We read sixty-six rainwear listings on myntra.com on 10 September 2026, and almost every discount on the shelf turns out to be a brand-wide setting rather than a markdown. Rocksport is nineteen of those sixty-six and every one states the same Rs. 1,199 MRP while selling at eight different prices, so its badges span 34% to 49% for one jacket family. Wildcraft's six listings are all exactly 45% off. Sincerity's five are all exactly 55%. When a brand's badge never moves, the badge is a marketing setting rather than a markdown, and the only number that tells you anything is the rupee price.
We name the brands that refuse to discount at all
Decathlon's five rainwear listings run 0%, 12%, 18%, 18% and 40% off, and the 0% one — a Rs. 949 Quechua half-zip whose MRP equals its selling price — carries the highest star average on the shelf at 4.8. LUX VENUS sits at 15% to 19% across four listings. These are the two brands here whose prices mean what they say, and they are also the two you will never find at the top of a sort-by-discount page. We treat the rating count as the product family's, not the garment's

Is waterproof the same as water resistant on these listings?
No, and this shelf uses both terms on garments a couple of hundred rupees apart. Water resistant means the fabric sheds light rain and spray for a while; waterproof claims it holds out sustained rain.
