A hundred and thirty listings read on one morning. The brands you have heard of advertise half as much off — from almost exactly the same stated list prices as the brands you have not.
Three earbuds on this shelf cost exactly Rs. 899. One says its list price is Rs. 4,999, one says Rs. 8,999, and one says Rs. 1,999. Flipkart's wireless earbud results on 11 October 2026: 130 listings, 81 distinct, Rs. 245 to Rs. 1,799. The six brands here most people could name print a median stated MRP of Rs. 2,894 and charge Rs. 1,444. The rest print a median stated MRP of Rs. 2,999 — the same number — and charge Rs. 699. The percentage is measuring the MRP, not what you pay.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on October 11, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Four checks before you add to cart. First, divide the stated MRP by the price. Round multiples are the giveaway: the Fire-Boltt here states Rs. 8,999 against Rs. 899, which is 10.01x, and the Aroma states Rs. 2,599 against Rs. 288, which is 9.02x. A list price that lands on a neat multiple of the selling price was almost certainly set from the selling price. Second, read the rating count before the average. On this shelf the pools run from 161 people to 1,627,133, and a 4.2 from 741 is a far weaker claim than a 4.0 from 1.6 million — both of which appear on this page. Third, watch for one product under several listings. The boAt Airdopes 161 appears more than once with the identical 1,592,557-rating pool attached to each; an identical rating count across two tiles means one product, not two verdicts. Fourth, know what a return gets you. Flipkart's own returns policy, which we read the same morning, puts every listing on this shelf in a replacement-only bucket — none of the 130 carries a refund right, and whether Flipkart or the brand's service centre handles a defect depends on whether the brand is on Flipkart's list of 37. This is a price page: nothing was bought, charged, paired or listened to, and no pair is assessed for sound, battery or fit.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count here came from the payload flipkart.com itself serves for 'bluetooth headphones' and 'wireless earbuds', read on 11 October 2026, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 130 rows came back, 81 are distinct listings and 25 are seated. Every count, median and range on this page is computed on the full read, not on the 25.
Flipkart returns the same product under several listings, and the giveaway is an identical rating count: the boAt Airdopes 161 appears more than once with the same 1,592,557 ratings against two different stated MRPs. Rows sharing a rating count, price and MRP were collapsed to one before counting, and no two seated cards share a photograph. Where a seated product is known to appear under other listings, its card says so.
Every card here carries a real Flipkart star average next to the number of people behind it, because on this shelf the pools are genuinely large — eight listings have six-figure counts and two exceed 1.5 million. No editorial score of our own is substituted anywhere. The count is shown precisely because a 4.5 from eleven people and a 4.0 from 1.6 million are not the same claim, and three listings here publish averages of 3.4 to 3.6, which we have left in place and said so on the card.
boAt's median comes from all 33 of its rows, TRIGGR's from all 17, Noise's from all 12, Mivi's from all 8, realme's from all 6 and OnePlus's from all 4. The named-brand and unnamed-brand medians quoted throughout are taken across the seated 25, and both the figure and the group size are stated wherever the comparison is made.
This is a page about published prices and published ratings. 'ANC', '50H playtime', '13mm drivers', '40ms latency', 'quad mic', 'IPX5' and every other specification are the listings' own printed wording, reproduced as printed and not measured or verified by us. No pair on this page is assessed for sound quality, noise cancellation, call clarity, battery life, comfort, fit or build, and a lower price is a statement about money only.
On the published evidence from this read, the strongest case under Rs. 1,000 is the GOBOULT Z40 at Rs. 899, which carries 511,735 Flipkart ratings at 4.1, and its stablemate the GOBOULT W20 at Rs. 699 with 272,691 ratings, also at 4.1. Between them that is 784,426 people and the most consistent brand result in the whole 130-row read. Note what we are and are not saying: this is the listing with the largest rating pool for the money, not a verdict on how it sounds — we did not buy, charge, pair or listen to anything on this page. Twenty of the twenty-five seated listings sell under Rs. 1,000, from Rs. 245 to Rs. 999.
Because the percentage is calculated from the stated MRP, and on this shelf the stated MRPs are set well above the street price. Fire-Boltt's Aero Pro states Rs. 8,999 and sells at Rs. 899 — a multiple of 10.01x. Aroma's NB120 states Rs. 2,599 and sells at Rs. 288, or 9.02x. Round multiples are what a list price looks like when it is set from the selling price rather than the other way round. The clearest demonstration is three listings on this page that all cost exactly Rs. 899: they state Rs. 4,999, Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 1,999, so they badge 82%, 90% and 55% for identical money at checkout. None of this means any MRP is improper — there are ordinary reasons a maximum retail price sits above the expected street price. It does mean the badge is not a guide to which listing is cheaper.
Not on the published rating evidence, which is the only evidence this page has. The GOBOULT Z40 at Rs. 899 averages 4.1 from 511,735 ratings; the SONY WI-C100 at Rs. 1,390 averages 3.6 from 19,052; the MOTOROLA Buds 2 Fusion at Rs. 1,799 averages 4.2 from 741. The highest average and largest pool on the page do belong to a name brand — OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3, 4.3 from 1,627,133 — but it costs Rs. 1,599. What a listed brand does reliably buy you is service: Flipkart's returns policy routes defects on its 37 listed electronics brands to that brand's authorised service centre, a network the unlisted brands do not have. We did not test any product for sound, battery or build.
Not for a refund under the general policy. We read Flipkart's Returns Policy the same morning and checked all 130 earbud listings against it: 19 listings from six brands fall under "7 Days Service Center Replacement/Repair only" and the other 111 fall under "7 days Replacement only" — so 130 of 130 carry no refund right under the general table. Which bucket applies depends on whether the brand is on Flipkart's 37-brand electronics list. The exception, and it matters: the policy states four times that the returns policy on the individual product page prevails over the general one, so check the listing before buying. The full policy read is here.
Because Flipkart lists the same product more than once, and the duplicates can carry different stated MRPs and prices. The giveaway is an identical rating count. In this read the boAt Airdopes 161 came back under more than one listing with the same 1,592,557 ratings attached to each, against stated MRPs of Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 2,490. That is one rating pool shown against several tiles, not several independent verdicts — so a matching count across two listings tells you they are the same product and you should simply buy the cheaper one. Of the 130 rows in this read only 81 are distinct listings once duplicates are collapsed, which is why every median on this page was taken after that step.
