Amazon Razor Blade Prices September 2026: Rs. 1.90 to Rs. 499 a Blade

Two razor blade packs from this Amazon India September 2026 per-blade price read — a King C. Gillette ten-blade double-edge pack and a Gillette Labs two-cartridge refill pack — shown as they appear on their amazon.in listings
Zoutons Picks — Amazon India, September 2026

Two hundred and five razor listings read on one morning. The cost of a single blade spans 268x, and the thing that sets it is not the brand on the box.

Prices & codes last verified September 13, 2026

The short of it Amazon razor and blade prices read 13 September 2026, priced per blade. The cheapest blade is Rs. 1.90; the dearest cartridge is Rs. 499. Double-edge blades run at a median of Rs. 3.38 against Rs. 137.38 for cartridges. A Mach3 sixteen-pack costs 39% less per shave than its own two-pack, and Feather's 200-blade box is 55% cheaper per blade than its 10-blade tin. Not one listing on this page showed a discount badge.

We read two hundred and five unique non-sponsored razor and blade listings on amazon.in on 13 September 2026, and the shelf turns out to hide the only number that matters. Blades are sold in boxes - Rs. 95, Rs. 599, Rs. 3,143 - and the box price is set mostly by the count inside it. Divide one by the other and a single blade runs from Rs. 1.90 to Rs. 499. What sets that 268x spread is not the brand: Gillette sells a double-edge blade at Rs. 113.40 and a cartridge at Rs. 39.17. It is the system.

Every price below was pulled from Amazon on September 13, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Amazon coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

“The median double-edge blade in this read costs Rs. 3.38. The median cartridge refill costs Rs. 137.38. Both are sold on the same shelf, to the same face, on the same morning.” Zoutons Editorial Team

Four rules for buying razor blades on Amazon

First: divide before you compare. Price divided by the blade count in the title is the only figure that puts two shaving listings side by side, and this shelf writes its counts badly enough that the division needs checking - one listing here reads "Pack Of 2" and holds ten blades. Second: the system sets the rate, not the brand. Double-edge blades ran to a median of Rs. 3.38 in this read, disposables Rs. 16.90 and cartridge refills Rs. 137.38, and the same manufacturer appears near the top and the bottom of that list. Third: check the ladder rather than assuming it - Feather's 200-blade box is 55% cheaper per blade than its 10-blade tin, and the Mach3 sixteen-pack is 39% cheaper than its two-pack, but the LetsShave disposable saves you two percent for doubling the order. Fourth: ignore the badge, because there is not one. Not a single listing in this read displayed a struck-through MRP with a discount attached, the same near-total absence we found on Amazon's grocery shelves and its diaper aisle.

What we skipped — and why

What we skipped, and why: every sponsored placement; the 124 listings whose titles state no pack count at all, which cannot be divided and are excluded from every figure here; the four counted listings whose titles state the count ambiguously - a “Pack Of 2” holding ten blades, a “1/2 Blades” holding a hundred, a “50 In 1 (Pack Of 4)” holding two hundred - which we could not divide honestly; shaving creams, foams, gels, alum bars and post-shave balms, which three of these searches also returned but which are priced by weight rather than by blade; electric trimmers and body groomers, which are a durable rather than a consumable; and twenty-one of the twenty-six listings that cost over Rs. 100 a blade, of which we seat five to show where the band ends rather than all of them.

What we look for

We price one blade, not one pack

A shaving aisle is priced in boxes — Rs. 95, Rs. 599, Rs. 3,143 — and the box price is set mostly by how many blades are inside it. So every card here leads with the figure the packaging never puts in a readable size: the cost of one blade, which is the selling price divided by the count stated in the product title. Across the 73 listings where that division is possible and unambiguous, one blade runs from Rs. 1.86 to Rs. 499.00 — a 268-fold spread on a shelf where everything does the same job.

We hand-checked every count we seat

Pack counts on this shelf are written badly and often. One listing reads “Pack Of 2” and contains ten blades; another reads “1/2 Blades” and contains a hundred; a third reads “50 In 1 (Pack Of 4)” and contains two hundred. Four of the 77 counted listings state their count so ambiguously that we could not divide them honestly, so they are excluded from every figure on this page, and the count on all 21 seated cards was checked against both the title and the pack photograph before it was used.

We group by shaving system, because that is what sets the price

The obvious guess is that brand sets the rate. It does not; the system does. Double-edge blades on this read: 21 listings, Rs. 1.86 to Rs. 113.40, median Rs. 3.38. Disposable razors: 8 listings, Rs. 8.48 to Rs. 98.17, median Rs. 16.90. Cartridge refills: 39 listings, Rs. 13.59 to Rs. 499.00, median Rs. 137.38. The median cartridge costs 40.6 times the median double-edge blade, and Gillette sells at both ends — its King C. line at Rs. 113.40 a double-edge blade, its Vector Plus at Rs. 39.17 a cartridge.

We do not pretend the two products are the same object

This is the correction the per-blade number needs. A five-blade cartridge carries a pivoting head, a lubricating strip and a guard bar, and it is designed to be used for weeks; a double-edge blade is a folded sheet of steel that goes into a metal handle you buy once and keep for years. We price the consumable, and the consumable is genuinely what you keep re-buying — but nothing on this page tests closeness of shave, comfort or how many shaves a blade lasts, and those differences are real.

We check the pack ladder rather than assuming it

Bigger is usually cheaper per blade here, and by wildly different margins. Feather's double-edge blade is Rs. 34.70 each in the 10-count tin and Rs. 15.71 in the 200-count — the big box is 55 percent cheaper per blade. Gillette Mach3 is Rs. 162.50 a cartridge in the 2-pack and Rs. 98.94 in the 16-pack, 39 percent cheaper. But LetsShave's Pro 2 Plus disposable is Rs. 16.80 each at ten and Rs. 16.45 at twenty — a 2 percent saving for doubling the order. Both rungs of all three ladders are seated below.

FAQs

What is the cheapest razor blade on Amazon India right now?

In this read of 205 unique non-sponsored listings on 13 September 2026, the cheapest blade with a real rating sample behind it was Rs. 1.90 — a Topaz Platinum double-edge box, 50 blades for Rs. 95, at 4.1 stars from 346 ratings. Two other double-edge boxes sat within sixty paise of it. Those are all double-edge blades, which need a metal safety-razor handle you buy once. If you want a complete disposable razor rather than a blade, the floor was Rs. 8.48 a razor; if you want a cartridge refill, the floor was Rs. 39.17 a cartridge. Prices change daily and the live listing is authoritative.

How much cheaper are double-edge blades than cartridges?

On this read, roughly forty times at the median. The 21 double-edge listings we could divide came in at a median of Rs. 3.38 a blade; the 39 cartridge listings came in at a median of Rs. 137.38 a cartridge. That is a 40.6x gap for the consumable. Two honest caveats. A cartridge lasts longer for most people than a single double-edge blade, so the per-shave gap is smaller than the per-blade gap, though we did not test how much smaller. And the format does not guarantee the rate in either direction — the dearest double-edge blade in this read was Rs. 113.40, well above the cheapest cartridge.

Is the bigger blade pack always cheaper per blade?

No, and the difference between ladders is dramatic. Feather's Hi-Stainless double-edge blade is Rs. 34.70 each in the 10-count tin and Rs. 15.71 in the 200-count box — 55 percent cheaper per blade. Gillette Mach3 is Rs. 162.50 a cartridge in the two-pack and Rs. 98.94 in the sixteen-pack, 39 percent cheaper. But LetsShave's Pro 2 Plus disposable is Rs. 16.80 each in the ten-pack and Rs. 16.45 in the twenty-pack, which is a saving of thirty-five paise a razor. All three ladders were read in the same session and all six rungs are seated on this page. The only reliable method is to divide each pack yourself.

Why do Amazon razor listings state their pack counts so confusingly?

Because the count is written for the retail box rather than for a search result, and boxes are packed in tucks. On this shelf we found a listing titled “Pack Of 2” that contains ten blades in two tucks of five, one titled “1/2 Blades” that contains a hundred, and one titled “50 In 1 (Pack Of 4)” that contains two hundred. We excluded all four such listings from every figure on this page rather than guess, and hand-checked the count on all 21 cards we seat. If you are comparing yourself, read the count off the pack photograph as well as the title.

Do razor blades on Amazon come with discounts?

Not on this read. Not one of the 205 unique non-sponsored listings displayed a struck-through MRP with a percentage attached — the discount badge is simply absent from this shelf, the same way it is largely absent from Amazon's grocery and diaper aisles. There is one thing not to confuse with a discount: on consumables amazon.in sometimes prints a per-unit rate in the slot where a struck-through MRP would sit, and several razor tiles here carry a figure below the selling price for that reason. That is a rate, not an offer. The saving available on this shelf comes from pack size and from system choice, not from a badge.

More Amazon coverage on Zoutons

How Zoutons picks deals Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every selling price, blade count, star average and rating count here was read on 13 September 2026 from amazon.in search results as served to a logged-out visitor in India, across nine razor and blade queries; sponsored placements were discarded and results deduped by ASIN. The per-blade figures are ours, computed from the selling price and the count stated in each product title, and the count on every seated card was checked by hand against both the title and the pack photograph. Listings with no stated count, or with an ambiguous one, are excluded from every figure. Nothing here tests shave quality, comfort, sharpness or how many shaves a blade lasts. Prices and stock change without notice, so the live listing is authoritative.
