Snitch mostly doesn't discount clothes — 71% of its catalogue sits at a flat price. Where a discount does appear, it belongs to the colour, not the garment.
We pulled Snitch's own product feed on July 31, 2026 — twelve pages, 2,858 in-stock listings with images — expecting to sort a sale and instead finding that there mostly isn't one. Two thousand and thirty-five of those listings, seventy-one per cent of the catalogue, carry no discount whatsoever. They are simply priced, flatly, at what they cost. And of the 823 that are discounted, six hundred and twenty-four — three-quarters of them — are at exactly twenty per cent. The apparel ladder, across the whole store, takes five values and only five: ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five and thirty per cent. Sixteen garments sit at fifteen. Thirteen sit at thirty. Precisely one item in 2,858 sits at twenty-five. A percentage drawn from a five-item menu is not information about a garment, so we stopped reading the badges and grouped the catalogue by the style code buried in each product URL instead — 960 groups, one per actual garment. That is where the real finding was. A hundred and sixty of those groups contain the same item at two or three different prices, and the only thing that changes between them is the colour. A relaxed-fit geometric overshirt is Rs. 1,259 in green; in grey, cream and blue it is Rs. 1,799. A pure-linen shirt is Rs. 2,099 in beige and Rs. 2,624 in the six other shades. A plain cotton tee is Rs. 639 in navy and Rs. 799 in fourteen other colours. Which has one genuinely unusual consequence, and it is the reason this page is worth your ten minutes: unlike almost every strikethrough in Indian retail, Snitch's is real. The crossed-out Rs. 1,799 is not an MRP nobody ever paid. It is the live, add-to-cart price of the identical overshirt, in another colour, on the same page, right now. Our earlier reads of Snitch shirts under Rs. 1,499 and the store's 20% summer edit cover the same shelf from the buyer's side.
Every price below was pulled from Snitch on July 31, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Snitch coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
At Snitch the crossed-out number is not an inflated MRP — it is the live price of the identical garment in another colour, on the same site, today. A green overshirt is Rs. 1,259 and its grey twin is Rs. 1,799.
Rs. 1,259 against Rs. 1,799 — 30%, and the Rs. 1,799 is what the same overshirt costs in grey, cream or blue today.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,259 for the green one; the identical overshirt in three other colours is Rs. 1,799.
Rs. 2,099 against Rs. 2,624 — 20%, on the one beige shirt among seven identical colourways.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 2,099 for 100% linen — the other six colours of the same shirt are Rs. 2,624.
Rs. 1,679 against Rs. 2,099 — 20%, on four of twelve colourways of one cotton jacquard shirt.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,679 for cotton jacquard; eight of its twelve colours cost Rs. 2,099.
Rs. 1,599 against Rs. 1,999 — 20%, one of only three discounted colours in an eleven-colour run.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,599 for a linen blend; eight of its eleven colours are Rs. 1,999.
Rs. 1,439 against Rs. 1,799 — 20%, and for once twelve of the fifteen colours are the discounted ones.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,439 for 100% cotton self-design — the majority colour, for once, is the cheap one.
Rs. 2,362 against Rs. 2,624 — 10%, on six of the seven colourways of a pure-linen checked shirt.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 2,362 for 100% linen checks — only the white sibling stays at Rs. 2,624.
Eighteen apparel style codes list the same shirt on three different rungs at once — 20% off, 10% off, and not on sale. The garment never changes. Only the swatch does.
Rs. 979 against Rs. 1,399 — 30%, the deepest apparel discount Snitch offers and the lowest shirt price here.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 979 for a stretch checked shirt — the cheapest of 1,302 shirts we read.
Rs. 1,119 against Rs. 1,399 — 20%, for the identical shirt above in blue instead of olive.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,119 for the same checked shirt — proof that the rung, not the garment, sets the price.
Rs. 1,119 against Rs. 1,399 — 20%, on nine of the eleven colourways of one stretch shirt.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,119 for a plain stretch shirt in white — the most-used shirt shape at the page's best working price.
Rs. 1,259 against Rs. 1,399 — 10%, the only one of eleven colourways stranded on the middle rung.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,259 for orange — Rs. 140 over the identical shirt in nine other colours.
Rs. 1,279 against Rs. 1,599 — 20%, on a style code whose ten colours sit at Rs. 1,279, Rs. 1,439 and Rs. 1,599.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,279 for a linen-blend shirt — the cheapest rung of a three-rung colour ladder.
Across 2,858 listings the apparel discount takes exactly five values — 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 per cent. Nothing else. One item in the entire catalogue is at 25%, and it is in this chapter.
Rs. 1,679 against Rs. 2,099 — 20%, on two of the eight colourways of one pair of stretch jeans.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,679 for straight-fit stretch denim — five of its eight washes cost Rs. 2,099.
Rs. 1,614 against Rs. 1,899 — 15%, a rung only sixteen items in 2,858 listings occupy.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,614 for washed straight-fit denim — the cheapest jeans on this page.
Rs. 1,799 against Rs. 1,999 — 10%, the single discounted listing among eight colourways of one baggy jean.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,799 for baggy black denim — the other seven washes are Rs. 1,999.
Rs. 1,439 against Rs. 1,799 — 20%, on a style code that carries three different full prices as well.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,439 for baggy stretch chinos — the same chino runs to Rs. 1,799 in green or grey.
Rs. 1,649 against Rs. 2,199 — 25%, a discount that appears exactly once in 2,858 listings.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,649 for relaxed-fit stretch trousers — the single 25% discount in the whole catalogue.
The cheapest garment in the read is a Rs. 639 tee whose fourteen sibling colours are Rs. 799. The best polo and the best shorts sit on the 30% rung, which only thirteen garments reach.
Rs. 1,329 against Rs. 1,899 — 30%, one of only thirteen garments at the ladder's ceiling.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,329 for a flat-knit cotton polo — at the deepest rate Snitch applies to clothes.
Rs. 1,329 against Rs. 1,899 — 30%, on a signed-collection denim short, the deepest rate the store offers.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,329 for distressed denim shorts from the Siraj collection — at the ceiling discount.
Rs. 1,359 against Rs. 1,699 — 20%, while the same cargo in black is Rs. 1,529 and in grey is Rs. 1,699.
Why it earned its spot Rs. 1,359 for six-pocket stretch cargos — Rs. 340 under the identical pair in grey.
Four rules from a 2,858-listing read. First, and it is the only one that really matters: open every colourway before you pay. Snitch lists each colour as a separate product page, and 160 style codes in the catalogue carry two or three prices across those pages. On the cargo pants that habit is worth Rs. 340; on the linen luxe shirt it is worth Rs. 525; on the geometric overshirt it is worth Rs. 540, which is forty-three per cent of the cheap version's price. It takes about ten seconds per purchase. Second, treat the percentage as noise. Three-quarters of every discount in this store is the same twenty per cent, and the whole apparel ladder is five numbers, so the badge cannot distinguish a good buy from a bad one — the rupee price and the fabric can. Third, and unusually, do trust the strikethrough here. We checked it against the shelf: the crossed-out figure is generally the real current price of the same garment in another colour, not a fiction, which means the stated saving is one you can verify yourself in two clicks. That is more than most Indian retail offers. Fourth, remember that most of this catalogue is not on sale and is not going to be — if the thing you want sits at a flat price in the only colour you would wear, waiting for a badge is likely to be waiting for nothing, and Rs. 1,999 flat for a linen-blend shirt is a fair price on its own terms. Our Snitch coupon page tracks live codes, and our first-order guide and Snitch versus Bewakoof comparison cover what applies on top and how the pricing reads against a rival.

Every price and every struck-through figure on this page comes from snitch.co.in's own /products.json on July 31, 2026 — twelve pages, 2,858 in-stock listings with images, from Rs. 639 to Rs. 7,299. Snitch's feed publishes no customer ratings and no review counts for any product, so no pick on this page carries a rating pill. That absence is the platform's; we would rather show nothing than invent a score.
2,035 of the 2,858 listings — 71% — carry no discount at all; Snitch is largely a flat-price brand. Of the 823 that are discounted, 624 (76%) are at exactly 20%. The apparel ladder takes five values and only five: 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30%. Sixteen garments are at 15%. Thirteen are at 30%. Exactly one item in 2,858 is at 25%. A percentage drawn from a five-item menu cannot tell you which garment is good value, so we ignored it and priced the clothes.
Snitch lists each colourway as its own product, so we grouped the catalogue by the style code in each URL — 960 groups. 160 of them contain the same garment at two or three different prices, decided purely by colour. That is what makes the strikethrough unusual and worth reporting: the crossed-out Rs. 1,799 on a green overshirt is not a fictional MRP, it is the real, buyable, current price of the grey one. We verified that on the shelf rather than assuming it.
Each pick states its selling price, the figure Snitch strikes through, and — where the style code has siblings — what the identical garment costs in other colours, so the saving is checkable rather than asserted. Prices, colours and stock were read on July 31, 2026 and move constantly; a later pull would shift these figures. We name colours as Snitch's own feed labels them, and we have not handled or worn any garment on this page.
Mostly no. We read all 2,858 in-stock listings in Snitch's feed on July 31, 2026 and 2,035 of them — 71% — carry no discount at all. Snitch is largely a flat-price brand, and the prices are the prices. Of the 823 listings that are discounted, 624 are at exactly 20%, so what looks like a sitewide sale is really one rung applied to about a fifth of the catalogue. The practical consequence: if the garment and colour you want sits at a flat price, waiting for a badge is probably waiting for nothing.
Because Snitch lists each colourway as a separate product page, and the discount is attached to the listing rather than to the garment. We grouped the catalogue by the style code in each product URL and found 160 groups where the identical item carries two or three prices. A geometric overshirt is Rs. 1,259 in green and Rs. 1,799 in grey, cream and blue. A stretch checked shirt runs Rs. 979, Rs. 1,119 and Rs. 1,399 across its eight colours. In several cases the same colour appears at two prices on two listings. The fix is simple: open every swatch and read every price before you add to cart.
The 100% cotton regular-fit T-shirt in navy at Rs. 639, 20% off Rs. 799 — the cheapest garment in our read, and the same tee costs Rs. 799 in the other fourteen colours Snitch lists it in. For shirts, the Slim Fit Stretch Checks Shirt in olive at Rs. 979 is the cheapest of the 1,302 shirts we read and sits at 30%, which is the deepest rate Snitch applies to clothing. For trousers, the washed straight-fit jeans at Rs. 1,614 are the cheapest denim on the page, and the baggy stretch chinos at Rs. 1,439 are cheaper still.
More than usual, yes — and that is a genuinely unusual thing to be able to write. On most Indian retail sites the struck-through MRP is a figure the product has never sold at. At Snitch we checked the strikethroughs against the rest of each style-code group and found they generally match the live, add-to-cart price of the same garment in a different colour, on the same site, the same day. The Rs. 1,799 crossed out on the green overshirt is what the grey one actually costs right now. So the saving is real, and better still, it is one you can verify yourself in two clicks.
On clothing, 30% is the ceiling and only thirteen garments in 2,858 listings reach it. The apparel ladder takes exactly five values — 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% — with 624 items at 20%, 130 at 10%, 16 at 15%, 13 at 30% and precisely one item in the entire catalogue at 25%. Anything deeper than 30% at this store is not clothing: the VITTO and BLINK suitcases run 37% to 48%, which is the only part of the catalogue where discounting looks like conventional retail. Since the percentage comes from a five-item menu, it cannot tell you which garment is good value. The rupee price and the fabric can.
