NMAT 2020 Registration will begin from July 2 and candidates can register till October 5, 2020. It is a national level MBA entrance exam, conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). A salient feature of NMAT is that candidates can retake the test thrice within a 75 day testing window from October 6 to December 19, 2020. It is a mandatory entrance test for admission into NMIMS Mumbai, and other MBA colleges across the country. NMIMS Mumbai, ISB (Certificate program), SPJIMR Mumbai (PGMPW), VIT Vellore, ISB (Certificate program), XIM Bhubaneswar and many other MBA colleges in India accept NMAT as an eligibility criterion.

The exam operates in five windows, which will begin tentatively on October 17, 2020, and lasts till December 17, 2020. The five windows are:
NMAT Window 1 = October 6 to October 16, 2020: The first paper and cycle is done.
NMAT Window 2 = October 16 to November 2, 2020: NMAT window 1 result is out. Study and analyze it, and decide whether you wish to retake the exam.
NMAT Window 3 = November 3 to November 17, 2020: Counseling for the top tier candidates, targeting IIMs. Candidates reaching for a very good percentile are filtered.
NMAT Window 4 = November 18 to December 2, 2020: CAT 2020 and IIFT 2020 lie in the 4th NMAT window. Selected candidates appear in this window.
NMAT Window 5 = December 3 to December 19, 2020: The last leg of the paper pattern exam. Only sure candidates appear in it.

Once the students provide their NMAT 2020 registration fee, the students will get a password and username within 24 hours in the registered mail. On the other hand, the candidates can select their preferable time slot, examination centre and date.
NMAT Exam does not offer reserved seats for designated categories along with the Reservation guidelines of the Government of India. The Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Physical Disabled (PD)/ Person with Disability (PwD) and Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy layer) do not get a reserved seat during the admission process.
NMAT Centres are set by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) for candidates aiming to appear in NMAT 2020 MBA entrance exam.
