A hundred and sixty-nine listings read on the morning Big Billion Days opened to everyone. The wattage printed on the tile turns out to be the one number that tells you nothing about the price.
Big Billion Days opened to everyone on 9 October, so we read Flipkart's food processor shelf that morning: 169 listings, Rs. 63 to Rs. 29,959, median Rs. 478. Most shoppers sort a shelf like this by wattage. On this one, wattage is noise. Eight tiles state 700 W and every one sells between Rs. 873 and Rs. 984. Seven state 750 W and they start at Rs. 5,057. Fifty more claimed watts, five to ten times the money. Per stated watt the shelf spans Rs. 0.30 to Rs. 99.47 — so the number on the tile is not what you are buying.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on October 9, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Four hand-pull choppers with no motor at all, which is what the cheap end of a 'food processor' search is made of — and where the largest rating pools on the whole shelf happen to live.
A 450 ml hand-pull dori chopper at Rs. 63 against a stated Rs. 799.
Why it earned its spot No motor, no plug, and it still answers to 'food processor'.
A Flipkart SmartBuy mini hand-pull chopper at Rs. 73.
Why it earned its spot Flipkart's own label, ten rupees dearer, with a real rating pool behind it.
A DDecora 1000 ml hand-pull chopper with a six-blade assembly at Rs. 91.
Why it earned its spot Nearly half a million raters at ninety-one rupees.
A Flipkart SmartBuy 1000 ml round dori chopper at Rs. 124.
Why it earned its spot A bigger bowl from the same house label at Rs. 51 more.
The five seated listings from the 700 W block, which runs Rs. 873 to Rs. 984 across eight tiles — including three VERIXO model numbers sharing one stated MRP and two listings with no rating at all.
A TRIVYOM 700 W electric food chopper at Rs. 873.
Why it earned its spot Seven hundred stated watts for under nine hundred rupees.
A parspar 700 W electric meat and vegetable grinder at Rs. 873.
Why it earned its spot Same price, same stated wattage, a Rs. 200 difference in stated MRP.
A VERIXO FP-36, stated 700 W, at Rs. 898.
Why it earned its spot A listing that calls itself a food processor, with no rating at all.
A VERIXO FP-35, stated 700 W, at Rs. 908.
Why it earned its spot The FP-36's sibling: one model number apart, ten rupees apart, same badge.
A BIYALI 700 W stainless steel electric chopper at Rs. 984.
Why it earned its spot The dearest of the eight 700 W listings, and still under a thousand rupees.
Stick blenders and a baby food maker at Rs. 1,622 to Rs. 4,888, where one stated wattage already spans a seventeen-fold price range.
An AGARO Regency 600 W hand blender with chopper at Rs. 1,622.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 2.70 a stated watt, and the first shallow badge on the page.
An AGARO Grand 1000 W hand blender with chopper, jar and whisk at Rs. 2,496.
Why it earned its spot A thousand stated watts at a quarter of what the 1,000 W processors cost.
A FLOVTRIX 600 W baby food blender and steamer at Rs. 4,888.
Why it earned its spot Three times the AGARO price for the same stated 600 watts.
The 750 W and 1,000 W branded block, Rs. 5,057 to Rs. 10,499 — one Bajaj model listed four times at four prices, one Preethi rating pool serving three, and the oil press the query mistakes for a food processor.
A Preethi Galaxy Plus MG 250 juicer mixer grinder, 750 W, four jars, at Rs. 5,057.
Why it earned its spot Fifty watts more than the Rs. 873 block, and 5.8 times the money.
A Preethi Zodiac Glitter MG 264, 750 W, five jars, at Rs. 6,499.
Why it earned its spot Three Zodiac listings, three prices, one rating pool.
A Bajaj Fx11 Food Factory 600 W food processor at Rs. 6,530.
Why it earned its spot The cheapest of four listings of the same model name.
A Bajaj FX-11 600 W food processor at Rs. 7,566, badged 1%.
Why it earned its spot The same model name, Rs. 1,036 dearer, with the badge switched off.
A Prestige Endura 1000 W juicer mixer grinder with four jars at Rs. 7,310.
Why it earned its spot A thousand stated watts, a real rating pool, Rs. 7.31 a watt.
A Havells Foodo 750 W food processor with attachment box at Rs. 8,747.
Why it earned its spot The ceiling of the 750 W block, rated by 28 people.
A Wonderchef Regal 1000 W food processor at Rs. 10,499.
Why it earned its spot The dearest proper food processor here, and nobody has rated it.
A gorek technologies GT-OT oil press, stated 600 W, at Rs. 28,017.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 46.70 a stated watt, and it is not a food processor at all.
Four checks before you filter. First, read the title, not the search box. These three queries returned hand-pull choppers with no motor, stick blenders, bowl processors, juicer mixer grinders, masala grinders and oil presses in one list; a Rs. 63 plastic bowl and a Rs. 28,017 oil press are both labelled food processors here. Second, do not shortlist by wattage. Eight listings state 600 W and sell between Rs. 1,622 and Rs. 28,017 — one claimed number, a seventeen-fold price range — and input wattage says nothing about how a machine chops or kneads. Third, check whether you are looking at the same machine twice. The Bajaj FX11 600 W appears four times here at prices Rs. 1,036 apart; their rating counts differ, so they are four listings of what the titles describe as one product, and the cheapest is as easy to miss as it is to find. Fourth, read the rating count, not the stars. Three Preethi Zodiac listings at Rs. 6,499, Rs. 8,398 and Rs. 8,649 all show 4.3 from the same 41,943 ratings, while four of the twenty cards seated here publish no rating at all. Pooling reviews across variants is an ordinary practice; it just means a big number beside a tile is not evidence about that tile. This is a price page: nothing here was bought, opened, assembled, run or tested, and no machine is assessed for motor quality, blade durability, noise or safety.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count here came from what flipkart.com's own search returned for 'food processor', 'hand blender' and 'chopper vegetable', two pages each, on 9 October 2026, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 169 rows came back and 20 are seated. Nothing is taken from another marketplace and nothing is inferred from a badge alone.
103 of the 169 rows print a wattage in the title. Eight state 700 W and sell at Rs. 873 to Rs. 984; seven state 750 W and sell at Rs. 5,057 to Rs. 8,747; eight state 600 W and sell at Rs. 1,622 to Rs. 28,017. Price per stated watt runs Rs. 0.30 to Rs. 99.47 with a median of Rs. 4.76. Those are divisions of two published numbers, computed on every row that states a wattage rather than on the ones that make the point.
We did not meter any motor. Where this page divides a price by a wattage it is dividing by the figure the seller printed in the title, and input wattage is in any case a poor proxy for how well a machine chops, grinds or kneads. The comparison here is between what two tiles claim, which is exactly the comparison a shopper makes on a search results page.
Four tiles name the Bajaj FX11 600 W at Rs. 6,530, Rs. 6,652, Rs. 6,749 and Rs. 7,566; their rating counts are 76, 107, 2,700 and 41, which is how we know they are four separate listings rather than one tile counted four times. Three Preethi Zodiac tiles at Rs. 6,499, Rs. 8,398 and Rs. 8,649 all show 4.3 from 41,943, which is how we know one pooled score is serving three prices. Pooling reviews across variants is an ordinary marketplace practice.
Four of the twenty seated listings publish no rating at all and three more are rated by fewer than 60 people. No card here carries a rating pill unless Flipkart published a star average backed by at least 100 ratings, and where there is no rating the spec strip says so instead of substituting a score of our own. Nothing on this page was bought, opened, assembled, run or tested.
In this read of 169 listings on 9 October 2026, prices ran from Rs. 63 to Rs. 29,959 with a median of Rs. 478 — but that range is wide because the search returns several different appliances. If you mean a bowl food processor from a familiar brand, the seated examples are the Bajaj FX11 600 W at Rs. 6,530, the Havells Foodo 750 W at Rs. 8,747 and the Wonderchef Regal 1000 W at Rs. 10,499. If you mean an electric chopper, the 700 W block sells at Rs. 873 to Rs. 984. Those figures describe these listings on that date rather than Flipkart's full catalogue, and Big Billion Days pricing changes daily.
This page cannot tell you, and the wattage will not tell you either. What it can report is the price gap: the eight listings stating 700 W sell for Rs. 873 to Rs. 984, and the seven stating 750 W sell for Rs. 5,057 to Rs. 8,747. Fifty claimed watts do not cost Rs. 7,800. The difference is in jar count, motor build, attachments, service network and warranty, and none of those appear in the wattage figure. Input wattage is also the seller's own stated claim, which we have not metered or tested. No machine on this page was bought, opened or run.
Because they are four separate listings. The Bajaj FX11 600 W appears four times in this read at Rs. 6,530, Rs. 6,652, Rs. 6,749 and Rs. 7,566, badged 19%, 16%, 6% and 1%, and their rating pools are 76, 107, 2,700 and 41 respectively — different pools, so different listings rather than one tile seen four times. Different sellers listing the same product at different prices is how a marketplace works and no wrongdoing is alleged of anyone. The practical point is that Rs. 1,036 separates them, and the tile showing the deepest badge is not always the cheapest.
Read the count rather than the stars. Three Preethi Zodiac listings in this read — at Rs. 6,499, Rs. 8,398 and Rs. 8,649 — all display 4.3 from the identical 41,943 ratings, which means one pooled score is serving three listings priced Rs. 2,150 apart. At the other end, four of the twenty listings seated here publish no rating at all, including one at Rs. 10,499, and three more are rated by fewer than 60 people. Pooling reviews across variants of a product is an ordinary and entirely legitimate marketplace practice; it simply means a large rating count beside a tile is not evidence about that particular tile or that particular price.
A badge is arithmetic over the selling price and a stated MRP the seller chose, and we have not verified that any machine here ever sold at its MRP. This shelf shows how far apart those two things can sit: three VERIXO model numbers all state the same Rs. 1,799 MRP while selling at Rs. 898, Rs. 908 and Rs. 957, and one Bajaj listing states Rs. 7,647 against a Rs. 7,566 price for a badge of 1% while its twin advertises 19%. Setting a maximum retail price, revising it and choosing how deeply to discount are ordinary and lawful commercial decisions and no wrongdoing is alleged. Compare the left-hand number across listings instead.
