The crew released season 4 in merely 9 months which means we might have been able to watch season 5 in early 2021! But since Netflix suspended filming scripted productions over coronavirus back in March, you can expect the Dali masks back in banks in October 2021.
Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado have been confirmed their place with the rest of the ensemble
Season 4 was a cliffhanger- Lisbon is now inside the bank, but Inspector Alicia Sierra has trapped the Professor. With Nairobi dead, the gang needs to expedite the speed of melting of the gold, and how problematic are Gandia and Arturo going to be for the heist?
On July 31, Netflix announced Money Heist would be returning for a fifth – and final – series, saying "the heist will come to an end". The final season will consist of 10 episodes and will be shot in Spain, Denmark, and Portugal.
Berlin (Pedro Alonso) is Alicia’s “dead” husband/ Alicia is Tatiana
According to Alicia, her husband was named Germán and he died of cancer before the events of the heist. Not only does Berlin’s mysterious illness mirror the symptoms of cancer, but Berlin is the capital of Germany, and Alicia’s husband’s name is Germán!
Inspector Alicia Sierra will change sides and join Professor’s gang
Fans have been speculating this since the police already have a warrant against her, and she has caught the Professor red-handed. Following the above theory, Alicia already knows the Professor and will join hands with him to become a part of the resistance.

The second heist witnessed higher stakes, more retaliation, and tighter knots for the gang to untie! There's a relentless pregnant woman trying to take them down and let's not forget the assassins turned Head of Security at the Bank of Spain turned victim turned Nairobi’s murderer they have to deal with!
Inspector Alicia Sierra is incessantly ruthless in the command center, even defying Colonel Luis Tamayo’s orders. And within the Bank of Spain, relationship troubles seem to be putting the entire operation in peril (serving as an example of why working with your significant other is probably not the best idea…).
This time around, Palermo channels his borderline hysteria that the gang is increasingly uncomfortable with. Through flashbacks featuring Berlin, we get some clarity to the situation- Palermo’s loyalties lie with his plan, not with The Professor. And he will do whatever it takes to make sure everyone is in line. To this end, new alliances are formed and broken, putting everyone in the bank in a precarious position. If Tokyo’s irrational decisions in previous seasons were frustrating to watch, Palermo’s antics are equally grating...
You can watch Money Heist in English or Spanish only for now, but Netflix might provide Hindi audio for the fifth season.
No. According to Decider.com, “Pina (screenwriter) wanted to explore the heist genre but saw heist movies as limiting. Translating these grand robberies to a series would give him more time to explore its characters. The writing team has also dedicated a lot of time and energy to making sure each of the series’ heists is believable as possible. So even though all of the stealing in this show is fake, it could happen.”
Álex Pina wrote this crime drama.
