On price these two shelves are almost the same. On evidence they are not.
We read both home shelves on the morning of 2 September 2026, logged out and unfiltered: AJIO's own results for bedsheet, bed cover, curtain and cushion cover (two pages each, 288 distinct listings) and Myntra's /bedsheets, /bed-covers, /curtains and /cushion-covers pages (144 distinct listings). 432 listings in total.
On money they are close to interchangeable. AJIO's median is Rs. 734 at 60 per cent off; Myntra's is Rs. 789 at 64. Twenty-two per cent of each shelf sells under Rs. 500, and 72 and 73 per cent respectively under Rs. 1,000. Fifty-five rupees separate the medians.
The difference that matters is in a column that has nothing to do with price. Myntra shows a customer rating on 103 of its 144 listings, 36 of them with more than a thousand ratings. AJIO shows a rating on none of its 288. Not a low score — the field is empty on every row.

Aisle by aisle: where each shelf is actually cheaper
Split into the four aisles, the shelves diverge in ways the headline medians hide, and neither wins outright.
Bed covers and curtains are cheaper on AJIO — median Rs. 884 against Myntra's Rs. 1,299 on bed covers, and Rs. 639 against Rs. 933 on curtains. Cushion covers are close (Rs. 640 against Rs. 618) but Myntra's median discount is nine points higher. Bedsheets are a near-tie at Rs. 640 and Rs. 617.
One structural difference is worth naming: AJIO's shelf runs up to Rs. 5,039 while Myntra's first pages stop at Rs. 1,499. That is partly a catalogue difference and partly which pages we read, so treat AJIO's higher ceiling as coverage rather than as AJIO being dearer. Twelve brands sell on both, and KLOTTHE is the sharpest case
Because a dozen brands appear on both shelves, this is one of the rare comparisons where you can hold the label constant.
KLOTTHE is the standout. AJIO lists ten KLOTTHE items at 70 to 80 per cent off with a median price of Rs. 1,005 and no ratings. Myntra lists fifteen at 84 to 85 per cent off with a median of Rs. 473 — and four of them carry over 18,700 ratings each at 4.3.
It goes both ways. Saral Home is cheaper on AJIO (median Rs. 697 against Rs. 1,099) and Creeva costs Rs. 1,804 on AJIO at 5 per cent off against Rs. 698 on Myntra at 61. Jaipur Fabric is a near-tie. The honest caveat applies to all of them: within a brand these are different sizes, thread counts and pack contents, so a median gap describes what each retailer chose to stock, not the same sheet priced twice.

Those four fields explain more of the price difference between any two listings than the discount percentage does.
What Myntra's review counts actually show
If the ratings are the reason to shop one shelf over the other, it is worth seeing what they contain rather than just that they exist.
The most-reviewed listing on either shelf is a SEJ by Nisha Gupta 144 TC double king bedsheet at Rs. 619 with 47,994 ratings at 4.1. Three MYTRIDENT (Trident) 144 TC queen bedsheets sit at Rs. 637 to Rs. 703 with 24,190 ratings each at 4.5. Five KLOTTHE 300 TC king bedsheets run Rs. 449 to Rs. 499 with 6,484 to 18,771 ratings at 4.3.
That is a genuinely usable evidence base at exactly the price point most people shop, and it is the thing AJIO's shelf cannot offer at all. Forty-one of Myntra's 144 listings do carry no rating either, so the coverage is not total — but 103 of 144 against 0 of 288 is not a close call.

Both shelves were read on the morning of 2 September 2026, logged out, with no filters and no sort order applied. AJIO: the site's own search results for bedsheet, bed cover, curtain and cushion cover, two pages per term, giving 288 distinct listings; note that AJIO's results for cushion cover also return split-AC and washing-machine covers, which are counted in the totals and excluded from the price tables. Myntra: the /bedsheets, /bed-covers, /curtains and /cushion-covers listing pages read through the site's own window.__myx payload, giving 144 distinct listings. Price, MRP, discount, rating and rating count are each site's own fields exactly as served; on all 288 AJIO rows the rating and rating-count fields were returned empty, and we report that absence as observed without speculating about the reason. If you are buying a bedsheet under Rs. 800, Myntra is the straightforward answer — not because it is cheaper (it is Rs. 55 dearer at the median) but because at that price it will show you a 4.3 from 18,000 people and AJIO will show you nothing. When two sheets cost the same, evidence is the tie-breaker.
If you are buying curtains or a bed cover, AJIO's medians are materially lower (Rs. 639 against Rs. 933 on curtains; Rs. 884 against Rs. 1,299 on bed covers) and its floor is lower too — four Cortina sheer panels between Rs. 130 and Rs. 168. You are trading the review data for roughly Rs. 300 on the median curtain.
