Four Body Shop body butters cost the same Rs. 848. Four Wanderlust ones cost the same Rs. 385. Every Plum tub is marked down exactly ten per cent — and nothing on this shelf is marked down more than fifty.
We read Nykaa's own body butter, body wash and hair mask listings on 6 November 2026 and found the price set by the brand rather than the product. All four The Body Shop body butters cost exactly Rs. 848; all four Nykaa Wanderlust ones cost exactly Rs. 385. Every Plum tub is badged exactly 10% and nothing in the whole read is badged above 50%.
Every price below was pulled from Nykaa on November 6, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Nykaa coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Nykaa runs card offers, coupon codes, free-gift thresholds and app-only promotions that change by day and by basket, and this read was made logged out, so no promotion is included in any price here. Ignore the badge and compare the money — on this shelf a Rs. 110 shower gel and a Rs. 848 body butter carry the same 50%. Within a range, compare rating counts, because the prices will be identical: four Body Shop scents at Rs. 848 carry 710 to 5,476 ratings. Distrust any six- or seven-figure count under a single scent — two Wanderlust tubs share 136,417 and one shower gel publishes over a million. Check the pack size before the price, because one Dove hair mask appears here at Rs. 487 and Rs. 199 with one shared review pool. And read the ingredient list yourself and patch-test — nothing on this page was opened or applied, and none of it is dermatological advice.

Each selling price, stated MRP, badge, star average and rating count was read from nykaa.com's own product API on 6 November 2026, logged out, from India, across the queries "body butter", "foot cream", "lip scrub", "shower gel" and "hair mask", with nothing bought. 54 rows were returned; 21 are seated. Medians, ranges and brand counts are computed over the full 54 unless the text names the seated 21.
This page claims Nykaa's badges sit on a five-point grid capped at 50%, and that is a counted claim. Across all 54 rows the badge runs 5% to exactly 50%, median 24%, and 48 of the 54 land on a multiple of five. Only six rows fall off it, at 7%, 13%, 14%, 23% and 33%. Seven rows badge exactly 50%, seven exactly 10% and five exactly 5%.
Four Body Shop body butters at Rs. 848, four Wanderlust at Rs. 385, three Plum at 10% and two Bare Bar at Rs. 261 are all seated rather than deduplicated, because the repetition is the finding. Most price roundups keep one jar per brand, which makes a shelf look more varied than it is.
Two Wanderlust scents publish the identical 136,417 ratings; two sizes of one Dove hair mask publish the identical 53,545; and a Wanderlust shower gel publishes 1,032,841. Wherever a count is pooled or implausible as a per-product tally, this page says so on the row itself, because a six- or seven-figure number under a Rs. 385 jar reads as evidence when it is not.
This is a price and listing read and nothing else. Texture, fragrance, absorption, greasiness, how long any moisturising claim holds, and suitability for any skin or hair type are not assessed anywhere on this page, and "72 hours", "96H nourishing moisture", "deep repair" and "barrier repair" are the brands' own printed words. Nothing here is medical, dermatological or cosmetic advice; patch-test and read the ingredient list yourself.
On a read of Nykaa's own product data on 6 November 2026 across body butter, body wash and hair mask queries, the 54 rows returned ran from Rs. 110 to Rs. 4,050, with a median of Rs. 431. Body butters specifically clustered tightly: The Body Shop's four scents at Rs. 848, Nykaa's own Wanderlust at Rs. 385, Plum at Rs. 495 and Rs. 504, The Bare Bar at Rs. 261 and MCaffeine at Rs. 284 and Rs. 552. Those are Nykaa's own published figures, read logged out from India, with nothing bought. Nykaa reprices with its own promotions and these were not re-checked after the read.
On this read they did not: across all 54 rows the deepest badge was exactly 50%, and the median was 24%. The badges also sit on a five-point grid — 48 of the 54 land on a multiple of five, with only 7%, 13%, 14%, 23% and 33% falling off it. And whole brands hold one number: every Plum body butter badged exactly 10%, both Bare Bar tubs exactly 5%, all four Body Shop tubs exactly 50% and all four Wanderlust tubs exactly 30%. That is a rate being chosen first and a price derived from it — the clearest proof is a Plum tub whose stated MRP is Rs. 560 rather than Rs. 550 and whose badge still lands on exactly 10%. This describes one day's read of one set of shelves, not a published policy.
Because Nykaa shows one rating pool across more than one listing. This read found it twice: the Wanderlust Japanese Cherry Blossom and French Lavender body butters both publish the identical 136,417 ratings and 4.4 stars, and two sizes of the Dove 10-in-1 hair mask at Rs. 487 and Rs. 199 both publish the identical 53,545. A third figure makes the point by itself: the Wanderlust Perfume Shower Gel at Rs. 324 publishes 1,032,841 ratings, which cannot be a tally of people who rated that one bottle. The practical check is to look for the same count on a nearby listing before trusting it, and to be suspicious of any six- or seven-figure count under a single scent.
Setting aside the pooled and range-wide counts, the largest independent rating pools in this read were 23,375 on an MCaffeine Choco & Shea body butter at Rs. 552, 11,375 on a CeraVe moisturiser at Rs. 1,784, 6,890 on a Himalaya Rich Cocoa Butter body cream at Rs. 211, and 5,476 on The Body Shop British Rose at Rs. 848. That Body Shop figure matters because its three stablemates cost exactly the same and carry 1,810, 858 and 710 — so at an identical price it is the one with the most published evidence. At the other end, the dearest row in the read, a Rs. 4,050 Olaplex mask, carries 25 ratings. A rating count says how many people rated something, not whether it suits your skin, which was not assessed.
The badge cannot answer that, because on this shelf it reports the brand's discount rate rather than your saving. Setting a reference price above the selling price is an ordinary retail practice and nothing here alleges that any stated MRP is false. A Fiama shower gel at Rs. 110 and a Body Shop tub at Rs. 848 both badge 50%; an MCaffeine tub at Rs. 284 and an Olaplex mask at Rs. 4,050 badge 5% and 10%. Compare the money and the rating count, and ignore the percentage entirely. This page cannot tell you which product is better: nothing on it was opened, applied or smelled, and texture, fragrance, absorption and suitability for any skin type are not assessed anywhere here. Nothing on this page is medical, dermatological or cosmetic advice — read the ingredient list and patch-test.
