Nine hundred and ninety-nine rupees buys a ballerina on Myntra with a 0% discount badge, and it buys a different ballerina with a 71% one. The money is the same. Only the number each seller measured against is different.
We read 65 listings on 20 October 2026. The median pair cost Rs. 595, just over half the shelf sold under Rs. 700, two listings in five published no rating at all, and fifteen stated MRPs were carrying all sixty-five tiles.

Read the same day: myntra.com's /women-ballerinas (two pages) and /women-flats listing pages via a window.__myx parse, logged out, from India, with nothing purchased and Myntra not contacted; 65 distinct listings captured. Recorded from this read: prices from Rs. 349 to Rs. 1,099 with a median of Rs. 595 and 37 of 65 at or under Rs. 700; badges from 0% to 87% with a median of 71%; only 15 distinct stated MRPs across the 65 listings, with Rs. 2,699 appearing 13 times, Rs. 2,499 twelve, Rs. 999 eleven and Rs. 1,999 eleven; four Bata listings, two at Rs. 999 against a stated Rs. 999 for a 0% badge and two at Rs. 799 against Rs. 999 for 20%; a DEAS listing at the same Rs. 999 printing 71% off a stated Rs. 3,499 with no rating published; 26 of the 65 listings publishing neither a star average nor a review count; DressBerry, Myntra's own label, accounting for 24 of the 65 with 18 of them unrated, including ten at exactly Rs. 791 against a stated Rs. 2,699 (71%) and seven at exactly Rs. 479 against a stated Rs. 999 (52%), all seventeen with zero ratings; Lavie's "Slip-On" and "Textured" ballerinas both at Rs. 731 and both carrying 5,972 ratings, with TRASE repeating 6,745 and Denill 2,166 across two listings each; and the cheapest listing a Denill velvet open toe flat at Rs. 349 printing 86% off a stated Rs. 2,499 with 10,937 ratings. Shelf contamination flagged: the /women-flats path returns party sandals and mojaris alongside ballerinas, including the ten Rs. 791 DressBerry listings described as "Party Comfort Sandals". Nothing was worn or sized. Coverage checked before writing: no ballerina page existed; blog 1435 (Myntra heels and flats under Rs. 1,500, September) covers a different cut of this aisle and is not revisited.
Rs. 999 with a 0% badge, and Rs. 999 with a 71% badge
We read Myntra's own ballerina and women's flats listing pages on 20 October 2026 — 65 distinct listings, logged out, from India, nothing purchased.
Bata sells two ballerinas at Rs. 999 against a stated MRP of Rs. 999, so the tile reads 0% off. On the same shelf a DEAS listing also costs exactly Rs. 999 and prints 71% off a stated Rs. 3,499.
Identical money, seventy-one points of badge. The shelf median badge is 71% and Bata — the one high-street shoe brand here — prints 0% and 20%. That is not a worse deal; it is the more candid display.

| Cheapest listing | Rs. 349 | A Denill velvet open toe flat, 86% off a stated Rs. 2,499 |
This is a cheap aisle that looks expensive on paper. The median listing costs Rs. 595 and just over half the shelf sells at or under Rs. 700 — but the stated MRPs behind those prices run to Rs. 3,499, and there are only 15 distinct stated MRPs carrying all 65 listings.
Two listings in five publish no rating at all. That is high even by Myntra's standards and it concentrates in one place, which the next section sets out.
Myntra's own label is a third of the shelf, on two price points
| DressBerry listing | Price | Stated MRP | Badge | Ratings | How many |
|---|
| DressBerry party comfort sandals | Rs. 791 | Rs. 2,699 | 71% | 0 | 10 listings |
| DressBerry textured / striped slip-on ballerinas | Rs. 479 | Rs. 999 | 52% | 0 | 7 listings |
| DressBerry women's pointed toe ballerinas | Rs. 536 | Rs. 2,699 | 80% | 4,215 | 1 |
| DressBerry women's textured pointed toe ballerinas | Rs. 556 | Rs. 2,699 | 79% | 686 | 1 |
| DressBerry women's flats | Rs. 387 | Rs. 1,499 | 74% | 641 | 1 |
| DressBerry embellished ballerinas | Rs. 869 | Rs. 3,499 | 75% | 0 | 1 |
Ten DressBerry listings sell at exactly Rs. 791 against a stated Rs. 2,699, all printing 71%, every one of them with zero ratings. Seven more sit at exactly Rs. 479 against a stated Rs. 999, all at 52%, again all unrated. Seventeen of the label's 24 listings occupy two price points.
These are in all likelihood colour and pattern variants listed individually, which is ordinary retail and not something we are criticising. The consequence for a shopper is about reading a results page: a shelf that looks like 65 choices is nearer 48, and the apparent abundance at Rs. 791 is one product.
One honest caveat about the shelf itself. Myntra's /women-flats path returns party sandals and mojaris alongside ballerinas — those ten Rs. 791 listings are described as "Party Comfort Sandals". We have counted them because they were on the shelf we read, and flagged them rather than passing them off as ballerinas.
The cheap end, and what it is measured against
| Listing | Price | Stated MRP | Badge | Ratings |
|---|
| Denill women's printed velvet open toe flats | Rs. 349 | Rs. 2,499 | 86% | 10,937 |
| Denill women's T-strap flats | Rs. 389 | Rs. 2,999 | 87% | 1,115 |
| TRYME women's party mules flats | Rs. 389 | Rs. 1,999 | 81% | 0 |
| Retro Walk ballerinas with buckles | Rs. 395 | Rs. 1,999 | 80% | 6 |
| Denill pointed toe ballerinas | Rs. 424 | Rs. 2,499 | 83% | 2,166 |
| Shoetopia open toe gladiator flats | Rs. 439 | Rs. 1,999 | 78% | 632 |
| Denill round toe slip-on ballerinas | Rs. 449 | Rs. 2,999 | 85% | 522 |
| El Paso buckles open toe flats | Rs. 492 | Rs. 2,899 | 83% | 20,380 |
| Anouk embroidered mojaris | Rs. 499 | Rs. 1,999 | 75% | 4,140 |
| Mast & Harbour women's ballerinas with bows | Rs. 552 | Rs. 2,699 | 80% | 1,897 |
Every badge in that table is arithmetic against a number nobody was being asked to pay. The Denill T-strap flat prints the biggest discount on the shelf, 87%, against a stated Rs. 2,999 — and costs Rs. 389. The Bata pair at Rs. 799 prints 20%. The Bata pair is Rs. 410 dearer and that, not the badge, is the decision in front of you.
Two listings here are worth a second look for a different reason. The Denill velvet flat at Rs. 349 carries 10,937 ratings and the El Paso at Rs. 492 carries 20,380 — unusually deep review pools for a shelf where 40% of listings have none at all.
Three rating pools, six listings
| Listing | Price | Stated MRP | Badge | Ratings |
|---|
| Lavie women's slip-on ballerinas | Rs. 731 | Rs. 2,999 | 76% | 5,972 |
| Lavie women's textured ballerinas | Rs. 731 | Rs. 2,999 | 76% | 5,972 |
| TRASE strappy open toe flats with bows | Rs. 624 | Rs. 2,499 | 75% | 6,745 |
| TRASE strappy open toe flats with bows | Rs. 624 | Rs. 2,499 | 75% | 6,745 |
| Denill pointed toe ballerinas | Rs. 424 | Rs. 2,499 | 83% | 2,166 |
| Denill pointed toe ballerinas | Rs. 424 | Rs. 2,499 | 83% | 2,166 |
Lavie's two entries are listed as different models — "Slip-On" and "Textured" — sell at the same Rs. 731 and carry the same 5,972 ratings. TRASE and Denill each repeat a pool across two listings too.
This is ordinary variant handling and we allege nothing by it. It simply means that on this shelf a reassuringly large review count can belong to a family of finishes rather than to the exact pair you are about to buy. Open the reviews if the number is doing the deciding.
What this page does not tell you
This is a price read, not a product review. Nothing was worn, walked in, flexed or sized. "Textured", "Embellished", "Suede", "Comfort" and "Party" above are the listings' own printed descriptions, reproduced and not verified, and we make no claim about fit, sole, stitching or durability on any product named — including the ones we quote as good value.
Nor does it tell you today's price. Every figure here was returned by Myntra on 20 October 2026. Check the live listing before buying, rank by the rupee figure rather than the badge, and on the 40% of this shelf with no rating at all, give the photograph the attention the stars would otherwise have had.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do ballerinas cost on Myntra?
Most of this shelf is under Rs. 700. Across the 65 listings we read on 20 October 2026, prices ran from Rs. 349 to Rs. 1,099 with a median of Rs. 595, and 37 of the 65 sold at or under Rs. 700. The cheap end is marketplace labels — Denill at Rs. 349, TRYME at Rs. 389, Retro Walk at Rs. 395. The recognised names sit at the top: max at Rs. 549, Ginger by Lifestyle at Rs. 779, Bata at Rs. 799 to Rs. 999, H&M at Rs. 1,099. We did not wear, flex or size any of them — this is what the listings charged, not a judgement on what they are like on your feet.
Why does Bata show 0% off when everything else shows 71%?
Because Bata's stated maximum retail price is what Bata actually charges. Two Bata ballerina listings sell at Rs. 999 against a stated MRP of Rs. 999 — nothing to discount from, so the badge reads 0% — and two more sell at Rs. 799 against Rs. 999, which is 20%. The shelf median badge is 71%. The comparison that matters is on the same shelf: a DEAS listing also costs exactly Rs. 999, and prints 71% off a stated Rs. 3,499 while publishing no rating at all. Same money. Seventy-one points of badge between them. No stated MRP here is being called false and no wrongdoing is alleged — a brand that stocks physical shops simply tends to price near its list price. It is the clearest proof on the page that the percentage is not a measure of what you get.
Why do so many of these listings have no rating?
We can only report that they do. Twenty-six of the 65 listings — 40%, two in five — publish neither a star average nor a review count. Most of them belong to Myntra's own label: 18 of DressBerry's 24 listings are unrated, including all ten at Rs. 791 and all seven at Rs. 479. The ordinary explanation is that these are newer listings that have not accumulated reviews yet, and we are not suggesting anything improper. The practical consequence is what counts: on two listings in five there is no second number to break a tie, so the price and the photograph are all you have — and on this shelf the prices bunch hard on a handful of points.
Is the Rs. 349 pair with 86% off the best buy here?
It is the cheapest, and it is unusually well reviewed for this shelf — 10,937 ratings on the Denill velvet open toe flat. Whether it is the best buy is not something a price read can tell you: we did not handle it, and a shoe is mostly fit, sole and stitching, none of which appears on a listing page. What we would say is that the 86% badge is not the reason to consider it. That figure is arithmetic against a stated Rs. 2,499 that nobody was being asked to pay; the Rs. 349 is the real information. By the same logic the Bata pair at Rs. 799 with a 20% badge is not a worse deal than a Rs. 999 pair with a 71% badge — it is Rs. 200 cheaper.
Two Lavie ballerinas show the same 5,972 ratings. Are they the same shoe?
They are listed as different models and share one review pool. Lavie's "Slip-On Ballerinas" and "Textured Ballerinas" both sell at Rs. 731 and both carry exactly 5,972 ratings. TRASE shows 6,745 on two listings and Denill 2,166 on two. This is in all likelihood ordinary variant handling — a marketplace pooling reviews across colours or finishes of one style — and it is not a defect or anything we allege wrongdoing about. It does mean a rating count is not always a count of people who bought the exact pair in front of you. If the number is doing the work in your decision, open the reviews and see which variant they describe.

Zoutons earns affiliate commission on some links on this page. It costs you nothing and it does not decide what we write. Every price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count above was returned by myntra.com's own listing pages on 20 October 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing purchased. This is a price read, not a product review. Nothing was worn, walked in, flexed or sized — "Textured", "Embellished", "Suede", "Comfort" and "Party" are the listings' own printed descriptions, reproduced here and not independently verified, and we make no claim about fit, sole, stitching or durability on any product named, including those we quote as inexpensive. NO STATED MRP IS CALLED FALSE AND NO WRONGDOING BY ANY BRAND, SELLER OR BY MYNTRA IS ALLEGED. A maximum retail price is a maximum a brand is entitled to set; a brand printing a small badge is in all likelihood simply pricing near its list price, and listings sharing a price, a stated MRP or a rating pool are in all likelihood ordinary colour and pattern variants listed individually. The absence of a rating is reported as a fact about the page, not a judgement on the product — newer listings simply may not have accumulated reviews. We also flag that the /women-flats path returned party sandals and mojaris alongside ballerinas rather than counting them silently. What Myntra publishes at the time you buy prevails over anything here.
