Hostinger's website builder page showed three plans on 28 August 2026: Premium at Rs. 149 a month, Unlimited at Rs. 249 and Cloud Startup at Rs. 599, each with a struck-through price beside it and a badge of 75, 64 and 65 per cent.
Underneath each of those monthly figures the same card prints the actual transaction. Premium: "Get 48 months for Rs. 7,152". That is Rs. 149 multiplied by 48, to the rupee. The monthly number is the four-year total divided by forty-eight months, and the four-year total is what leaves your account when you click through. There is no monthly billing option advertised at these prices.
That is not hidden - Hostinger prints it on the card - but it changes what the comparison is. You are not deciding whether Rs. 149 a month is affordable. You are deciding whether to spend Rs. 7,152, Rs. 11,952 or Rs. 28,752 today, against a 30-day money-back guarantee that the same page advertises.

₹ One coincidence worth seeing. Premium's stated "regular price" for 48 months is Rs. 28,752 - which is exactly what Cloud Startup, the top plan on the page, costs today on its own offer. The middle of the ladder at list price and the top of the ladder on offer are the same money. That is arithmetic we did over Hostinger's own printed figures, not a claim about how it sets them.
What the extra Rs. 100 a month actually buys
The step from Premium to Unlimited is Rs. 100 a month, or Rs. 4,800 across the term, and the cards are specific about what it changes. Premium caps you at three websites and two mailboxes per site; Unlimited removes both caps. Premium gives 5 AI credits for website and app creation; Unlimited gives 15, plus 500 credits for AI agents. Unlimited also adds integrated ecommerce, email marketing through Hostinger's Reach product, and priority 24/7 support against Premium's chatbot-first support.
If you are building one portfolio, a resume site or a link-in-bio page - which is exactly what Hostinger's own Premium description lists - none of those additions do anything for you, and Premium at Rs. 7,152 for four years is the plan. The moment you want to sell something on the site, ecommerce is behind the Unlimited tier and the Rs. 4,800 becomes unavoidable rather than optional.
Cloud Startup at Rs. 599 a month adds performance and scale rather than features: the feature list is Unlimited's, with the AI agent credits doubled to 1,000. Every plan card on the India website builder page on 28 August 2026 quoted a monthly figure and then stated the 48-month total underneath it, and the two match exactly - Rs. 149 x 48 = Rs. 7,152. Shorter terms are commonly available on hosting storefronts at higher monthly rates, but no shorter term was advertised on this page and we did not reach a checkout screen to check what options appear there. What the page does advertise alongside the prices is a 30-day money-back guarantee and cancel-anytime wording, so the practical risk on a four-year commitment is bounded by that window rather than by monthly billing.
Is Premium enough or do you need Unlimited?
Premium is enough for one site that does not sell anything. Hostinger's own description of it names portfolios, resumes, blogs and link-in-bio pages, and it allows up to three websites with two mailboxes each.
