One hundred and ninety-seven listings read on one afternoon. The multipacks carry the smaller badges and cost 43% less per garment, and nothing on the shelf carries a rating at all.
We read one hundred and ninety-seven innerwear listings on ajio.com on 12 September 2026, divided every multipack down to a single garment, and found the discount badge pointing the wrong way. The fifty multipack listings carry a median badge of 36% off and work out at Rs. 183 a piece. The hundred and forty-seven singles carry a median 56% and work out at Rs. 322. The group with the smaller discounts is the one that costs less per garment, by 43%.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on September 12, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: do not sort by discount. On this shelf the deep-badge listings are the single pieces and the shallow-badge ones are the multipacks, which cost 43% less per garment - the filter points away from the arithmetic. Second: divide by the pack count, because that is where the money is. An eight-pack here gets a brief to Rs. 27.38 against a Rs. 322 median for a single garment. Third: check the ladder inside the brand rather than assuming the biggest pack wins - XYXX's pack of two beats its pack of five by fifteen percent a brief. Fourth: remember there is no evidence here at all. AJIO published no rating on any of the 197 listings we read, the same absence we found across its sock shelf, so the 10-day return window is doing the work a review section does elsewhere.

Innerwear is the shelf where the pack count moves the most money, and AJIO sells it in packs of two, three, four, six and eight. Every card here states the pack price, the count in the title and what one piece costs. Across the 197 listings we read, one garment ranges from Rs. 27.38 to Rs. 3,777 — a 138x spread that no single price band could describe.
This is the finding the page exists for. The 50 multipack listings carry a median badge of 36% off and work out at a median Rs. 183 a piece. The 147 single listings carry a median badge of 56% off and work out at Rs. 322 a piece. The shallower-badge group is 43% cheaper per garment. Sorting this shelf by discount actively points away from the better arithmetic.
“Buy the biggest pack” fails here. XYXX's pack of two works out at Rs. 199 a brief, its pack of three at Rs. 206.67 and its pack of five at Rs. 229.60 — the largest pack is the dearest per piece, by fifteen percent over the smallest. We seat the rungs next to each other so the shape is visible rather than assumed.
Not one of the 197 listings carried a rating or a review count. That is AJIO's own behaviour on this shelf rather than anything missing from our read, and it changes what a page like this can honestly do: there is no evidence signal to weigh against price, so every card below is a price observation and nothing more. Where we call something “best” we mean cheapest per piece, and we say so.
“Seamless”, “micro modal”, “high-rise” and “cotton” are words in the product titles, quoted as printed. Fabric content, fit, sizing accuracy and how a garment survives twenty washes are exactly the things that matter in innerwear and exactly the things a listing page cannot settle — particularly at Rs. 27 a piece. Read AJIO's 10-day return window as part of the price.
Substantially, yes — and the discount badge hides it. In this read of 197 listings, the 50 multipacks worked out at a median Rs. 183 a garment while the 147 single listings worked out at Rs. 322, so the packs are about 43% cheaper per piece. The catch is that the packs carry shallower badges: a median 36% off against 56% for the singles. A shopper filtering for the deepest discounts is therefore filtering out the cheaper option. One qualification: the pack must be one you will use, and pack sizes here run to six and eight pieces.
The lowest per-garment rate in this read was Rs. 27.38 — an eight-pack of high-rise seamless briefs at Rs. 219, 77% off a stated Rs. 960. The lowest sticker price was Rs. 80, for a single cotton bra and panty set at a 93% badge, and the lowest multipack sticker was Rs. 109 for three hipsters. Below about Rs. 40 a piece the rate flattens out: seven listings in this read sit between Rs. 27.38 and Rs. 40 a garment across pack sizes of three to eight, so the choice there is how many you want rather than a better rate. Prices change daily.
Because AJIO does not publish them on this shelf. All 197 listings in this read carried no rating and no review count — that is AJIO's own behaviour rather than a gap in our reading, and we have found the same absence on its sock shelf. The practical consequence is that price is the only comparable signal a listing offers, which is why every card on this page is a price observation and nothing more. It also raises the value of the returns policy: AJIO's stated window is 10 days, and on innerwear the returnable status of a specific item is worth checking on the product page before ordering.
The selling price is real; the percentage describes a stated MRP that the seller sets. This read found three separate listings selling at exactly Rs. 120 while claiming MRPs of Rs. 785, Rs. 934 and Rs. 1,461 — badges of 85%, 87% and 92% on one identical price. The deepest badge in the whole read, 93%, sat on a Rs. 80 set claiming a Rs. 1,145 MRP. A seller is entitled to display its own list price and nothing here alleges otherwise, but the pattern across the shelf is clear: the badge varies with the MRP far more than with what you pay, so compare the rupee figures.
No. The clearest counter-example in this read is XYXX: its pack of two works out at Rs. 199 a brief, its pack of three at Rs. 206.67 and its pack of five at Rs. 229.60, so the largest pack is about fifteen percent dearer per garment than the smallest. Nor does the badge flag it — the pack of three carries a deeper 39% discount than the pack of two's 26% and still costs more per brief. At the budget end of the shelf the rates converge around Rs. 36 a piece regardless of pack size. The only reliable method is dividing each listing yourself.
