Nykaa Fashion Prices September 2026: 92 of 142 Listings Under Rs. 1,500

We read 142 in-stock clothing listings from Nykaa Fashion's own category API on 4 September 2026 — 76 from the women's shelf, 66 from the men's. Sort them by badge and the money runs the wrong way.

The 10 listings badged 70% or more sell at a median of Rs. 978, off a stated median maximum retail price of Rs. 3,749. The 35 listings badged 32% or less sell at a median of Rs. 1,168 — about Rs. 190 more — off a stated median MRP of Rs. 1,599, less than half the reference price of the deep-badge group.

So the deeper badge is attached to the cheaper garment, and the whole difference sits in the number the percentage is measured from. We cannot verify whether any stated MRP on this shelf was ever a live selling price, we make no claim either way, and no wrongdoing by Nykaa Fashion or by any brand named is alleged or implied. What the numbers show plainly is that on this aisle the badge tells you about the reference price and not about how much clothing your rupee is buying.

Across the 142 listings prices run Rs. 210 to Rs. 5,368 at a median of Rs. 1,255 and a median 47% off. Forty-six are under Rs. 1,000 and 92 — almost two-thirds of the shelf — are under Rs. 1,500.

The two middle bands hold most of it: 41 listings between Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 and 46 between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,500, 87 of 142 between them. Below Rs. 500 there are only five things, and two of those are socks and shoe-bite pads rather than clothing. Above Rs. 2,500 there are 20, and that band is where the imported and premium labels sit — Cider, ONLY, Park Avenue, Nike.

Notice what the median badge does as you move up: 67% in the sub-Rs. 500 band, 53% between Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000, then 45%, 45% and 41%. The cheaper the band, the deeper the badge — which is the same finding as the table above, read a different way.

Group the 142 listings by brand and a pattern shows up that is hard to read as per-product markdown. BROADSTAR is badged 58% on all five of its listings. Mabish By Sonal Jain is 60% on all five. PIMU is 75% on four of five. Twenty Dresses by Nykaa Fashion — the house label — sits inside a 30–32% band on all ten of its listings.

Read across the brands and the badge is closer to a house rate than to a markdown on individual stock. The Indian Garage Co's seven listings run 55–64% at a median Rs. 864. Louis Philippe's four run 34–41% at a median Rs. 968 — roughly the same money, half the badge. Cider is the outlier at the top: nine listings at a median Rs. 3,355, comfortably the dearest cluster on the shelf, badged a median 45%.

None of this is improper and we are not suggesting it is. It does mean that if you filter or sort this shelf by discount, you are mostly sorting by which label a garment carries.

The two shelves have almost nothing in common brand-wise — the women's shelf is led by Twenty Dresses, Cider, PIMU and Mabish; the men's by The Indian Garage Co, WROGN, Snitch and Louis Philippe — and yet they price almost identically.

Women: 76 listings, median Rs. 1,135 off a stated median Rs. 2,599, median 49% off, 52 of 76 under Rs. 1,500. Men: 66 listings, median Rs. 1,260 off a stated median Rs. 2,449, median 45% off, 40 of 66 under Rs. 1,500. A Rs. 125 gap in the median and four percentage points in the badge.

The one real difference is at the ends. The women's shelf runs further in both directions — from a Rs. 210 Nykd tee to a Rs. 5,368 Poppi maxi dress — while the men's shelf tops out at Rs. 4,362 and has fewer things under Rs. 500.

Not one of the 142 listings carries a star rating or a review count. That is not our reader missing a field: Nykaa Fashion's category payload contains no rating, rating-count or review-count field at all, so there is nothing to display at the listing layer.

It is worth being precise about what that does and does not mean. It does not mean the clothes are unreviewed, and individual product pages may carry information we did not read. What it means practically is that while you are comparing two tops on a Nykaa Fashion listing page, your inputs are brand, price and the photograph — and, as the tables above show, the badge is mostly telling you about the brand.

Compare rupees, not percentages. The single clearest number on this page is that the 70%-plus group sells for a median Rs. 978 and the 32%-or-less group for a median Rs. 1,168. If you sort by discount you will not be sorting by value.

Know that the badge is mostly a brand rate. BROADSTAR at a flat 58%, Mabish at a flat 60%, Twenty Dresses inside 30–32% on every listing — the percentage moves with the label far more than with the garment.

Set a band, not a badge. Rs. 500–1,500 holds 87 of the 142 listings we read; below Rs. 500 there is almost nothing but tees and accessories, and above Rs. 2,500 you are in imported and premium-label territory. And because no listing here shows a rating, look the specific item up somewhere that has reviews before committing.
