Libas' entire shipping policy is three questions long, and it still commits to harder numbers than most longer ones do. Prepaid shipping is free, with no minimum order value stated anywhere. Cash on delivery costs Rs. 69. Five courier partners are named. And the turnaround is a single figure, not a range: "Product is dispatched within 24 working hours from the time order is placed and post dispatch, the delivery timeline is 3 to 4 working days."

Read the word "working" twice — it appears in both halves, and with Diwali on 6 November it is the difference between an outfit arriving in time and arriving after. Below: every commitment in the document, the sentence that qualifies the delivery window, what the page leaves to other pages, and the counterfeit notice printed beside it. 📅 Update log:
10 October 2026 — First publication. Libas' shipping policy read in full from libas.in/policies/shipping-policy: the WHAT IS THE SHIPPING POLICY WITHIN INDIA answer covering free prepaid shipping, the Rs. 69 cash-on-delivery charge, the five named courier companies Ecom, Delhivery, Shadowfax, Xpressbees and Shiprocket, the completely-insured statement and the COD call-before-delivery note; the CAN WE RESCHEDULE THE DELIVERY DATE answer covering redelivery and collection from the courier's location; the exclusion of responsibility for courier delays and for customer unavailability at delivery; and the WHAT IS THE SHIPPING TURNAROUND TIME answer giving 24 working hours to dispatch and 3 to 4 working days to deliver. The Disclaimer naming www.libas.in and www.shoplibas.com as the only official websites was read from the same page. Policy verified 10 October 2026.

The entire policy is three questions long

Libas' shipping policy is one of the shortest we have read on an Indian D2C site. It answers three questions and stops. Here is the first, in full:

"WHAT IS THE SHIPPING POLICY WITHIN INDIA? Shipping on prepaid order are free and cod will be chargeable 69, we use reliable courier companies like Ecom, Delhivery, Shadowfax, Xpressbees and Shiprocket to ship the products which are completely insured. Generally for Cash On Delivery orders, the courier company calls you before delivery."

Unpack it and there are five separate commitments in one sentence. Prepaid shipping is free — with no order-value threshold attached, which is worth noting because most brands set one. Cash on delivery costs Rs. 69, stated as a flat figure rather than a percentage. Five courier partners are named: Ecom, Delhivery, Shadowfax, Xpressbees and Shiprocket. The parcels are described as "completely insured". And COD orders get a call before delivery.

Naming the couriers is more useful than it looks. It tells you which tracking app your parcel will appear in, and it tells you whose customer service to chase if the parcel stalls — which, given the liability clause further down this page, is the number you will actually need.

Twenty-four working hours to dispatch

The third question carries the sharpest number on the page: "WHAT IS THE SHIPPING TURNAROUND TIME? Product is dispatched within 24 working hours from the time order is placed and post dispatch, the delivery timeline is 3 to 4 working days."

Twenty-four working hours is a firm dispatch commitment, and most D2C shipping pages do not make one. They give a range — one to three business days, two to five — or they describe dispatch as happening "promptly" and leave it there. A single number is something a customer can hold a brand to.

Read the word "working" twice, though, because it appears in both halves and it is doing a great deal. An order placed on a Friday evening does not have 24 working hours elapse until some point on Monday; add three to four further working days and the same order can legitimately arrive the following Thursday or Friday without the policy having been missed. The stated window is honest; it is simply not a calendar window, and the page does not convert it into one.

For a Diwali order this is the arithmetic that matters. With the festival on 6 November 2026, an outfit ordered in the last week of October has room inside this timeline; one ordered in the first days of November, on the policy's own numbers, does not reliably. The policy states no festive or sale-period exception at all, which cuts both ways — no carve-out is claimed, but no surge allowance is admitted either.

The sentence that qualifies the three-to-four days

Directly after the rescheduling answer comes the liability line, and it applies to the delivery window as much as to anything else: "We shall not be responsible for any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier companies in delivering the parcels to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery."

That is ordinary drafting and every retailer in the country has a version of it. A brand cannot control a courier's network, a flooded road or a missed doorstep. It is worth reading next to the 3-to-4-day commitment only so the two are understood together: the window describes the intention, and the courier's performance is explicitly outside what Libas accepts responsibility for. This is precisely why naming the five couriers in the first answer is a useful thing for the policy to have done.

The rescheduling answer itself is practical and puts the work on the customer: "In case you are not available during delivery, you could call them back and arrange for redelivery or you can pick it up from their location." "Them" is the courier, not Libas — the policy routes a missed delivery straight to the carrier, which is faster than going through a brand's support queue, and is another reason to know which of the five has your parcel.

What the policy leaves to other pages

The brevity has a cost, and it is concentrated in what goes wrong. There is no clause here about a parcel that is lost, a parcel that arrives damaged, or an order that ships in two pieces. There is no serviceability statement — nothing says what happens if your pincode is not covered, which on an ethnic-wear brand shipping nationally is a real question. There is no tracking description and no mention of international delivery.

That does not mean Libas has no rules on these things; it means they are not in this document. The brand publishes separate return and refund pages, and we have read those separately in Libas' return and refund rules and its terms and conditions, where the COD refund route is set out.

The practical consequence of the split is the same one we keep finding on D2C sites: the page called "Shipping policy" answers how fast a parcel should arrive, and the pages that answer what happens when it does not are somewhere else.

The counterfeit notice is worth two minutes

Printed on the same page, under "Disclaimer": "www.libas.in, www.shoplibas.com are the only official website of Libas. Any other website, brand, or entity using a similar name, logo, or identity is not associated with, authorised by, or affiliated with Libas. Customers are advised not to engage with or make purchases through such websites."

Naming the two legitimate domains is more useful than a general warning about fakes, because it gives a shopper something to check rather than something to worry about. Festive season is when lookalike ethnic-wear storefronts multiply on social advertising, and a brand stating its own domains in writing is the simplest defence available.

Nothing on this page is legal advice. Shipping terms change without notice and the policy published on libas.in at the time you order prevails over anything written here; the figures above were read on 10 October 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is shipping free on Libas?
On prepaid orders, yes. The shipping policy read on 10 October 2026 states "Shipping on prepaid order are free and cod will be chargeable 69". No minimum order value is attached to the free prepaid shipping, which is unusual — most D2C brands set a threshold — and none appears anywhere in the document. Cash on delivery costs Rs. 69, stated as a flat figure rather than a percentage of the order. Shipping terms change without notice; the policy on libas.in at the time you order prevails.
How long does Libas take to deliver?
The policy gives two numbers: "Product is dispatched within 24 working hours from the time order is placed and post dispatch, the delivery timeline is 3 to 4 working days." Read "working" carefully, because it qualifies both halves. An order placed on a Friday evening does not clear 24 working hours until Monday, and three to four further working days from there can reach the following Thursday or Friday without the stated window being missed. The policy also excludes responsibility for "any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier companies", so the window describes the intention rather than a guarantee.
How much is Libas COD charge?
Rs. 69, per the shipping policy's own wording: "cod will be chargeable 69". The policy adds a practical note for COD buyers: "Generally for Cash On Delivery orders, the courier company calls you before delivery." Prepaid orders ship free with no stated minimum, so on the policy's own numbers paying upfront saves Rs. 69 on any order of any size. How a COD order is refunded is set out on Libas' separate terms and refund pages rather than in the shipping policy.
Which courier does Libas use?
The policy names five: "we use reliable courier companies like Ecom, Delhivery, Shadowfax, Xpressbees and Shiprocket to ship the products which are completely insured." Knowing this matters more than it might seem, because the same page routes a missed delivery straight to the carrier rather than to Libas — "In case you are not available during delivery, you could call them back and arrange for redelivery or you can pick it up from their location" — and excludes Libas' responsibility for courier delays. If a parcel stalls, the courier's tracking and support line is the first place the policy itself points you.
Will a Libas order arrive in time for Diwali 2026?
Diwali falls on 6 November 2026. On the policy's own stated timeline — 24 working hours to dispatch plus 3 to 4 working days to deliver — an order placed in the last week of October has room, and one placed in the first days of November does not reliably, because both figures are counted in working units rather than calendar days. The policy states no festive-season or sale-period exception at all, so no extra allowance is claimed and none is promised; it also excludes responsibility for courier delays, which are likeliest in exactly that week. This page is describing a published policy, not predicting any particular delivery.

Quotations are reproduced verbatim from Libas' own page, including its own spelling, grammar, capitalisation and punctuation — the wording "Shipping on prepaid order are free and cod will be chargeable 69" is the source page's — and any apparent error inside a quotation is the source page's rather than ours and is reproduced rather than corrected. Shipping terms change without notice, so the document described here may already differ from the one that applies to your order; the policy shown on libas.in at the time you order prevails over anything on this page, as do the return, refund and cancellation rules published on Libas' own separate policy pages. This page describes a published shipping policy. It does not assess, and expresses no view on, whether that policy or any clause in it is valid, binding, fair or enforceable, whether an exclusion of liability for courier delay would be upheld, or whether the document complies with the Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, the Indian Contract Act or any rules made under them, all of which are matters for a court, a consumer forum or a regulator and not for a shopping page; nothing on this page is legal, contractual or regulatory advice or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. The observation that the stated dispatch and delivery times are counted in working rather than calendar units, and the worked example of a Friday order, describe the published wording and ordinary arithmetic only. They are not a prediction about any particular order, a statement that any order has been or would be delayed, a claim that Libas has failed to meet its stated timeline, or an assertion that any parcel will or will not arrive before any festival date. Delivery performance depends on the courier, the destination, order volumes and circumstances outside any retailer's control. Reporting that a published shipping policy does not address lost or damaged parcels, non-serviceable pincodes, order tracking, partial shipments, international delivery or festive-season delays is a description of what that document contains; it is not an allegation that no such rule, remedy or practice exists, that any customer has been denied a remedy, or that any statutory obligation or consumer right has gone unmet, and no unfair trade practice, unfair contract term, dark pattern, misleading advertising, deficiency in service or breach of any law, rule or guideline by Libas Lifestyle, Libas or any associated entity, officer or employee is alleged or implied. Nor does anything here allege or imply anything about the services, performance, reliability or practices of Ecom Express, Delhivery, Shadowfax, Xpressbees, Shiprocket or any other courier or logistics provider, which are named only because Libas' own policy names them; no statement here describes any courier's actual delivery performance. The description of parcels as "completely insured" reproduces the policy's own wording and is not a statement by us about the existence, scope, insurer or terms of any insurance cover, which the policy does not detail. The counterfeit-site disclaimer is reproduced from Libas' own page and nothing here identifies, describes or alleges anything about any specific other website or entity. No product is assessed, tested, compared or recommended on this page, no claim about any garment's fabric, fit, sizing or quality is made or endorsed, and no price, discount or offer is stated here other than the shipping and cash-on-delivery charges the policy itself states. Product photographs are the brand's own listing images and may be styled, retouched or model-worn; the products shown illustrate the kind of order this policy governs, are not offers, and their prices are not stated. Policies, charges and prices change without notice; those shown at your own checkout prevail over anything here.
