One hundred and fifty-two bathroom listings read on 30 September, grouped by aisle. The badge turns out to be a fact about which shelf you are looking at.
AJIO's bathrobe rack was showing a median 75% off on the morning of 30 September 2026. Its hand towel rail, one aisle away in the same shop, was showing 29.5%. We read 152 listings across five bathroom shelves that morning and the badge ladder is clean: 29.5%, 36.5%, 44%, 59%, 75%. It is not a ladder of better deals - it is a ladder of stated MRPs, which run a median 4.00 times the price on robes and 1.58 times on bath towels. AJIO published a rating on none of the 152, so the badge is all a buyer is given.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on September 30, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: never compare badges across aisles. A 67% bathrobe is the least-discounted robe on the rack and a 67% hand towel would be the most-discounted towel on its rail, because the two shelves state MRPs on completely different scales - 4.00x against 1.58x. Compare prices within one aisle and ignore the percentage entirely. Second: divide by the pack count. Several of the biggest badges here are on stated sets, and the per-unit arithmetic reverses the ranking: a Rs. 480 set of four door mats is Rs. 120 a mat while a Rs. 351 single mat from the same seller is Rs. 351 a mat, and the single carries the smaller badge. Third: accept that there is no crowd to consult. AJIO published no rating on any of these 152 listings, so unlike on Amazon, Flipkart or Myntra there is no count to sort by - which makes the stated GSM, the stated dimensions and the per-unit price the only comparable numbers on the tile. Fourth: if you want a name you recognise, expect a small badge. Monte Carlo, Fabindia, Home Centre and Spaces all sat between 10% and 20% in this read, and three of the five smallest badges of all 152 listings were Monte Carlo bath towels.

Each selling price, stated MRP and discount badge on this page was read on 30 September 2026 from AJIO's own search API for bath towel, hand towel, bath mats, door mat and bath robe, logged out, in India. 152 distinct listings. Nothing was bought.
Not one of the 152 listings in this read published a star average or a rating count. That is AJIO's own behaviour on these shelves and not a gap in our read. It is also why this page leans on prices, per-unit rates and stated MRPs: they are the only published numbers there are.
Where a title states 'Set of 4' or 'Pack of 5' we divide the selling price by that number and say so on the card. Pack counts were parsed case-insensitively; a case-sensitive parse misreads 'Pack Of 3' as a single item and inflates the rate threefold, and every per-unit figure here was recomputed before publication. We have not opened any pack to confirm its contents.
The 29.5%, 36.5%, 44%, 59% and 75% medians describe all 152 listings grouped by shelf - 26, 28, 31, 39 and 28 listings respectively - not the 25 cards seated here. The same applies to every range, count and multiple quoted on this page.
'Anti-skid', 'anti-slip', 'quick dry', 'super absorbent', 'highly absorbent', '500 GSM', '1800 GSM', 'cotton', 'microfiber', 'bamboo', 'wool', 'double terry' and every stated dimension is the listing's own printed text, reproduced as printed and not verified, weighed, washed or slip-tested by us. Nothing here says any mat will not slide or any towel will absorb what it claims.
In this 30 September 2026 read of 152 bathroom listings, the bath towel shelf had a median selling price of Rs. 499 and ran from Rs. 149 to Rs. 1,702. Hand towels were cheaper at a median Rs. 344, bath mats Rs. 400, door mats Rs. 400 and bathrobes Rs. 544. Across all five shelves the median was Rs. 466.50. The dearest single listing in the whole read was a Rs. 1,702 striped cotton bath towel, and the cheapest anything was a Rs. 189 door mat.
Because the bathrobe shelf states much larger MRPs than the rest of the bathroom. All 28 robes in this read sat between 67% and 83% off, and their median stated MRP was exactly 4.00 times the selling price, against 1.58 times on bath towels. A Rs. 1,000 robe stated an MRP of Rs. 4,999 - the largest MRP of all 152 listings, and higher than the selling price of every actual product in the read. We have not verified that any robe was ever sold at its stated MRP. Stating a high MRP is lawful and commonplace across Indian retail and we allege no wrongdoing by AJIO or any brand.
Not on any of these shelves. None of the 152 listings in this read - not one bath towel, hand towel, bath mat, door mat or bathrobe - published a star average or a rating count. That matches what we have found across AJIO's socks, belts, caps, umbrellas and sandals shelves too. It is a real practical difference from Myntra, Amazon and Flipkart, where a rating count is usually the most useful column on the tile. On AJIO you are left with price, stated MRP, stated GSM and stated dimensions.
Substantially, in this read. One seller held 25 of the 39 door mat listings, and its 14 multipacks worked out at a median Rs. 144 a mat against Rs. 300 for its 11 single mats - and the multipacks also carried the larger median badge, 64% against 55%. The cheapest rate was a stated set of four at Rs. 480, or Rs. 120 a mat; the dearest was a single at Rs. 369. One caution on method: these pack counts must be read case-insensitively, because titles mix 'Pack of 3' and 'Pack Of 3' and a case-sensitive parse treats the latter as a single mat.
It is genuine arithmetic over two published numbers, and it is not evidence of a saving. Thirty-five of the 152 listings advertised 70% or more, and 25 of those 35 were bathrobes - an aisle whose median stated MRP is 4.00x. The largest badge in the read, 85%, sat on a Rs. 195 pair of bath towels with a stated MRP of Rs. 1,299, a 6.66x multiple on a shelf whose median is 1.58x. The practical response is to compare selling prices within one aisle, divide any set by its pack count, and treat the percentage as a statement about the MRP column rather than about the money.
