TVS has managed to do well with the Sport commuter bike with a famous tagline “Mileage ka baap”. TVS Sport is a budget-friendly bike that offers a great look and amazing ride quality. The fuel-efficient 100 cc Dura Life single-cylinder engine makes 7.8PS and 7.5Nm of torque. The design hasn’t changed a bit, except for some graphic addition. Keeping it fresh are 5-spoke alloy wheels and electric starter. Although the instrument console is basic with speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, and economy indicator.

The TVS Sport is offered in three main variants – spoked rims, spoked rims with electric start, and alloy wheels with electric start. Three other variants have linked brakes on offer. The base kick start spoke trim is priced at Rs. 39,900, the mid-level kick start alloy trim is priced at Rs. 46,700. The electric start alloy trim is priced at Rs. 49,901. The TVS Sport is available in eight colour options, namely, Black Silver, Indigo Streak, Titanium Grey, Mercury Grey, Blaze Red, Volcano Red, White Red and Dazzling White. The standard features include a two-pod instrument cluster and drum brakes for both the front and rear. Also, linked brakes are available as an option.
Powering the TVS Sport is a 109cc single-cylinder petrol engine that produces 7.4bhp and 7.5Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a four-speed gearbox. It is built on a single cradle tubular frame. The suspension duties are carried out with telescopic forks in front and five-step adjustable hydraulic rear shock absorber.

Talking about the competition, the Hero HF Deluxe manages to develop better power and torque than the TVS Sport. Also, the HF Deluxe is priced lesser than the TVS Sport and Bajaj Platina.

TVS Sport is good at handling in the city. The best thing about the TVS sport is that you can electric start the bike in any gear. With a seat height of 790 mm, the TVS Sport feels well suited for tall people as well. However, we felt that the tyres would have been better so that it could provide traction while cornering or braking.

Hero HF Deluxe is a 100cc entry-level motorcycle with good mileage, which was introduced with an attempt to regain the pole position in the 100-cc category. It is powered by a 97.2cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine with 4-speed constant mesh gearbox which generates 7.8PS of power at 7500rpm and 8.04Nm of torque at 4500rpm.
