Flipkart Sanitary Pad Price Per Pad September 2026: Rs. 3.12 Up

We pulled Flipkart's results for "sanitary pads", "menstrual cup" and "panty liner" on 25 September 2026 and divided every price by the number of pieces the listing itself states. Of 177 distinct listings, 99 print a count we could read without guessing. Across those 99 a single piece costs between Rs. 1.63 and Rs. 42.30.

Split by what the thing actually is, the picture is tighter and more useful. Sanitary pads run from Rs. 3.12 to Rs. 19.90 a pad, with a median of Rs. 5.20. Panty liners run from Rs. 1.63 to Rs. 42.30, with a median of Rs. 2.78. The cheap end of the pad shelf is 80-piece jumbo packs at Rs. 250 to Rs. 277; the dear end is 10 and 15-piece packs from the organic and biodegradable labels.

Nothing on the search page shows you this number. Two listings sitting side by side at Rs. 271 and Rs. 199 are Rs. 3.39 and Rs. 4.97 a pad respectively - the cheaper-looking ticket is the dearer pad - because one holds 80 pieces and the other 40. The pack price and the piece price disagree far more often than they agree on this shelf.

Sort the 50 pad listings by whether the brand is a name most shoppers could recall and the discount badge splits almost perfectly - in the direction people do not expect. The 27 listings from familiar names carry a median badge of 40% off and cost a median Rs. 6.39 a pad. The 23 from labels that are not household names carry a median badge of 65% off and cost Rs. 3.95.

On this shelf, then, the big badge is broadly telling the truth about the rate - which is the opposite of what we have found on apparel, where an inflated stated MRP does the work. The single largest badge among the pads is 81% off, on a Rs. 194 40-pack that works out at Rs. 4.85 a pad - below the Rs. 5.20 median. The single smallest is 0% off, on Whisper Choice Nights at Rs. 480 for 40 pads, which is Rs. 12.00 a pad and the third-dearest rate on the shelf.

What the badge does not tell you is anything about the product. The dear end of the pad shelf is almost entirely organic-cotton and biodegradable listings in small packs: Pee Safe's 10-pack at Rs. 19.90 a pad, Anandi's 10-pack at Rs. 15.20, Carmesi's 10-pack at Rs. 13.70. Whether what is inside those packs justifies four times the rate is not a question a price page can answer, and we do not try to.

The single largest block of listings in this read is not a big brand. Twenty-nine of the 177 listings are Cailin Care pantyliners, and with two exceptions they describe the same thing: a 155mm ultra-thin liner in a pack of 50, at Rs. 136 or Rs. 139, against a stated MRP of Rs. 399.

DailyCleanCare Fit. Protective Fit. DailyFit. DailySecure. DailyMenstrualCare. The stated size, pack count and price are the same across the group; the product name is not.

Twenty-seven of the 29 publish no rating at all, and the two that do carry the same figure - 4.1 from 792 - on two differently-named listings. That is worth knowing for a practical reason: if you filter this shelf by rating count you will not see any of them, and if you filter by price you will see fifteen results that are, as far as their own descriptions go, one product.

Fifty-eight of the 177 listings are reusable menstrual cups, priced from Rs. 132 to Rs. 783 with a median of Rs. 239. Cups are sold one to a box, so there is no per-piece arithmetic to do - but there is something else.

Pee Safe lists its small, medium and large cups at an identical Rs. 265, and all three carry one shared rating count: 4.3 from 35,392. SIRONA lists its small, medium and large at an identical Rs. 296, and all three carry different counts - 93,745, 46,731 and 44,935. Same shelf, same week, opposite behaviour. Which means a rating count on this shelf may describe one size or a whole family, and nothing on the tile tells you which.

FLORENZE goes further. Six separate listings for a single cup, at five different prices - Rs. 137, Rs. 141, Rs. 141, Rs. 143, Rs. 194 and Rs. 199 - against two different stated MRPs, Rs. 499 and Rs. 798, for descriptions that read identically apart from the size word. DAYNACARE lists its large cup at Rs. 323 with a 19% badge and at Rs. 355 with a 29% badge: the dearer listing wears the bigger discount, and neither publishes a rating.

A rate says nothing about the things that actually separate these products: length, absorbency, top-sheet material, what the core is made of, and whether a pack of ten lasts you as long as a pack of forty. A Rs. 3.12 jumbo pad and a Rs. 19.90 organic-cotton pad are not the same object, and this page does not claim they are. What it claims is narrower: within one shelf, on one day, the piece price is a number you can check and the tile does not show it.
