Sorted that way, the sixteen listings fall into seven tripods and nine gimbals — and the split turns out to be the whole price story, because nothing on this shelf does both jobs and nothing is priced between them.
We looked for the overlap between the two, and there is none
The dearest tripod here is a GoPro 3-Way 2.0 at Rs. 5,949. The cheapest gimbal is a DJI Osmo 7 at Rs. 5,999. Fifty rupees apart, and not one listing in between. Below the cliff every listing is between Rs. 650 and Rs. 1,649 except that one GoPro; above it, nothing costs less than six thousand. This is not a spectrum you can walk up gradually. It is a decision, and the money says so.
We counted the brands above the cliff
All nine gimbals on this shelf are DJI. Not most of them — every single one, across five model families. Below the cliff there are four brands in seven listings: Croma, GoPro and HIFFIN. Does a taller tripod cost more at Croma?
