An 82% badge and an empty review column turn out to be the same tile on this shelf - while Gillette, LetsShave and TOPAZ never once badge above 26%.
We read Flipkart's own shaver and blade results on 6 November 2026 and put the badge column next to the ratings column. The three deepest-badged electric shavers in the Rs. 876 to Rs. 996 band — 82%, 78% and 75% off stated list prices near Rs. 4,500 — have never been rated by anyone. Three rupees above them sits a groomer badged 60% with 6,554 ratings behind it.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on November 6, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Three electric shavers in one price band, stating list prices of Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 4,999, with no star average and no ratings published on any of them.
Rs. 996 — 3-in-1 rechargeable grooming kit, badged 78%
Why it earned its spot the clearest statement this shelf makes: the biggest claim and the emptiest review column on the same tile.

Why it earned its spot the second unrated tile in the same price band, with the same shape of claim.
Rs. 876 — rechargeable foil shaver, badged 82%
Why it earned its spot the largest stated MRP of any electric shaver in this read, on a tile with nothing published behind it.

Rs. 999 — 11-in-1 grooming kit, badged 60%
Why it earned its spot the best-evidenced thing at this price point, and Rs. 3 more than the unrated tile at the top.
Rs. 709 — single-blade body and beard trimmer, badged 53%
Why it earned its spot the cheapest tile here with a five-figure-adjacent review count behind it.

Why it earned its spot the cheapest tile on this page with a rating pool in the hundreds.
Rs. 280 — portable mini electric shaver, badged 79%
Why it earned its spot the mid-point of the cheap electric band, and the reviews thin out from here.
Rs. 199 — mini electric shaver, badged 80%
Why it earned its spot the cheapest electric shaver in the read, on thirteen reviews.

Rs. 250 — mini electric shaver, badged 75%
Why it earned its spot the most-rated shaver under Rs. 400 on this page.
The same VGR model at the same Rs. 799 reads as 4.0 stars or 3.4 depending on which copy you open — and the Rs. 3,398 tile at the top of the range has no rating at all.
Rs. 799 — portable foil shaver, badged 20%
Why it earned its spot one half of a pair of identical listings that disagree about the same product.

Why it earned its spot the same shaver, the same price, six-tenths of a star lower.
Rs. 3,398 — full body trimmer kit, badged 32%
Why it earned its spot the top of the price range, and a reminder that a shallow badge is not a guarantee either.
Gillette, LetsShave, TOPAZ and Gallant badge between 3% and 26%. Two unbranded safety razors on the same results page badge 82% and 84%.
Rs. 373 — manual razor kit, 1 handle and 2 cartridges, badged 26%
Why it earned its spot and 26% is as deep as any established razor name goes on this page.

Why it earned its spot the highest-rated manual razor here, at a badge of fourteen per cent.
Rs. 2,968 — razor blade cartridges, pack of 8, badged 15%
Why it earned its spot the dearest blade pack here, and proof a big rupee price does not buy a big rating pool.
Rs. 629 — razor blade cartridges, pack of 4, badged 3%
Why it earned its spot three per cent off, which is what an honestly-set reference price looks like.
Rs. 719 — razor blade cartridges, pack of 4, badged 10%
Why it earned its spot the same brand one tier up, still in single-digit-to-ten-per-cent territory.
Rs. 485 — double-edge blades, 400 blades, badged 19%
Why it earned its spot the cheapest blade here per blade, by a very wide margin.
Rs. 200 — twin blade cartridges, pack of 5, badged 20%
Why it earned its spot the cheapest cartridge refill on this page, at around Rs. 40 a cartridge.
Rs. 127 — double-edge safety razor, badged 82%
Why it earned its spot an unbranded safety razor badging three times deeper than any blade brand here.
Rs. 160 — 3-piece metal safety razor, badged 84%
Why it earned its spot the single sharpest illustration of what the badge column is measuring.
Flipkart runs card and coupon offers that change by day, card and basket, and this read was made logged out, so no bank discount is included in any price here. Read the rating count before the badge — five of the 24 tiles seated here publish none at all, and four of those five badge above 60%. Search the exact model number before you buy: one shaver on this page is listed twice at the same price with two different star averages. Work out the running cost, not the handle cost — cartridges here range from about Rs. 40 to Rs. 371 each by our arithmetic, and that is the bill you pay repeatedly. Check which blade system a razor takes: double-edge blades at roughly Rs. 1.21 each only fit a safety razor, never a cartridge handle. And treat a 4.7 built on sixteen ratings as no evidence at all — two tiles on this page do exactly that.

Each selling price, stated MRP, badge, star average and rating count was read from flipkart.com's own search results for "electric shaver for men" and "razor blade" on 6 November 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing bought. 143 tiles were returned; 24 are seated. Pack counts and piece counts are quoted from the listings' own titles and subtitles. Every per-blade and per-cartridge figure is our arithmetic on those two published numbers and is labelled in the text.
A 4.7 from 16 ratings and a 4.1 from 10,921 are not the same evidence, and this page says so wherever it matters. Tiles with no rating published at all are stated as such rather than left blank — five of the 24 seated here publish none. Where a pool is in single or double figures we say plainly that the average cannot carry weight, instead of printing it beside a pool a thousand times larger.
A rechargeable shaver, a razor handle kit and a packet of refill blades are three different purchases, and no comparison on this page crosses those lines on price alone. Double-edge blades and multi-blade cartridges do not fit the same razors, so the Rs. 1.21 a blade on a double-edge packet is not a saving against Rs. 371 a Gillette cartridge — it is a different system, and the page says so where the figures appear.
Every badge here is computed against a stated MRP the seller supplies, and on this shelf those run from Rs. 250 to Rs. 4,999 for products selling between Rs. 127 and Rs. 3,398. Setting a reference price above the selling price is an ordinary retail practice and nothing here alleges that any stated MRP is false. The narrow, checkable finding is that the deep badges and the empty rating columns are the same tiles. We quote every badge and rank by price.
This is a price and listing read and nothing else. No shaver was run, no battery timed, no blade used. "Professional", "High Power", "Premium Quality", "Multifunction", "Made in Germany" and every stated runtime are the listings' own printed words, reproduced here and verified by nobody. Skin safety, closeness, build quality and durability are not assessed anywhere on this page.
Because the percentage is calculated against a stated MRP the seller supplies, and on this shelf the sellers stating the largest list prices are the ones nobody has reviewed. On this read, a BAYNIXS foil shaver at Rs. 876 states Rs. 4,999 and badges 82% with no rating published; a DALING 3-in-1 at Rs. 996 states Rs. 4,500 and badges 78%, also unrated. Three rupees above that DALING, the Bombay Shaving Company 11-in-1 states Rs. 2,500, badges 60% and carries 4.0 stars from 6,554 ratings. Setting a reference price above the selling price is an ordinary retail practice and nothing here alleges that any stated MRP is false. The practical rule on this shelf is to read the rating count first and treat the badge as decoration.
Of the 143 tiles this read returned on 6 November 2026, the cheapest electric shaver seated here is a MICOYANG mini shaver at Rs. 199, against a stated Rs. 999 and badged 80%, carrying 3.5 stars from just 13 ratings. The cheapest tile with a rating pool worth reading is the fivme 24D9 at Rs. 250 with 701 ratings, also at 3.5 stars. Thirteen ratings cannot support a star average, which is why both numbers are quoted with their pool sizes here. Prices on this shelf move daily and nothing was re-checked after the read.
On this read they never came close. LetsShave badged 3% and 10% on its blade packs, Gillette Fusion 5 badged 14%, Gillette ProGlide 15%, TOPAZ 19%, Gallant 20% and Gillette's Mach3 kit 26% - the deepest badge any established razor name carried in the whole read. On the same results page, unbranded safety razors badged 82% and 84%. The consistent explanation is simply that these brands set reference prices close to what they sell for: LetsShave's Pro 5 pack states Rs. 649 and sells at Rs. 629, a gap of Rs. 20. A shallow badge on this shelf tends to mean the stated MRP is realistic, not that the product is poor value — the 14% Gillette tile holds the highest star average of anything here with over a thousand ratings.
Check whether they share a rating count. On this read VGR's V-390B appears twice at Rs. 799, both stating Rs. 999 and both badged 20% - but one shows 4.0 stars from 93 ratings and the other 3.4 from 63. Here the duplication split the reviews rather than pooling them, so the same shaver reads a full six-tenths of a star apart depending on which copy you open. Taken together the two hold 156 ratings. Neither figure is wrong; neither is the whole picture. Where tiles DO share an identical count - as two MICOYANG tiles here both show 13 - that usually indicates a shared listing family instead.
On the published prices in this read, the double-edge blades are far cheaper per blade - but they are not interchangeable, so it is a choice of system rather than a saving. A TOPAZ packet stating 400 double-edge blades at Rs. 485 works out at about Rs. 1.21 a blade; a Gillette ProGlide pack of 8 cartridges at Rs. 2,968 is about Rs. 371 each; LetsShave's 4-pack at Rs. 629 is about Rs. 157 each; Gallant's 5 twin-blade cartridges at Rs. 200 are about Rs. 40 each. All four of those per-unit figures are our arithmetic on the price and the count printed in each title, not numbers Flipkart publishes. Double-edge blades only fit a safety razor - the Jagsun at Rs. 127 and the Silvermax at Rs. 160 on this page are those handles - and nothing here tests how any of them shave.
