Hostinger's website builder sells for Rs. 149 a month in India. The same plan card also says "Get 48 months for Rs. 7,152", which is that monthly figure multiplied by 48 - and it is what you pay today, in one go.

All three plans work this way, and all three print a renewal rate roughly three times the intro. Here is what each tier costs now, what it costs from year five, and what the Rs. 100 a month between Premium and Unlimited actually buys.

28 Aug 2026 — first published. Every price, struck-through price, badge, 48-month total, stated regular price and renewal rate on this page was read from the plan cards on hostinger.com/in/website-builder on 28 August 2026, rendered from an Indian IP with no account logged in and no coupon applied. Feature lists, credit counts and support tiers are quoted from the same cards as printed. The multiples, second-term totals and eight-year figures are our arithmetic over Hostinger's own numbers and are labelled as such in the body. We did not reach a checkout screen, so any taxes added there are not reflected in any figure here. Hostinger runs near-continuous promotions on this storefront and the plan mix changes; we re-read the page and log any change to the three prices, the term length or the renewal rates.

Rs. 149 a month means Rs. 7,152 today

Hostinger's website builder page showed three plans on 28 August 2026: Premium at Rs. 149 a month, Unlimited at Rs. 249 and Cloud Startup at Rs. 599, each with a struck-through price beside it and a badge of 75, 64 and 65 per cent.

Underneath each of those monthly figures the same card prints the actual transaction. Premium: "Get 48 months for Rs. 7,152". That is Rs. 149 multiplied by 48, to the rupee. The monthly number is the four-year total divided by forty-eight months, and the four-year total is what leaves your account when you click through. There is no monthly billing option advertised at these prices.

That is not hidden - Hostinger prints it on the card - but it changes what the comparison is. You are not deciding whether Rs. 149 a month is affordable. You are deciding whether to spend Rs. 7,152, Rs. 11,952 or Rs. 28,752 today, against a 30-day money-back guarantee that the same page advertises.

Cloud StartupRs. 1,699Rs. 599/mo65%Rs. 28,752Rs. 1,599/mo
💡 Read the term line, not the monthly figure. Every price on this page is a 48-month commitment paid in advance. The Rs. 149 is arithmetic Hostinger has done for you; the Rs. 7,152 is the number your card is charged.

Year five costs three times year one

The renewal rate is printed on each card and it is the number most worth planning around. Premium renews at Rs. 449 a month against the Rs. 149 you pay now - a multiple of 3.01. Unlimited renews at Rs. 649 against Rs. 249, a multiple of 2.61. Cloud Startup renews at Rs. 1,599 against Rs. 599, a multiple of 2.67.

Carried across another 48 months, that is Rs. 21,552 for Premium, Rs. 31,152 for Unlimited and Rs. 76,752 for Cloud Startup. Which means the honest eight-year cost of the cheapest plan on this page is Rs. 28,704 - and that figure is within forty-eight rupees of the Rs. 28,752 Hostinger itself prints as Premium's "regular price" for the first term.

The practical consequence is the same one that applies to every hosting ladder: the introductory price is a customer-acquisition price and the renewal is the real one. If you intend to keep the site for a decade, budget the renewal rate. If you intend to test an idea for a year or two, the intro price is genuinely cheap and the 30-day money-back window is the thing to note in your calendar.

PlanFirst 48 monthsStated regular priceNext 48 months at renewalEight-year total
PremiumRs. 7,152Rs. 28,752Rs. 21,552Rs. 28,704
UnlimitedRs. 11,952Rs. 33,552Rs. 31,152Rs. 43,104
Cloud StartupRs. 28,752Rs. 81,552Rs. 76,752Rs. 105,504
One coincidence worth seeing. Premium's stated "regular price" for 48 months is Rs. 28,752 - which is exactly what Cloud Startup, the top plan on the page, costs today on its own offer. The middle of the ladder at list price and the top of the ladder on offer are the same money. That is arithmetic we did over Hostinger's own printed figures, not a claim about how it sets them.

What the extra Rs. 100 a month actually buys

The step from Premium to Unlimited is Rs. 100 a month, or Rs. 4,800 across the term, and the cards are specific about what it changes. Premium caps you at three websites and two mailboxes per site; Unlimited removes both caps. Premium gives 5 AI credits for website and app creation; Unlimited gives 15, plus 500 credits for AI agents. Unlimited also adds integrated ecommerce, email marketing through Hostinger's Reach product, and priority 24/7 support against Premium's chatbot-first support.

If you are building one portfolio, a resume site or a link-in-bio page - which is exactly what Hostinger's own Premium description lists - none of those additions do anything for you, and Premium at Rs. 7,152 for four years is the plan. The moment you want to sell something on the site, ecommerce is behind the Unlimited tier and the Rs. 4,800 becomes unavoidable rather than optional.

Cloud Startup at Rs. 599 a month adds performance and scale rather than features: the feature list is Unlimited's, with the AI agent credits doubled to 1,000. Its Rs. 28,752 up front is four times Premium, and unless you already know why you need the headroom, the page gives you no reason to buy it.

  • Our arithmetic. Monthly price x 48 reproduces each stated term total exactly (149x48=7,152; 249x48=11,952; 599x48=28,752), and struck price x 48 reproduces each stated regular price exactly (599x48=28,752; 699x48=33,552; 1,699x48=81,552). Renewal multiples are 3.01x, 2.61x and 2.67x. Second-term totals at the renewal rate over 48 months are Rs. 21,552, Rs. 31,152 and Rs. 76,752.
  • What we did not do. We did not buy a plan, log in, reach a checkout screen or test what an AI credit does. Taxes, if any are added at checkout, are not shown on the plan card and are not included in any figure here.

Who each plan is actually for

Buy Premium if you are putting up one site and want it to look professional: a portfolio, a resume, a small business page, a blog. Rs. 7,152 for four years including hosting and a domain for the first year is genuinely inexpensive for that, and the three-site cap will not bind you. Set a calendar reminder for the 30-day money-back window and another for month 47, because Rs. 449 a month arrives without warning.

Buy Unlimited if you are going to sell something. Ecommerce, unlimited mailboxes and the email marketing tool are all behind that tier, and Rs. 4,800 across four years is not much against the first thing you sell. The unlimited-websites part matters if you build sites for other people; if you do not, it is the ecommerce line you are paying for.

Skip Cloud Startup unless you can articulate the performance problem it solves. Its feature list is Unlimited's with the AI agent credits doubled, and it costs Rs. 28,752 up front - four times Premium and the same figure Hostinger prints as Premium's own regular price. A site that needs that headroom will usually tell you so before you need to guess.

The short version

Hostinger Website Builder showed three plans on 28 August 2026: Premium Rs. 149/mo, Unlimited Rs. 249/mo, Cloud Startup Rs. 599/mo - all of them 48-month terms paid up front, at Rs. 7,152, Rs. 11,952 and Rs. 28,752.

Renewal is roughly three times the intro on Premium (Rs. 449 against Rs. 149) and about 2.6 times on the other two, so the second four years cost Rs. 21,552, Rs. 31,152 and Rs. 76,752.

The Premium-to-Unlimited step is Rs. 100 a month and buys ecommerce, unlimited sites and mailboxes, email marketing and priority support. Cloud Startup adds performance and 1,000 AI agent credits for four times Premium's money.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Hostinger Website Builder cost in India?
Three plans were on the page on 28 August 2026: Premium at Rs. 149 a month, Unlimited at Rs. 249 and Cloud Startup at Rs. 599, each struck through from Rs. 599, Rs. 699 and Rs. 1,699 respectively. Those monthly figures are 48-month terms paid in advance - the same cards print "Get 48 months for Rs. 7,152", "Rs. 11,952" and "Rs. 28,752", which are exactly the monthly prices multiplied by 48. All three include hosting, a custom domain free for the first year, mailboxes free for the first year and 400+ templates. The page also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. Prices on this storefront change with the running promotion, so check the live plan card before you pay.
What does Hostinger Website Builder renew at?
Each plan card prints its own renewal rate, and they are substantially above the introductory price. Premium renews at Rs. 449 a month against the Rs. 149 you pay in the first term - just over three times. Unlimited renews at Rs. 649 against Rs. 249, and Cloud Startup at Rs. 1,599 against Rs. 599, both around 2.6 times. Carried over another 48 months, those rates come to Rs. 21,552, Rs. 31,152 and Rs. 76,752 - our arithmetic over Hostinger's own printed figures. The practical planning advice is to treat the first term as an introductory offer and the renewal rate as the real long-run cost of the plan, and to diarise the renewal date rather than discovering it.
Can you pay monthly instead of for 48 months?
Not at the prices shown on this page. Every plan card on the India website builder page on 28 August 2026 quoted a monthly figure and then stated the 48-month total underneath it, and the two match exactly - Rs. 149 x 48 = Rs. 7,152. Shorter terms are commonly available on hosting storefronts at higher monthly rates, but no shorter term was advertised on this page and we did not reach a checkout screen to check what options appear there. What the page does advertise alongside the prices is a 30-day money-back guarantee and cancel-anytime wording, so the practical risk on a four-year commitment is bounded by that window rather than by monthly billing.
Is Premium enough or do you need Unlimited?
Premium is enough for one site that does not sell anything. Hostinger's own description of it names portfolios, resumes, blogs and link-in-bio pages, and it allows up to three websites with two mailboxes each. What it does not list is ecommerce, email marketing or AI agent credits - those start at Unlimited, which costs Rs. 100 a month more, or Rs. 4,800 across the 48-month term. So the question is simply whether you will sell on the site. If yes, Unlimited is not optional and the extra is small. If no, the Rs. 4,800 buys you unlimited websites and mailboxes you are unlikely to use, plus priority support instead of chatbot-first support.
Is Hostinger Website Builder cheaper than GoDaddy's?
On the introductory monthly figure, yes at the entry level. GoDaddy's India website builder plans ran from Rs. 249 to Rs. 899 a month in our earlier read, against Hostinger's Rs. 149 to Rs. 599 here. But the two are not quoted on the same basis and that matters more than the headline: Hostinger's prices on this page are 48-month terms paid in advance, so Rs. 149 a month means Rs. 7,152 today. Comparing them properly means comparing the term total you pay now and the renewal rate you pay later, not the per-month figure on the card. Both storefronts run near-continuous promotions and both quote renewal rates well above the introductory price.
Prices & codes last verified: 28 August 2026
Every price, struck-through price, discount badge, term total, stated regular price and renewal rate on this page was read from the plan cards on hostinger.com/in/website-builder on 28 August 2026, rendered from an Indian IP with no account logged in, no coupon applied and no purchase made. We did not reach a checkout screen, so we cannot say what taxes or fees are added there, and no figure on this page includes them. Multiples, second-term costs and eight-year totals are our own arithmetic over Hostinger's printed numbers and are described as arithmetic in the body rather than as quoted prices. Hostinger runs near-continuous promotions on this storefront, prices differ by term length, country and the promotion running at the moment you look, and the plan mix itself changes - so this is one day's read and not a permanent price list. Feature lists, website and mailbox limits, AI credit counts, support tiers and the free-domain and free-mailbox periods are quoted from the plan cards as printed; we have not built a site, tested the editor, used an AI credit or contacted support, so nothing here is an assessment of the product's quality, performance or suitability. The 30-day money-back guarantee and cancel-anytime wording are Hostinger's own claims as printed on the page and their terms are set by Hostinger, not verified by us. Comparisons with GoDaddy refer to our own earlier reads of that storefront and the two are not quoted on identical billing terms, which is stated where the comparison is made. Zoutons may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page; it does not change what you pay, and nothing here was reviewed or approved by Hostinger.
