Thirty-five sized baby lotions read on 5 October. Converted to a price per 100 ml, the order of the shelf changes completely.
A baby lotion shelf is six bottle sizes deep, so the number on the tag is not the price of the lotion. Across the 35 sized listings Flipkart returned on 5 October, the cost of 100 ml runs from Rs. 45.25 to Rs. 586. Sebamed's Rs. 293 bottle is the dearest millilitre on the page and Aveeno's Rs. 1,449 bottle is cheaper per millilitre than four smaller ones. One Softsens multipack costs more per 100 g than the single tub. The discount badges sit at 9% on one of the cheapest millilitres and 16% on the dearest.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on October 5, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Why it earned its spot The highest per-gram figure here, on 1,215 ratings.
Four rules. First: divide before you compare. Flipkart prints the pack size in its own field on the tile, so price divided by that size is arithmetic you can do without opening anything - and on this shelf it reorders the page completely, moving a Rs. 293 bottle to the dearest position and a Rs. 1,449 bottle to mid-table. Second: do not assume the multipack saves. The Softsens cream pack of two works out at Rs. 136.50 per 100 g against Rs. 135 for the single tub, and the Softsens lotion pack of two saves 10% per millilitre while carrying a 49% badge against the single's 44%. The badge on a multipack is computed from a doubled stated MRP, so it grows with the pack whether or not the unit price falls. The Mother Sparsh ladder is the counter-example and a real one: 30% off per millilitre for the 400 ml. Third: check whether the rating count repeats. Four groups here share a pool - 37,931 across two Sebamed bottles, 11,159 across three Mother Sparsh sizes, 9,536 across three Softsens creams - so two tiles showing the same large number are one body of reviews shown twice, not independent evidence. Fourth: treat a size field that contradicts its own title as unusable rather than as a bargain. The Softsens 'Pack of 3' prints 100 g in its size field; at 300 g it is the cheapest cream here and at 100 g the dearest, and nothing on the tile settles which. If the brief is simply the most lotion for the money from a listing with evidence behind it, Himalaya's 700 ml at Rs. 339 is Rs. 48.43 per 100 ml on 29,504 ratings. This is a price page and not a recommendation about any infant's skin: we did not open, smell or apply anything, and nothing here is medical or infant-care advice.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average, rating count and pack size on this page was parsed on 5 October 2026 from the tiles flipkart.com serves with its own search-results pages for 'baby lotion' and 'feeding bottle', logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 138 listings were returned across the queries run; 35 baby lotion and cream listings carried a parseable pack size and 22 are seated.
Every per-100 ml and per-100 g figure here divides the selling price by the volume or weight printed in the listing's own size field. Where that field and the title disagree - the Softsens 'Pack of 3', whose field reads 100 g - no unit price is asserted and the card says why.
Four groups of listings here display identical rating counts: 37,931 on two Sebamed bottles, 11,159 on three Mother Sparsh sizes, 9,277 on two Softsens lotions and 9,536 on three Softsens creams. We report the identical counts as the listings publish them. We did not open the product pages, and no claim is made about how any two listings relate.
The 22 cards run from Rs. 45.25 to Rs. 586 per 100 ml and the chapters are ordered by that figure rather than by price or by our preference. The cheapest millilitre in the read is seated even though it carries no ratings, and the most expensive price tag is seated even though it is mid-table per millilitre.
The pools on this shelf run from zero to 84,126. A star average without its sample size is not readable, so every card prints both, and no card treats an average on a few hundred ratings as a verdict on a product applied to an infant's skin.
'pH 5.5', 'hypoallergenic', 'dermatologically tested', 'clinically tested', 'paraben free', 'no harmful chemicals', 'organic' and 'safe for newborns' are the listings' own printed words, reproduced as printed and not verified or endorsed by us. We did not buy, open, smell or apply anything. Nothing on this page is medical, dermatological or infant-care advice, and no lotion here is compared with another on safety or suitability for any child.
In this read of 35 sized listings on 5 October 2026, price tags ran from Rs. 108 to Rs. 1,449. Converted to a price per 100 ml or 100 g using Flipkart's own size field, the shelf ran Rs. 45.25 to Rs. 586. Most 400 ml bottles from recognised brands sat between Rs. 48 and Rs. 105 per 100 ml. The lowest price tag was a Dabur 200 ml at Rs. 108; the lowest unit price with substantial ratings behind it was Himalaya's 700 ml at Rs. 48.43 per 100 ml. Prices change continuously, so check the live page.
Not on this shelf. Mother Sparsh's 400 ml works out 30% cheaper per millilitre than its own 200 ml, but the Softsens Baby Cream pack of two comes to Rs. 136.50 per 100 g against Rs. 135 for the single tub, and the Softsens lotion pack of two saves only 10% per millilitre. Sebamed's 100 ml is 22% cheaper per millilitre than its 50 ml, which is a real but much smaller saving than the doubling of volume suggests. The only way to know is to divide the price by the stated size on each tile.
We can only report that they do. Both the 50 ml listing at Rs. 293 and the 100 ml listing at Rs. 481 displayed 4.4 stars from 37,931 ratings on 5 October 2026. Rating counts attach to a product record rather than to a size or a listing, so an identical count on two tiles is one body of reviews shown twice. The same happens with three Mother Sparsh sizes at 11,159 and three Softsens creams at 9,536. We did not open the product pages, and nothing improper is alleged by anyone.
Not here. The 9% badge in this read sat on a lotion costing Rs. 65.75 per 100 ml and the 16% badge sat on the shelf's most expensive millilitre at Rs. 586. Badges are arithmetic over a stated MRP and a selling price, and on a shelf sold in six bottle sizes neither number tells you what a millilitre costs. We have not verified that any item here was ever sold at its stated MRP; assigning a list price is an ordinary and lawful commercial decision, and no wrongdoing is alleged.
This page cannot answer that and does not try to. It is a price page: it reports what each listing charges per 100 ml or 100 g on one date, and nothing more. A unit price measures quantity, not suitability - the cheapest millilitre in this read carries no ratings at all. Ingredient lists, pH claims, 'hypoallergenic', 'dermatologically tested' and 'safe for newborns' are the listings' own printed words, reproduced as printed and not verified by us. For anything concerning an infant's skin, ask a paediatrician or pharmacist.
