Twenty-two necklaces, earrings and sets read on 20 September. One brand states exactly five times its price on every listing it sells - and no listing on the shelf publishes a single rating.
We read AJIO's earring, necklace and jewellery-set listings on 20 September 2026 and seated 22 of the 104 that returned both a price and a stated MRP. Divide one by the other and a pattern falls out that the percentage hides: on 28 listings the MRP is an exact round multiple of the price - five times, six and two thirds, eight and a third, ten. One brand does it on every listing it sells. This page prints the multiple on every card, because on a shelf where AJIO publishes no ratings at all, it is the only number you can actually check.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on September 20, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Why it earned its spot The largest stated MRP in the read, produced by the same multiplication as the Rs. 2,380 listing from the same brand.
First: divide the MRP by the price before you read the badge. If the answer is a round number - five, six and two thirds, ten - the MRP was almost certainly written from the price, and the percentage tells you nothing. Twenty-eight of the 104 listings we read do exactly that. Second: there are no ratings on this shelf at all, so you are buying from a photograph. That argues for cheaper pieces, where a disappointment costs Rs. 200 rather than Rs. 8,670, and for knowing the return window before you order. Third: read the pack count. Two chains cost Rs. 200 here and one chain also costs Rs. 200. Fourth: understand what the category is. Everything on this page is plated base metal with glass or cubic zirconia stones - 'American diamond' is the trade term for zirconia - and it is priced for a season of wear, not for a lifetime of it. Judged that way, most of these prices are fair. None of the MRPs above them is useful.

Every selling price, stated MRP and discount badge on this page was read on 20 September 2026 from ajio.com's own search responses for earrings, necklace and jewellery set, logged out, in India. 104 listings returned both a price and a stated MRP; 22 are seated.
We print the multiple because the percentage hides it. On 28 of the 104 listings the stated MRP is an exact round multiple of the selling price - 2.00, 2.50, 3.33, 5.00, 6.25, 6.67, 8.33 and 10.00 times, which are exactly 50, 60, 70, 80, 84, 85, 88 and 90 per cent off.
Not one of the 104 listings we read carries a star average or a rating count. That is AJIO's own display behaviour on this category, not a gap in our reading, and it means nothing on this page can be weighed against what buyers thought. No rating pill appears anywhere here.
'Set of 2', 'set of 6' and 'multi-piece' all appear on this shelf at prices that look like single items. Where a listing is a multipack or a necklace-plus-earrings set we say so and give the per-piece price.
Gold-plating, silver-plating, anti-tarnish coatings, 'American diamond' - the Indian trade term for cubic zirconia - and every stone or material description is AJIO's listing text, quoted as such. We have not handled any of these pieces and make no claim about metal content or how long a plating lasts.
Setting a high maximum retail price is legal and commonplace in Indian fashion retail. This page reports the relationship between the two numbers each listing publishes and draws no conclusion about any seller's conduct or intent.
Because the percentage is the gap between the price and a stated MRP, and on this shelf the MRP frequently appears to be derived from the price. In our 20 September 2026 read of 104 listings, 28 had a stated MRP that is an exact round multiple of the selling price: 2.00, 2.50, 3.33, 5.00, 6.25, 6.67, 8.33 and 10.00 times, which produce exactly 50, 60, 70, 80, 84, 85, 88 and 90 per cent off. Oomph studs are Rs. 239 against Rs. 2,390. Setting a high MRP is legal and commonplace; it simply means the badge cannot be used to rank anything.
No. Not one of the 104 earring, necklace and jewellery-set listings we read on 20 September 2026 published a star average or a rating count. That is AJIO's own display behaviour rather than a gap in our reading - the same response that carries every price and MRP carries no rating field. The practical effect on a shelf of visually similar plated pieces is that you cannot sort them by what buyers actually thought, so the return policy matters more than usual.
In our read, from Rs. 50 for a single men's stud earring to Rs. 8,670 for a multi-piece bridal set, with the median listing at about Rs. 417. Plated pendants and chains start around Rs. 95 to Rs. 200, necklace-and-earrings sets around Rs. 280 to Rs. 600, and heavier ethnic sets from brands like Biba and Lucky Jewellery run Rs. 2,380 to Rs. 8,670.
No. American diamond is the Indian trade term for cubic zirconia, a synthetic stone, and the listings that use it do not claim otherwise. It is the standard stone in this whole category, including on the Rs. 151 Jewels galaxy pendants and most of the 'stone-studded' sets on this page. Similarly, 'gold-plated' and 'silver-plated' describe a coating over a base metal; none of the listings we read states the plating thickness, so how long it lasts is not something the page can tell you.
The RHEA Terracota Tides necklace at Rs. 3,231, stated at Rs. 3,590 - 1.11 times the price, a 10 per cent badge, and the smallest claim among all 104 listings we read. After it, Shein at 1.30 times, Salty Alpha's men's earrings at 1.41 to 2.13 times and Biba at exactly two. As a rule on this shelf, the apparel and watch brands state modest multiples and the costume jewellery labels state five to ten.
