Four rules for buying deodorant on Myntra
First: read the millilitres before the price. Cans here run from 50 ml to 230 ml and a Rs. 42 can is dearer per spray than a Rs. 148 one. Second: divide. The rates run from Rs. 65.78 to Rs. 998.00 per 100 ml across this shelf, a 15.2x spread, and the order is nothing like the order of the price tags. Third: ignore the badge, because on this shelf it runs backwards - the deepest discounts, 50 to 55 per cent, sit on the cheapest rates at the top of this page, while the Park Avenue Signature can at Rs. 299 and the LAYER'R mists at Rs. 255 discount nothing at all and cost twice as much per millilitre. Fourth: check what a 'set' actually contains. Eight listings in our read state the volume of one bottle in a multi-bottle pack, which makes any unit-price arithmetic on them four times too high or three times too low depending on which way you read it.

Every selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, rating average and rating count on this page was read on 22 September 2026 from myntra.com's own listing payload for its deodorant and body-mist pages, logged out, in India. 64 listings returned a price, an MRP, a rating and a rating count; nothing was bought.
Volume read from the listing title
Every seated listing prints its volume in millilitres in its own title, and those volumes run from 50 ml to 230 ml. Because a Rs. 42 can and a Rs. 148 can can hold 50 ml and 225 ml, the sticker prices are not comparable, so every card states the price per 100 ml - our own arithmetic over the price and the volume the listing states, not a measured quantity.
Multi-bottle sets excluded
Nine listings describe a set, pack or mega pack. Eight of them are genuine multi-bottle sets that state the volume of ONE bottle - Carlton London's four-mist gift set prints '50 ml Each' at Rs. 596 - so a naive per-100 ml figure would be four times too high. All eight are excluded from every figure on this page. Park Avenue's 'Mega Pack' is a single 190 ml can and is seated.
Deodorant and body mist kept distinct
These are different products sold on one search page. Every rate under Rs. 110 per 100 ml in this read is a men's deodorant or body spray; every body mist sits above Rs. 180. Mists are lighter formulations intended for reapplication, so the gap is not a like-for-like premium and we do not present it as one.
Rating counts reported per listing
Myntra does not appear to pool feedback across variants the way other marketplaces do. Six LAYER'R WOTTAGIRL listings at the identical Rs. 255 for 135 ml carry six different counts - 28, 43, 47, 55, 158 and 1,045 - and four EM5 listings at the identical Rs. 299 for 50 ml carry 41, 72, 124 and 180. The volumes are printed in the listing titles, so nothing is concealed; it is simply that a 50 ml can and a 225 ml can photograph at the same size in a search grid.
Are Myntra's deodorant discounts real?
The badges are arithmetic over a price and a stated MRP, and on this shelf they run in the opposite direction to value. The deepest badges - 50 to 55 per cent on Wild Stone, Denver and Park Avenue - sit on the cheapest rates per 100 ml, while the listings that discount least are among the dearest per millilitre: Park Avenue's Signature Neo is 0 per cent off at Rs. 157.37 per 100 ml and Denver's Nano is 1 per cent off at Rs. 178.00. We have not verified that any product sold at its stated MRP. Stating a high MRP is legal and commonplace in Indian retail and nothing improper is alleged.
Is body mist cheaper than deodorant?
No - on Myntra it is substantially dearer per millilitre, and it is also a different product. In this read every rate under Rs. 110 per 100 ml is a men's deodorant or body spray, and every body mist sits above Rs. 180. The cheapest mist, Bella Vita Organic's 150 ml at Rs. 275, is Rs. 183.33 per 100 ml - 2.8 times the cheapest deodorant rate - and small mist bottles reach Rs. 598.00 and Rs. 998.00 per 100 ml. Why do identical Myntra listings show different rating counts?
Because Myntra appears not to pool feedback across variants the way some other marketplaces do. Six LAYER'R WOTTAGIRL listings in our read sell at exactly Rs. 255 for 135 ml with a 0 per cent badge, and carry six different rating counts: 28, 43, 47, 55, 158 and 1,045. Four EM5 mists at the identical Rs. 299 for 50 ml carry 41, 72, 124 and 180. That is good news for reading the numbers - a count is feedback on that fragrance rather than on the range - but it also means a variant you like may have almost no sample behind it while its twin has a thousand.
