“Compulsory or Complementary!”
I do not understand why they call it a complementary offer when one must purchase it!
These days booking PVR tickets is better but one should not trust on their offers. Recently, I booked two movie tickets from PVR website and paid Rs. 780 instead of Rs. 500. I thought the prices might have risen but after booking, I saw that they added a complementary offer.
If I deselect the offer, I cannot proceed because it was compulsory to be bought! I booked the tickets. The next day when I showed the ticket, they told me that I must buy the food by showing this image. In the interval, when I moved to buy this, I was amazed by seeing the quantity! The gave two small popcorn, coke and cookies.
It was seriously not a great deal! I was so frustrated that they took extra charges, added tax and still what was given was not at all appreciable! I will recommend you all to choose other booking apps other than PVR cinema to save your money!

Why do people book tickets online? They do it in order to save their time and money but people at PVR don’t understand this, I guess!
I wanted to book 2 tickets for the movie “Dream Girl” for the date 26th September 2019. Since I’m a working man, I didn’t have enough time to go to the theatre to pick up the tickets and therefore, I decided to book them online only.
While completing the booking procedure, I came across a page that stated that I need to buy and popcorn and coke combo pack worth Rs.370/- and before this, online ticket proceedings cannot move forward.
I called up the service helpline to talk about the problem that I was facing. I was informed that it is happening because of their current offers and In case I wish to move forward with the ticket booking, I’ll be able to do it only after purchasing the pack.
Comment: Why would I spend money when I don’t even want to have anything!
Would surely prefer switching next time!
So, this incident is of PVR Anupam, Saket. Yesterday, we, a group of 4 people decided to watch Batla house due to the reviews that we were getting, since it was a sudden plan, we booked the tickets online and decided to pick them up from the counter.
Seats Reserved: B10, B11, B12, B13 (Right Side, Centre Corner)
Show Timings: 2:10 PM
We reached at the window to collect our tickets at 1:40 PM. I showed him the booking confirmation emails and messages and the guy said that only 3 tickets have been booked from my account, however, I had a proof that I booked 4. When we asked him to recheck the system, he started misbehaving and refused to do the same. I immediately called up the customer service number (0124-470-8100) to talk about the same. It was only after the calling executive instructed him to issue us 4 tickets, he gave us 4 tickets. While handing over the tickets, he was constantly shouting. I think the name of the guy was Anshuman Kumra, not really sure though!
I hated it totally!
Not visiting that place again surely!
