Five palazzos, five stated list prices, not one of them a round number — and every one of them almost exactly ten times what the trouser costs.
Rs. 2,747. That is the list price AJIO states for a palazzo it sells at Rs. 275. Nobody prints Rs. 2,747 on a swing tag — it is Rs. 275 multiplied by ten, which is how you land on a round 90% badge. Five more from the same brand do the same thing, with stated MRPs of Rs. 2,994, Rs. 2,742, Rs. 2,641 and Rs. 2,568. AJIO's palazzo shelf on 11 October 2026: 40 listings, prices from Rs. 230 to Rs. 525, claimed list prices from Rs. 499 to Rs. 2,994, and no customer rating published anywhere.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on October 11, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Why it earned its spot A hundred rupees dearer than the card above, and the same percentage.
An AVAASA MIX N' MATCH embroidered palazzo, Rs. 458.

A MAX embroidered palazzo with a drawstring waist, Rs. 497.

First, divide the stated MRP by the price. If it lands on a round multiple — 10.00x, 5.00x, 2.50x, 2.00x, all four appear on this page — the list price was very likely solved for from the selling price rather than the other way round. Second, look at whether the stated MRP is a number anyone would print. Rs. 2,747, Rs. 2,641, Rs. 1,419 and Rs. 719 all appear here; Rs. 1,999 and Rs. 599 also appear, and they read very differently. Third, check for a pack count in the title. The only multi-pack seated on this page works out at Rs. 227 a palazzo, cheaper than every single-pair listing, while sitting twenty-second of twenty-four by badge. Fourth, remember there is no rating to fall back on. AJIO publishes no star average and no review count on any of the 126 rows we read, so unlike a Myntra or Flipkart tile there is no customer evidence to set against the percentage — the rupee figure is all you have. This is a price page: nothing was bought, worn or measured, and no garment here is assessed for fabric, fit, sizing or durability.

Each selling price, stated MRP and discount badge here came from the search response ajio.com itself serves, read on 11 October 2026, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 126 rows came back across three queries; 40 of them are palazzos and 24 of those are seated. Every count, median and range on this page is computed over the 40, not over the 24.
The same pull returned kurta sets, Anarkali sets and nightwear. None of them appears here and none is counted in any figure on this page, because mixing garment types would make every median meaningless. We have written AJIO's kurta-set and nightwear shelves separately and linked them below.
Zero of the 126 rows in this read carry a star average or a review count. That is AJIO's own choice about what to publish, not a gap in our read, and it means there is no customer evidence on this shelf to weigh against the badge. We do not substitute an editorial score of our own, so every card here is a price card and says so.
The AVAASA count is all fifteen of its palazzos, counted mechanically. The ZWERLON group is all six, five seated. The Aura Glam, Valles365 and DAIVE pairs are both listings each brand has here. Where a card says a brand does something consistently, the claim covers that brand's whole presence in this read.
This is a page about published prices. Fabric names, rises, fits, hems and 'chikankari', 'schiffli' and 'foil print' are AJIO's own listing text, reproduced as printed. No garment on this page was handled, tried on or measured, and none is assessed for fabric, sizing, comfort or durability.
Because the percentage is computed from each listing's own stated MRP, and on this shelf some of those stated MRPs are almost exactly ten times the selling price. Five ZWERLON X AG palazzos seated here sell at Rs. 257 to Rs. 299 against stated list prices of Rs. 2,568, Rs. 2,641, Rs. 2,742, Rs. 2,747 and Rs. 2,994 — multiples of 9.99x to 10.01x, and not one of those figures is a round number. At the other end of the same shelf, two MAX palazzos state 1.21x and 1.25x and are badged 17% and 20%. The badge is a fact about the strike-through number beside it.
Two Aura Glam listings share the floor at Rs. 230 — and they are badged 77% and 54%, because one claims Rs. 999 and the other Rs. 499 for the identical money. If you count a multi-pack, the cheapest trouser here is actually the DAIVE pack of two at Rs. 454, which is Rs. 227 a palazzo — and it ranks twenty-second of twenty-four by badge. Across the 40 palazzos in this read prices run Rs. 230 to Rs. 525. Read on 11 October 2026; prices change without notice.
Because they state different list prices. The clearest case in this read: two Aura Glam palazzos, both selling at exactly Rs. 230. One states Rs. 999 and advertises 77% off; the other states Rs. 499 and advertises 54%. Twenty-three percentage points of advertised difference and zero rupees of real difference. Since AJIO publishes no ratings on any listing, there is nothing else on the two tiles to separate them either — which makes comparing the rupee figures the only thing a shopper can usefully do.
Not on any of the 126 rows we read on 11 October 2026. No star average and no review count appears anywhere in AJIO's search response, which is why not one card on this page carries a rating pill. It is a meaningful difference from Myntra, where the same category publishes counts in the thousands. We do not know and do not speculate about why AJIO does not publish them; we report only that it does not, and we decline to substitute a score of our own.
On this shelf, in money terms, frequently yes. The fifteen AVAASA MIX N' MATCH palazzos in this read are all badged exactly 49% and sell between Rs. 254 and Rs. 458; the six ZWERLON palazzos are all badged 90% and sell between Rs. 257 and Rs. 299. The 90% group is cheaper, so in this instance the deeper badge and the lower price happen to agree — but they agree by coincidence, not by design, because the 49% is a fixed 1.96x ratio and the 90% is a fixed 10x ratio. Neither number is telling you anything about value; only the rupee figure is.
