The badge on this shelf names a promotion slot, not a product. Twenty-two picks from 227 listings read on August 10.
We read 227 AJIO men's listings on August 10, 2026 and seated 22. The discount here names a promotion slot rather than a product: nine listings from four unrelated labels all sell at exactly Rs. 285 against exactly Rs. 1,499 at 81 per cent, and inside that group a polo costs the same as a plain tee. Three more slots behave the same way at Rs. 280, Rs. 356 and Rs. 425. Running the other way, Vastrado holds exactly 63 per cent across eleven shirts at eight prices. AJIO publishes no ratings at all.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on August 10, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: check whether the price you are looking at is shared by other listings, because on this shelf a slot of nine listings at one price is common and the badge is naming the slot. Second: take the collar - within a slot, a polo and a plain tee cost the same, so buy the more useful shape. Third: prefer a small gap over a big one, since MAX's Rs. 25 off a stated Rs. 249 is a real price and Rs. 4,999 claimed on a Rs. 750 polo is not - the same test this series applied across AJIO's formalwear aisle. Fourth: read the cut before anything else, because AJIO publishes no ratings and loose, oversized and relaxed fits forgive a size error that slim and ribbed slim will not. Fifth: watch for a brand-wide constant like Vastrado's 63 per cent, which tells you the percentage is policy rather than a sale - the same structure that turned up on the sneaker wall.

On this shelf it is usually a slot. Nine listings from four unrelated labels sell at exactly Rs. 285 against exactly Rs. 1,499 at exactly 81 per cent. Five more sit at Rs. 280 against Rs. 999 at 72. Six at Rs. 356 against Rs. 699 at 49, from two Reliance Retail house brands. Six at Rs. 425 against Rs. 599 at 29. In every one of those groups a polo with a collar and a placket costs precisely the same as a plain crew-neck tee, which no manufacturer's costing would produce.
Vastrado filed eleven shirts into this read at eight different prices from Rs. 573 to Rs. 832, and every single one shows exactly 63 per cent off - the stated MRP moving with the price to hold the ratio. MAX's seven rows all sit between 10 and 13 per cent, and WROGN's three between 53 and 55. A badge that is constant across a brand's whole catalogue is describing that brand's promotion policy, not any of its garments.
Rs. 1,499 appears both as the claim behind nine Rs. 285 marketplace listings at 81 per cent off and as the claim behind a Louis Philippe polo at Rs. 779 and 48 per cent. One of those is a number a department-store brand has to honour on a shelf somewhere; the other is not. The largest claim in the read is Rs. 4,999 on a Red Tape polo selling at Rs. 750. The most credible are MAX's Rs. 249, NETPLAY's Rs. 599 and Teamspirit's Rs. 699 - small gaps, ordinary numbers.
AJIO published no rating and no rating count on any of the 227 rows we read, so no rating pill appears anywhere on this page and we have not invented a score. What is left is what each listing states: loose, oversized and relaxed fits absorb a wrong size where slim and ribbed slim do not; cotton breathes and a blend holds shape; a spread collar sits differently from a point collar. On a shelf where the price is a slot and there are no reviews, those are the only facts that vary.
Because the price is a promotion slot that several listings are placed into together, rather than a figure set per garment. In our August 10, 2026 read of 227 AJIO men's listings, nine from four unrelated labels all sold at exactly Rs. 285 against exactly Rs. 1,499 at exactly 81 per cent off. Five more shared Rs. 280 against Rs. 999, six shared Rs. 356 against Rs. 699, and six shared Rs. 425 against Rs. 599. Inside each of those groups a polo with a collar and a placket costs the same as a plain crew-neck T-shirt, which no manufacturing cost would produce.
The subtraction is real; the number it is subtracted from is the seller's own. The nine Rs. 285 listings all claim Rs. 1,499, and the same Rs. 1,499 claim appears elsewhere on this page behind a Louis Philippe polo selling at Rs. 779 - a 48 per cent badge. The biggest claim we found was Rs. 4,999 on a Red Tape polo selling at Rs. 750. Rs. 285 may well be a fair price for a cotton tee. The percentage in front of it is describing the claim, not the shirt.
The ones with shops to answer to. MAX, a Landmark Group chain with stores across India, filed seven rows in our read and every one sat between 10 and 13 per cent - a printed T-shirt at Rs. 224 against a stated Rs. 249 is twenty-five rupees off and an entirely believable claim. NETPLAY's Rs. 599 and Teamspirit's Rs. 699 are similarly ordinary numbers. Levi's ran 39 to 62 per cent and Louis Philippe 44 to 48, both against claims those brands charge in department stores.
It means the percentage is that brand's promotion policy rather than a sale on any item. Vastrado put eleven shirts into our read at eight different prices between Rs. 573 and Rs. 832, and every one showed exactly 63 per cent off - the stated MRP moving up and down with the price to hold the ratio fixed. WROGN's three rows all sat between 53 and 55 per cent and MAX's seven between 10 and 13. A constant badge across a catalogue tells you about the seller, never about the garment.
Read the cut, then the fabric, then the claim. AJIO published no rating or rating count on any of the 227 rows we read, so there is no crowd evidence to fall back on at all. Loose, oversized and relaxed fits absorb a half-size error; slim fits and ribbed slim fits punish one. Cotton breathes and a blend holds its shape. And within a shared price slot, take the polo over the plain tee, because the collar and placket are being given away.
