Twenty-three garments read on 27 August, Rs. 290 to Rs. 9,990. Three in every ten products cost Rs. 1,490, and every markdown lands on a rung that already exists.
We pulled every product on Uniqlo's India storefront on 27 August 2026 - 357 of them - and found fourteen prices. Not fourteen price bands: fourteen numbers, every one ending in 90, from Rs. 290 to Rs. 9,990. A hundred and seven products cost Rs. 1,490. Sixty-eight are marked down, and every markdown lands on a price the ladder already had. Uniqlo publishes no MRP here, so no card below shows one.
Every price below was pulled from Uniqlo on August 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Uniqlo coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Socks, underwear, babywear and tees - and the two prices, Rs. 590 and Rs. 790, that exist only as markdown destinations and never as list prices.
Rs. 290 for a pair of socks - the cheapest number that exists anywhere on this storefront.
Why it earned its spot Nine products share this price, and nothing on the India site costs less.
Rs. 490 boxer briefs with 4.9 from 15 - the best-evidenced product under Rs. 500.
Why it earned its spot Fifteen ratings is a small sample, but it is the largest one under Rs. 500 here.
Rs. 590, down from Rs. 1,990 - 70 per cent, and the deepest cut of the 68 running today.
Why it earned its spot It is the largest reduction on the storefront, and it lands on a ladder rung.
Rs. 690 for baby leggings - sixteen products share this price and most are for infants.
Why it earned its spot It shows the ladder is used to sort the catalogue, not to price each garment.
A frill T-shirt cut by 68 per cent, landing on the second-cheapest markdown price.
Why it earned its spot The biggest fall in rupee terms among the sub-Rs. 1,000 markdowns.
Rs. 790, down from Rs. 1,490 - a licensed manga print at half the usual UT price.
Why it earned its spot The UT graphic line is the single most discounted family in this read.
Rs. 990 and 4.9 from twenty ratings - the strongest evidence at this price.
Why it earned its spot Twenty ratings is the second-largest count in the whole catalogue.
Rs. 990, down from Rs. 1,490 - one of 38 products that landed on exactly this price.
Why it earned its spot Thirty-eight of the 68 markdowns on this site land on Rs. 990. It is the destination.
Rs. 990, down from Rs. 2,490 - a 60 per cent cut on a dry-finish piqué polo.
Why it earned its spot The largest gap between rung of origin and rung of destination in the sub-Rs. 1,000 set.
A hundred and seven products are priced Rs. 1,490 and 39 more at Rs. 1,990. This is the band where a plain tee, a licensed graphic and a performance knit all cost the same.
Rs. 1,290 - only five products in the whole catalogue carry this price.
Why it earned its spot A rung with five products on it shows how deliberately the others are stacked.
Rs. 1,490 with 4.6 from 39 ratings - the second-largest rating count on the site.
Why it earned its spot Thirty-nine ratings, on the rung where 107 of 357 products sit.
Rs. 1,490 for a DRY-EX tee - the same price as a plain crew and a licensed graphic.
Why it earned its spot Same price as a cotton tee, which is the argument for buying this one instead.
Rs. 1,490 for a Pokemon UT print, and not marked down - unlike most of the UT line.
Why it earned its spot It shows which licences hold their price and which get moved down the ladder.
Rs. 1,990, down from Rs. 2,990, with 4.7 from 60 ratings - the largest count in the read.
Why it earned its spot Sixty ratings is the most customer evidence attached to anything in this catalogue.
Rs. 1,990, down from Rs. 2,490 - a 20 per cent cut, the gentlest on this page.
Why it earned its spot One rung down, and the percentage is small because the rungs are close together here.
The top five rungs hold the construction-heavy garments, and the customer evidence thins out to nothing by the time you reach Rs. 5,990.
Rs. 2,490 and 4.9 from 35 ratings - the strongest evidence above the Rs. 2,000 line.
Why it earned its spot Thirty-five ratings and no markdown: the catalogue's clearest full-price endorsement.
Rs. 2,490 for a shoulder bag - accessories are priced on exactly the same fourteen rungs.
Why it earned its spot It proves the ladder is a catalogue-wide system, not an apparel convention.
Rs. 2,990 - the rung that holds 50 products and most of the women's trousers.
Why it earned its spot Fifty products sit here, second only to Rs. 1,490 - it is the trouser band.
Rs. 3,490 with 4.9 from 27 ratings - the best-evidenced trouser in the catalogue.
Why it earned its spot Twenty-seven ratings puts it in the catalogue's top ten for customer evidence.
Nine products at this price, and a backpack is one of them.
Why it earned its spot Another thin rung, holding outerwear and bags rather than a category.
Rs. 4,990 with 5 from 5 ratings - thirteen products share this price and most are jackets.
Why it earned its spot The rung where the catalogue turns from clothing into outerwear.
Rs. 5,990 for a tailored jacket - nine products, and none of them carry a single rating.
Why it earned its spot The top of the ladder is where the customer evidence disappears entirely.
Rs. 9,990 for a trench coat - the single most expensive product on the India site.
Why it earned its spot One product, one price, and a Rs. 9,700 gap from the floor of the catalogue.
First: read the rung, not the badge - a 34 per cent cut from Rs. 1,490 to Rs. 990 and a 20 per cent cut from Rs. 2,490 to Rs. 1,990 are the same one-rung move, and the percentage only differs because the rungs are Rs. 500 apart in both cases. Second: if the garment you want is at Rs. 1,490 and is seasonal - a licensed graphic, a printed tee - the ladder will collect it at Rs. 990, because 38 of the 68 current markdowns landed there. Third: buy the fabric, since a plain cotton crew, a DRY-EX performance tee and a licensed print all cost the same Rs. 1,490 and only one of them is built for a July commute. Fourth: treat the rating counts honestly - 272 of 357 products have none at all, so a five-star average from two people is not the endorsement it looks like, unlike the marketplace counts behind Myntra's shirt shelf. All 357 products on uniqlo.com/in carry one of just fourteen list prices, every one ending in 90: Rs. 290, 490, 690, 990, 1,290, 1,490, 1,990, 2,490, 2,990, 3,490, 3,990, 4,990, 5,990 and 9,990. A hundred and seven products - three in ten - are Rs. 1,490. Knowing the ladder tells you more about what a garment costs than the garment does.
Sixty-eight products are marked down today and every one of them lands on a price already on the ladder - Rs. 590, 790, 990, 1,490, 1,990 or 2,490 - with 38 of the 68 landing on Rs. 990 exactly. A markdown here moves a garment down a rung; the percentage is a by-product of how far apart the rungs are at that point.
There is no struck-through MRP anywhere on this storefront. Where a product is not marked down we show one price and say there is no discount to report. Where it is marked down, the 'was' figure is Uniqlo's own earlier list price for that same product - a weaker and more honest claim than an MRP.
Only 85 of the 357 products carry any rating, and only ten carry ten or more. The largest count in the catalogue is 60. Cards for the 272 unrated products show no pill, and where a count is two or three we say so on the card rather than letting a five-star average imply a consensus.
DRY-EX, 3D knit, piqué and ribbed jersey are the words that decide whether a garment works for an Indian summer or a north-Indian winter, and on a ladder where a performance tee and a printed one cost the same Rs. 1,490, the fabric is the only thing left to choose on.
Fourteen. We pulled all 357 products on uniqlo.com/in on 27 August 2026 and every one of them carried one of these list prices: Rs. 290, 490, 690, 990, 1,290, 1,490, 1,990, 2,490, 2,990, 3,490, 3,990, 4,990, 5,990 and 9,990. Every figure ends in 90. The distribution is heavily lumped rather than smooth - 107 products are Rs. 1,490, 50 are Rs. 2,990 and 39 each are Rs. 1,990 and Rs. 2,490, while only five products in the entire catalogue are Rs. 1,290. There is nothing priced Rs. 1,349, Rs. 1,799 or Rs. 2,199, because those are not rungs. The practical consequence for a shopper is that price carries much less information here than on a marketplace: two garments at Rs. 1,490 are not two garments that cost the same to make, they are two garments assigned to the same band.
No. There is no MRP field on this storefront at all, which is unusual in Indian e-commerce and is the reason no card on this page shows a struck-out figure unless the product is genuinely marked down right now. When a product is on offer, what you see struck through is Uniqlo's own earlier list price for that same product - not a manufacturer's recommended price that may never have been charged. That is a narrower claim and a more honest one. It also means the discount percentages on this page are arithmetic over two prices Uniqlo itself set, and that the 289 products currently at list price have no percentage to report rather than a zero per cent discount off an invented reference.
Uniqlo runs continuous limited-offer pricing rather than announced seasonal events, and on 27 August 2026 sixty-eight of the 357 products - about one in five - were carrying an offer price. The interesting part is where those offers land: every single one is on a price the ladder already uses, and 38 of the 68 are on Rs. 990 exactly. Two products sit at Rs. 590 and thirteen at Rs. 790, and both of those are markdown-only prices that no product is listed at. The largest cut we found was 70 per cent, on kids' cargo half pants from Rs. 1,990 to Rs. 590. So the question to ask is not whether a sale is running but whether the garment you want has been moved down a rung yet.
Because the storefront is comparatively young in India and ratings are left by a small fraction of buyers. Of the 357 products we read, 85 carried any rating at all and only ten carried ten or more. The largest count in the whole catalogue is 60, on the men's straight jeans; the next largest are 39 on a women's ribbed henley and 35 on a 3D knit polo sweater. On a marketplace listing those numbers would be in the thousands. That is why this page renders a rating pill only where a real count exists, notes the count on the card when it is two or three, and does not treat a five-star average from a single rating as evidence of anything. The counts also thin out sharply with price - nothing at Rs. 5,990 or Rs. 9,990 has been rated at all.
It is narrower rather than dearer, and the distinction matters. Uniqlo's whole India catalogue spans Rs. 290 to Rs. 9,990, a factor of 34. A single category page on a marketplace routinely spans a factor of two hundred - AJIO's sweater shelf on the same day ran from Rs. 100 to Rs. 20,000. So Uniqlo has no bargain-basement floor and no luxury ceiling: a T-shirt is Rs. 990 to Rs. 1,490 whether it is plain or licensed, and a pair of jeans is Rs. 2,990 to Rs. 3,490 whoever designed it. Against a marketplace you will find cheaper tees easily and you will not find this consistency of fabric at the price. Which of those matters more is a question about how you shop, not about which retailer is better.
