Hostinger sells business email separately from hosting, and on 30 August 2026 its Indian page showed three plans at Rs. 29, Rs. 49 and Rs. 79 a month — every one of them a 48-month, per-mailbox rate.

The number that decides what it costs is not the struck list price but the renewal, printed under each plan: Rs. 69, Rs. 119 and Rs. 179. That is about 2.4 times what you pay in the first term.

Three plans, and the number that matters is the renewal

Hostinger sells business email — a mailbox on your own domain — separately from hosting, and on 30 August 2026 its Indian pricing page showed three plans. Each one quotes a monthly figure, but every figure on the page is a 48-month, per-mailbox rate, and each carries three different numbers: a promotional price, a struck list price and a renewal rate.

Starter is Rs. 29 a month against a struck Rs. 149, an 81 per cent badge, and renews at Rs. 69. Standard is Rs. 49 against Rs. 199, renewing at Rs. 119. Premium is Rs. 79 against Rs. 299, renewing at Rs. 179.

Read those three columns together and the struck price falls away as the least useful of them. Nobody pays Rs. 149 a month for Starter at any point: you pay Rs. 29 for four years, then Rs. 69. The list price exists to size the badge.

PremiumRs. 79/moRs. 299/mo74%Rs. 179/mo50 GB
💡 Every price on this page is per mailbox. Each plan includes one mailbox. A three-person team on Standard is three times Rs. 49, not Rs. 49 - which is the single easiest thing to misread on an email pricing page.

What four years actually costs, and what the next four cost

Because these are 48-month rates, the honest comparison is over the full term rather than per month. At the promotional rate, four years of Starter is Rs. 1,392 for one mailbox. The four years after that, at the Rs. 69 renewal rate, are Rs. 3,312.

The same multiple holds across the range: Standard goes from Rs. 2,352 to Rs. 5,712, and Premium from Rs. 3,792 to Rs. 8,592. Every plan renews at roughly 2.3 to 2.4 times what it costs you the first time.

That is not hidden — Hostinger prints the renewal rate directly under each price — but it is the number to budget against, because a business email address is not something you migrate away from casually. Changing provider means moving mail history and reconfiguring every device and integration that touches the address.

PlanFirst 48 months (one mailbox)Next 48 months at renewalRenewal multiple
StarterRs. 1,392Rs. 3,3122.4x
StandardRs. 2,352Rs. 5,7122.4x
PremiumRs. 3,792Rs. 8,5922.3x
Worked example. A three-person business on Standard pays 3 × Rs. 49 = Rs. 147 a month for four years, or Rs. 7,056 in total. At renewal that becomes 3 × Rs. 119 = Rs. 357 a month, or Rs. 17,136 for the following four years.

Storage is the real difference, and it gets cheaper as you go up

The three plans are separated mainly by mailbox storage: 5 GB on Starter, 20 GB on Standard and 50 GB on Premium. Priced per gigabyte, that runs in the buyer's favour as you move up the range — Rs. 5.80 per GB per month on Starter against Rs. 1.58 on Premium, a difference of nearly four times.

Whether that matters depends entirely on what you do with email. Five gigabytes is years of plain correspondence and a few months of an inbox that receives design files or photographs. If your business sends and receives attachments routinely, Starter is the plan you will outgrow, and moving up later is easier than moving provider.

Hostinger also lists feature differences: Starter includes five email aliases, while Standard and Premium add read receipts, automatic replies and AI-drafted replies. Those are the company's own descriptions of its plans, quoted as published; we have not tested any of the features.

How we read this, and what is not on this page

These figures were read from hostinger.com/in/business-email on 30 August 2026 as a logged-out visitor browsing from India, using a plain HTTP fetch rather than a browser session. Hostinger's pricing page defaults to the 48-month term, which is the term every figure on this page refers to; shorter terms are offered at checkout and carry different monthly rates, which we have not read here. All prices are per mailbox and exclude GST, which is added at checkout. We did not buy a plan, create a mailbox or test any feature, so nothing here reports deliverability, spam filtering, uptime, support quality or migration experience. We have also not compared these prices against Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, whose Indian pricing is structured differently and would need its own read.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Hostinger business email cost in India?
On 30 August 2026, Hostinger's Indian business email pricing showed three plans, all quoted per mailbox on a 48-month term. Starter was Rs. 29 a month against a struck list price of Rs. 149, an 81 per cent badge, with 5 GB of mailbox storage and five email aliases. Standard was Rs. 49 a month against Rs. 199, with 20 GB. Premium was Rs. 79 a month against Rs. 299, with 50 GB. Over the full four-year term that is Rs. 1,392, Rs. 2,352 and Rs. 3,792 respectively for a single mailbox. Prices exclude GST, and each plan includes one mailbox, so a team of three pays three times the monthly figure.
What does Hostinger business email renew at?
Hostinger prints the renewal rate under each plan, and it is substantially above the promotional rate: Starter renews at Rs. 69 a month, Standard at Rs. 119 and Premium at Rs. 179, all for the 48-month term. That works out to roughly 2.3 to 2.4 times the introductory price on every plan. In rupee terms, one Starter mailbox costs Rs. 1,392 for the first four years and Rs. 3,312 for the next four; Standard goes from Rs. 2,352 to Rs. 5,712. Note that even the renewal rate sits well below the struck list price, so that list figure is not a price paid at any stage of the cycle - it is the reference the discount badge is calculated against.
Which Hostinger email plan should a small business choose?
The decision is mostly about mailbox storage, because that is what separates the plans. Starter's 5 GB is comfortable for text correspondence and light attachments; it is the plan you will outgrow if your inbox routinely receives design files, photographs or video. Standard's 20 GB at Rs. 49 costs Rs. 2.45 per GB per month against Starter's Rs. 5.80, so moving up buys storage at less than half the unit rate, and it adds read receipts, automatic replies and AI-drafted replies in Hostinger's description. Premium's 50 GB at Rs. 79 is the cheapest per gigabyte at Rs. 1.58. Since every plan bills per mailbox, multiply by the number of people before comparing.
Is Hostinger business email included with a hosting plan?
It is priced separately on its own page, which is what this read covers. Hostinger's hosting plans are quoted on different pages with their own terms - on the same day, the cloud hosting page showed Cloud Startup at Rs. 599 a month, Cloud Professional at Rs. 899 and Cloud Enterprise at Rs. 1,899, all on 48-month terms. Whether any email allowance is bundled with a given hosting plan is stated on that plan's own page and can change, so check the plan you are actually buying rather than assuming. If you already host elsewhere, business email can be bought on its own and pointed at a domain you hold anywhere.
Are Hostinger's email prices per mailbox or per company?
Per mailbox, and Hostinger states this directly under each price: the note reads that the figure is the price per mailbox for the 48-month term, and each plan includes one mailbox. This is the most common misreading of email hosting pricing, because the monthly figures are small enough to look like a whole-company cost. A five-person business on the Rs. 49 Standard plan is committing to Rs. 245 a month during the promotional term and Rs. 595 a month after renewal. Work the number out for your headcount, over both the first term and the renewal, before comparing against any alternative.
Prices & codes last verified: 30 August 2026
Every plan name, promotional price, struck list price, discount percentage, renewal rate, storage figure and feature description on this page was read from hostinger.com/in/business-email on 30 August 2026, as displayed to a logged-out visitor browsing from India, and is reported as published. All figures are per mailbox and are quoted for the 48-month term the page selects by default; shorter terms are available at checkout at different monthly rates that are not covered here, and prices exclude GST, which is added at checkout. A struck list price is a reference figure Hostinger supplies and we have not verified that any plan was sold at one, so every percentage here is arithmetic over Hostinger's own two numbers rather than a measured saving. Four-year totals, renewal multiples and per-gigabyte costs are our own arithmetic over the published prices rather than figures Hostinger states. Feature descriptions such as read receipts, automatic replies and AI-drafted replies are Hostinger's own wording, quoted as published. We have not purchased a plan, created a mailbox, migrated a domain or tested any feature, so nothing here reports deliverability, spam filtering, uptime, support quality or migration experience, and no comparison against Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or any other provider is made or implied. Hosting prices mentioned for context were read from Hostinger's cloud hosting page on the same day and are subject to the same caveats. Hostinger reprices and reruns promotions frequently, so this is one day's read; the price at your checkout is the one that applies. Zoutons may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page; it does not change what you pay, and nothing here was reviewed or approved by Hostinger.
