Flipkart re-prices and re-ranks without notice, so we re-read this aisle and log what has changed here.
One football, one rating pool, four prices
We read four Flipkart sports searches on 26 September 2026 — "cricket bat", "badminton racket", "football size 5" and "table tennis racquet", two pages each, 252 distinct listings. The single largest rating count on any of them is 385,258, and it appears on four separate listings at four different prices.
All four are NIVIA's Storm football in size 5. White with a pump is Rs. 399. Orange with a pump is Rs. 399. Yellow with a pump is Rs. 688. White without a pump is Rs. 626. An identical rating count across separate listings normally means the reviews are pooled — the marketplace is treating these as variants of one product — and yet the yellow one costs Rs. 289 more than the orange one.
