Flipkart Colour Pencil Price October 2026: Rs. 4.92 to Rs. 14.75 a Shade

We read 205 stationery search results on Flipkart on 29 October 2026 — 204 distinct listings — and divided every colour pencil box by the shade count printed on it.

DOMS sells five different 24-shade colour pencil sets on this one shelf, and they work out at Rs. 4.92, Rs. 6.88, Rs. 11.42, Rs. 12.38 and Rs. 14.75 a shade. That is a 3.0x spread inside one brand's own 24-shade line, on one day. The same brand's 50-shade box works out at Rs. 5.00 a shade and undercuts three of the five.

The badge column and the per-shade column point in opposite directions. The Rs. 4.92-a-shade box is badged 54%; the Rs. 14.75-a-shade box is badged 14%; the Rs. 11.42 one is badged 8%. Sorting this shelf by discount moves you towards the cheap boxes, but the discount is not what makes them cheap — the shade count and the box price are.

The two dearest-per-shade boxes are not obviously better equipped. One: count the shades and divide. A 24-shade box at Rs. 354 and a 50-shade box at Rs. 250 are not close. Two: look for a repeated round MRP — 37 listings here sit on Rs. 999 at prices 5.5 times apart. Three: read the rating count, not the star; 43 listings in this read carry no rating at all and several of the loudest badges sit on counts in single figures.
