000, from Rs. 303 to Rs. 992. The badge on this shelf measures the MRP field, not the price: six HAYDEN haiza pairs sell within Rs. 79 of each other and carry discounts from 21 to 85 per cent, because the brand has typed seven different list prices for them. Two pairs at exactly Rs. 316 are badged 84 and 21 per cent. The numbers worth acting on are the rating counts, and they point at Rs. 499 and Rs. 599.

Every price below was pulled from Myntra on August 20, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

“Six pairs from one brand, seventy-nine rupees apart, and seven different stated MRPs between them.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Four rules for buying cheap sunglasses online

First: read the rupee price and ignore the badge, because on this shelf the badge is set by whichever MRP the seller typed - two pairs at Rs. 316 carry claims of 84 and 21 per cent off. Second: read the rating count, not just the average, because a 4.4 from thirteen people and a 4.3 from 3,600 are not the same statement. Third: know that UV protection and polarisation are different things - every listing here claims the first and exactly one claims the second. Fourth: check the live coupon page before checkout, the same discipline we applied to Myntra watch prices, because a platform coupon on a Rs. 400 order is a larger proportional saving than anything the badge is claiming.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: everything above Rs. 1,000, which in this read means three listings - two H&M pairs at Rs. 1,199 and Rs. 1,499 and a WROGN square at Rs. 1,403 - all outside the band this page is built on. Within the band we dropped listings whose photographs duplicate a seated pick, several near-identical colourways of pairs already seated, and four listings whose only product image is a model wearing the frames at a distance that makes the frame itself hard to judge. We also left out three listings with no rating and no rating count where a better-evidenced pair existed at the same price - though we seated one unrated listing, the SPADEACES white square at Rs. 335, and labelled it as unrated rather than pretending otherwise. Nothing was dropped for a poor rating: the Jiebo aviator at 2.9 is seated precisely because it is the only negative verdict on the shelf.

What we look for

We print the rating count beside every pick, because the averages here rest on wildly different crowds

On this shelf the same 4.4 average can come from thirteen people or from three thousand six hundred. The DressBerry X fwd round at Rs. 499 has been rated by 3,600 buyers and Hashtag Eyewear's oversized pair at Rs. 599 by 2,650; the SALTY curve at Rs. 717 has been rated by ten and the SPADEACES round at Rs. 992 by five. We show a rating pill only where at least fifty people have rated a listing, and we print the raw count on every card so you can see how much weight the average carries. Where Myntra publishes no rating at all, as on one seated listing here, we say so on the card rather than leaving a blank.

We treat the discount badge as a claim about the MRP field, not about the price

Forty-seven listings in this read share just 21 distinct stated MRPs, and Rs. 1,999 alone appears on twelve of them. The clearest case is HAYDEN haiza: six pairs selling between Rs. 316 and Rs. 395 - a Rs. 79 spread - carrying badges of 21, 29, 37, 43, 63, 84 and 85 per cent, because the same brand has stated list prices of Rs. 399, 449, 599, 699, 999, 1,999 and 2,499. Nothing about the products differs to that degree. We therefore lead every pick with the rupee price, report the badge as what the listing states, and say plainly where two near-identical pairs carry badges 55 points apart.

We separate UV protection from polarisation, because only one pair here has both

Every listing on this page claims UV-protected lenses, and that claim is a coating rather than a lens type. Polarisation is a different thing: it cuts glare reflected off roads, water and glass, and it is what makes a difference when driving or riding. Exactly one listing in our read of 47 says polarised - the Vincent Chase by Lenskart at Rs. 849 - and we have said so on its card and nowhere else. We have not tested any lens on this page for either property; we report what the listing states, and note where a coloured lens is being presented as if it were a functional feature when it is a styling one.

We name Myntra's own labels, because the retailer sets both sides of their badge

Three of the 22 seated listings are Myntra house labels - DressBerry, DressBerry X fwd and Mast & Harbour X fwd - and WROGN sells through the platform as a house-adjacent brand. For those, the stated MRP and the selling price are decided by the same business, which makes the percentage between them a pricing decision rather than a saving against anyone else's price. We have said so on each card. It is not an argument against buying them: the most-rated pair in this whole read, at 3,600 ratings, is a DressBerry X fwd listing.

FAQs

Which sunglasses under Rs. 1,000 are actually worth buying on Myntra?

On weight of evidence rather than badge size, three listings stand out from this read. The Hashtag Eyewear oversized pair at Rs. 599 has the highest average on the page, 4.55, and the second-largest crowd behind it at 2,650 ratings - a rare combination, since most high averages here rest on a few hundred people. The DressBerry X fwd round at Rs. 499 has been rated by 3,600 buyers at 4.3, which is more than double any other listing in the read and makes it the safest purchase on the page purely on how many people have tested it. If you drive or ride, the Vincent Chase by Lenskart at Rs. 849 is the only polarised pair in 47 listings, and 1,567 buyers rated it 4.5. At the bottom of the shelf, the Funglasses rectangle at Rs. 304 carries 1,311 ratings at 4.4, which is unusually deep evidence for a pair costing three hundred rupees.

Why do two Myntra sunglasses at the same price show completely different discounts?

Because the discount percentage is calculated against the MRP the seller states, and sellers on this shelf state very different MRPs for near-identical products. The clearest case in this read: a HAYDEN haiza cateye and a KRILLEN SHADES cateye both sell at exactly Rs. 316, but the first is badged 84 per cent off because it states an MRP of Rs. 1,999, and the second is badged 21 per cent off because it states Rs. 399. You pay the same money either way. The pattern runs right through the brand - HAYDEN's six seated pairs sell between Rs. 316 and Rs. 395 and state list prices of Rs. 399, 449, 599, 699, 999, 1,999 and 2,499, producing badges from 21 to 85 per cent. Across all 47 listings we read there are only 21 distinct MRPs, and Rs. 1,999 appears twelve times. Read the rupee price; the badge is telling you about a field in the listing.

Are UV-protected sunglasses the same as polarised sunglasses?

No, and on this page the distinction matters because only one listing offers the second. UV protection is a coating that blocks ultraviolet light and protects your eyes - every one of the 47 listings in this read claims it. Polarisation is a filter built into the lens that cuts glare reflected off flat surfaces: wet roads, water, car bonnets, glass. It is the feature that makes a real difference when driving or riding, and it does nothing extra for UV. Exactly one pair in our read says polarised: the Vincent Chase by Lenskart at Rs. 849, rated 4.5 by 1,567 buyers. A coloured or mirrored lens is not polarisation either - the blue lens on the Mast & Harbour X fwd aviator at Rs. 451 is a styling choice. We report these claims as the listings state them; we have not tested any pair.

Is it worth spending more than Rs. 500 on sunglasses at Myntra?

It buys you two things on this shelf, and neither is a bigger discount. The first is a deeper record: above Rs. 499 you reach the listings with thousands of ratings behind them - 3,600 on the DressBerry X fwd round, 2,650 on the Hashtag Eyewear oversized at 4.55, 1,567 on the Vincent Chase at 4.5. The second is specification. The only polarised lens in 47 listings costs Rs. 849, and the only pair from a brand with physical stores and a returns counter behind it, H&M at Rs. 899, states an MRP of Rs. 1,299 that it actually charges. What more money does not buy is a better badge: the H&M pair claims 31 per cent off and the SPADEACES round at Rs. 992 claims one per cent, while pairs at a third of the price claim 85.

Do Myntra coupons work on sunglasses and accessories?

Usually, and on an order of a few hundred rupees a platform coupon is a larger proportional saving than anything the discount badge is claiming. Myntra runs coupon codes tied to order value, first orders and specific payment methods, and they are applied at checkout on top of the listed price rather than being built into it. We did not test any code at checkout for this page and will not quote a saving we have not seen applied. What this read gives you is the baseline to beat on 20 August 2026: Rs. 303 for the cheapest pair on the shelf, Rs. 304 for the best-evidenced pair under Rs. 350 at 1,311 ratings, Rs. 499 for the most-rated listing in the read, Rs. 599 for the highest average, and Rs. 849 for the only polarised lens in 47 listings. Note also that several accessories listings carry minimum-order thresholds on coupons, so a single Rs. 303 pair may not clear them.

More Myntra coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every price, stated MRP, discount percentage, rating and rating count here was read on 20 August 2026 from myntra.com's own listing data across four sunglasses listing pages. Forty-seven listings came back carrying both a price and an MRP; 22 are seated. Myntra prices change frequently and a listing's price can differ once a platform coupon or card offer is applied at checkout - re-check before paying. An MRP is the figure the listing states and we have not verified that any pair here was ever sold at it; across this read 47 listings share only 21 distinct stated MRPs, and where one seller states several different list prices for near-identical products we have said so. Three seated listings are Myntra's own labels, for which the platform sets both the stated MRP and the price. Lens claims - UV protection, polarisation, lens colour - are quoted from the listings themselves and are reported rather than verified; we have not tested any pair on this page for UV transmission, optical quality or build. Ratings and rating counts are Myntra's own.
