One hundred and fifty-six monitors read on 29 September. Seven of them cost exactly the same and are advertised fifty-three points apart.
A monitor is shopped on two numbers - the diagonal and the discount - and on this shelf neither one works. We read 156 Flipkart listings on 29 September 2026. Seven of them charge exactly Rs. 9,999 and carry badges of 70%, 69%, 50%, 45%, 44%, 29% and 17%. Seventy of the 154 we could size are 27-inch, and those seventy run from Rs. 5,364 to Rs. 82,599. The only number that separates these listings is the one you actually pay.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on September 29, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Seven monitors in this read charge exactly Rs. 9,999 - the shelf's median price - and Flipkart badges them 70%, 69%, 50%, 45%, 44%, 29% and 17%. All seven are here, followed by two of the four listings that do the same thing at Rs. 10,999.
One of seven monitors in this read priced at exactly Rs. 9,999.
Why it earned its spot The top of the Rs. 9,999 pile.
Same price, a different screen size, and effectively the same flash.
Why it earned its spot Same price, smaller screen, same noise.
The same Rs. 9,999, with more published ratings than the other six combined.
Why it earned its spot Same money, most feedback.
Fourth of the seven, and squarely mid-table on the badge.
Why it earned its spot The middle of the seven.
Fifth of the seven, from a major brand, with nothing behind the number.
Why it earned its spot A big name, no evidence.
Sixth of the seven, and the badge is now less than half the top of the group.
Why it earned its spot Same money, forty-one points quieter.
The seventh and last at this price, at a quarter of the group's biggest flash.
Why it earned its spot The floor of the badge range.
Four listings sit at Rs. 10,999 too, and this is the loudest of them.
Why it earned its spot It is not a one-off.
Forty-seven points below its price-mate, and the thinnest evidence on this page.
Why it earned its spot The other end of Rs. 10,999.
Priced per inch the shelf runs Rs. 132 to Rs. 3,059 against a Rs. 379 median, and the bottom of it is where the bigger monitor is often the cheaper one per inch. It is also where the read's largest rating count turns out to cover three different screens.
The floor of the shelf, and its rating count belongs to three different monitors.
Why it earned its spot The floor, and a pooled count.
The second listing sharing the read's largest rating count.
Why it earned its spot A pooled count, card two of three.
Three inches more diagonal than the floor of the shelf, for Rs. 800.
Why it earned its spot Better arithmetic than the floor.
Under Rs. 4,000 with a four-figure rating count that is its own.
Why it earned its spot Evidence at the cheap end.
Seventy listings here are 27-inch. This is the bottom of that range.
Why it earned its spot The floor of the 27-inch shelf.
One of the largest crowds on the shelf, behind one of the largest badges.
Why it earned its spot The exception that is worth naming.
A recognisable PC name at a rate close to the shelf median.
Why it earned its spot The house-brand median, illustrated.
The largest unshared crowd on any 27-inch monitor in the read.
Why it earned its spot The best-evidenced 27-inch here.
A big crowd and a small flash, but the count covers two different screen sizes.
Why it earned its spot A pool across two sizes.
At the top of the shelf the same trick reappears - two 27-inch monitors within Rs. 501 of each other showing 22% and 65% - and the rate climbs to twenty-three times the floor. Two listings state sizes that cannot be read at all.
Above the median rate, with a small badge and 1,498 ratings.
Why it earned its spot Paying for the panel, not the badge.
Roughly the same money as the card above, with three times the percentage.
Why it earned its spot Same money, triple the noise.
Forty-nine inches of curved OLED, and not the highest rate per inch here.
Why it earned its spot The dearest ticket.
The same diagonal as the Rs. 5,364 monitor at the top of Chapter Two.
Why it earned its spot The ceiling, and the whole argument.
Two contradictory sizes in one title, and neither matches the listing's own image.
Why it earned its spot A data fault, named.
A typo rather than a contradiction, but it still breaks the size filter.
Why it earned its spot The milder of the two.
First: filter by price, then read the titles. Seven monitors here sit at exactly Rs. 9,999 with badges 53 points apart, and four more do the same at Rs. 10,999 - sorting by discount simply reorders the sellers' MRP claims. Second: do not treat the diagonal as a shortlist. 70 of the 154 sizeable listings in this read are 27-inch and they span Rs. 5,364 to Rs. 82,599; what separates them is panel type, resolution and refresh rate, all of which are printed on the tile and none of which we have tested. Third: check who the rating count belongs to, and to how many sizes. On this shelf one Samsung count of 5,321 covers a 22-inch, a second 22-inch, a 24-inch and a 27-inch, and a BenQ count of 5,103 covers four sizes - a pooled count spanning different screens is close to useless for choosing between them. Fourth: read the size string itself. One listing here states "138.68 cm (55 cm)", two figures that contradict each other, on a monitor whose own photograph says 22 inch.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average, rating count and size string on this page was read on 29 September 2026 from flipkart.com's own search results for "monitor", "gaming monitor", "27 inch monitor" and "led monitor", two pages each, server-side, logged out, in India, with listing keys deduped. 156 distinct listings, Rs. 2,499 to Rs. 86,599. Nothing was bought.
Every 'per inch' figure divides the live selling price by the inch value the listing itself prints in its title. We did not measure any screen. Two of the 156 listings do not state a readable inch value and are excluded from the Rs. 132 to Rs. 3,059 range, the Rs. 379 median and every other per-inch figure here; both are seated in Chapter Three so you can see what they say.
The seven listings at Rs. 9,999 and the four at Rs. 10,999 are listings at those exact rupee figures, not bands. Their badges - 70%, 69%, 50%, 45%, 44%, 29%, 17% and 62%, 48%, 44%, 15% - are the percentages Flipkart displayed on 29 September 2026. We seated all seven of the first group and two of the second.
Flipkart pools reviews across linked listings, and on this shelf a pool can span different screen sizes: one count of 5,321 covers a 22-inch, a second 22-inch, a 24-inch and a 27-inch; one of 5,103 covers four sizes; the read's largest, 11,439, covers two 19-inch monitors and a 22-inch. Where a seated card's count is shared we say so and name what it is shared with.
This page reads prices, stated sizes, MRPs, badges, star averages and rating counts. Nothing was bought, plugged in or switched on. Refresh rates, response times, panel types, resolutions, brightness in nits, colour-gamut coverage and adaptive-sync support are the listings' own printed claims, reproduced as printed and not measured or verified by us.
Because the percentage is calculated from the MRP each seller states, not from anything you pay. In our 29 September 2026 read, seven monitors priced at exactly Rs. 9,999 showed badges of 70%, 69%, 50%, 45%, 44%, 29% and 17% - their stated MRPs ran from Rs. 32,999 down to Rs. 11,999. Four listings at Rs. 10,999 showed 62%, 48%, 44% and 15%. A high stated MRP is legal and commonplace in Indian retail and we allege no wrongdoing by Flipkart or any seller; the practical point is that a discount-sorted search page is ordering sellers' claims rather than offers.
In this read the 27-inch listings - 70 of the 154 we could size - ran from Rs. 5,364 to Rs. 82,599, with a median of Rs. 11,699 and a median badge of 38%. Twenty-two of those 70 sat between Rs. 9,399 and Rs. 10,999, so that band is where the shelf is thickest. Below roughly Rs. 10,000 you are generally looking at Full HD VA and IPS panels; above Rs. 12,000 the listings start claiming Quad HD, and the two dearest are 4K and OLED.
Across the 154 listings we could size, the rate ran Rs. 132 to Rs. 3,059 an inch, with a median of Rs. 379. Under about Rs. 200 an inch you are in 19- and 22-inch HD territory; the Rs. 250 to Rs. 400 band holds most of the mainstream Full HD monitors including the best-evidenced 27-inch in the read at Rs. 283 an inch; above Rs. 550 you are paying for claimed resolution and refresh rate. One caution: at the bottom of this shelf the bigger monitor is often the cheaper one per inch, so calculate rather than assume.
Because Flipkart pools reviews across linked listings, and on this shelf those links cross screen sizes. In our read one Samsung rating count of 5,321 appeared on a 22-inch, a second 22-inch, a 24-inch and a 27-inch; a BenQ count of 5,103 appeared on four listings spanning 22, 24 and 27 inches; and the largest count on the shelf, 11,439, covered two 19-inch monitors and a 22-inch. When a count spans sizes it cannot help you choose between them. The largest count we found attached to a single 27-inch listing was 6,233.
In this read, a 19-inch HD panel at Rs. 2,499, which was also the cheapest per inch at Rs. 131.53. Its 11,439 ratings are the largest count on the shelf but are shared with two other listings. If you want the cheapest with feedback of its own, a 22-inch at Rs. 3,639 carried 3,022 ratings at 3.9 that appear on no other listing. And note the inversion at this end: a 22-inch at Rs. 3,299 works out cheaper per inch than a 19-inch at Rs. 2,894.
