UPDATE 1NEET 2020 has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It will now be held on 13th September 2020. Admit cards will be released 10 days prior.

UPDATE 2NEET 2020 Correction Window was extended till 14th July 2020. Candidates can now also update exam city preferences if required.

Conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET is a qualifying test for undergraduate medical programs in India.

NEET 2020 admit card is one of the most important documents for a student appearing for this examination as he or she won't be permitted to enter the examination center without it. Although the exams are postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the registered applicants will be able to download their NEET 2020 Admit Card from the official website - ntaneet.nic.in - soon after the dates for the exam are announced.

Candidates need to remember the Registration number and DOB to access the NEET 2020 Admit card. A soft copy of the link will be sent to the registered email id as a reminder to get the print of it. So, you should keep checking your email id around the mentioned date. In case of any discrepancy, candidates can directly contact the conducting authority on their helpline number or use correction facility on the official website open until 31st May 2020. Candidates are required to bring two passport size photographs and a government-approved photo ID on the day of the exam.

Instructions on the NEET 2020 Admit Card

Following instructions are printed on the NEET 2020 Admit Card and should be strictly adhered to:

  • Candidates are advised to set their watch with the NTA NEET website clock.
  • Candidates are prohibited from carrying any eatable or water bottles, electronic gadgets, ornaments, wallets, etc.
  • If the candidates are found entering the examination hall with any of the prohibited items, they will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
  • They should arrive at the exam center a day before the examination.

There are certain changes made in the NEET 2020 Admit Card:

  • From 2019, the NEET admit card included only the main admit card details and instructions. The proforma which was present till 2018, was no longer present.
  • From 2019, the NTA introduced a separate page for “Important Instructions” on the admit card.

How to Download NEET 2020 Admit Card?

Steps to follow to download NEET 2020 Admit Card:-

  1. First, you have to go to the official NTA NEET website i.e. ntaneet.nic.in.
  2. Then, Click on the ‘NEET 2020 Admit Card’ link.
  3. Once you open the page, fill the following details: Registration No., Date of Birth, Security Pin and click ‘Submit’.
  4. A new page will now appear after you fill the details, having your medical examination credentials and your NEET 2020 Admit Card.
  5. Now, you can download and print your NEET 2020 admit card for future use.

How to Download NEET 2020 Admit Card?

Points to be noted while downloading NEET 2020 Admit Card:

  • Candidates are required to take a coloured print out of the NEET 2020 Admit Card.
  • Candidates must affix a passport size photograph on the space provided on NEET 2020 Admit card.
  • The NEET 2020 Admit card must be signed by a parent or a guardian.

Documents to be Carried with the NEET 2020 Admit Card

Failure of presenting the necessary documents along with the hall ticket will lead to barring the candidate from entering the examination hall. Following documents are required to be carried along with the NEET 2020 Admit Card:

  • Passport-sized photograph (minimum 2).
  • The proforma with the postcard-size photograph affixed to it.

Forgot NEET Login ID and Password?

In case you forget your id/ password, you can retrieve it from the official website by following the below-mentioned steps:

  1. Visit the NEET Official Website and then click on the Candidate Login.
  2. Select the ‘Forgot Password’ link.
  3. Now enter you are:- Enter Registration No., Candidate’s Name, DOB and security pin.
  4. Choose the option through which you want to reset your password for NEET.

The options can be via- OTP/ Security Question/ Mobile No. and Email ID.

In case you are unable to download your NEET 2020 Admit Card, it is suggested that you visit the site after some time because there might be disturbance due to heavy traffic on the page.

Students can download the NEET 2020 Admit Card again from the PDF sent by NTA on the registered email id, in case you lose it.

NEET 2020 Dress Code

It is important the candidates appearing for this entrance follow the NEET 2020 dress code, as suggested by NTA.

  • Candidates must be dressed in a manner so that they will be comfortable but should avoid long sleeves.
  • Covered footwears will not be permitted.
  • Candidates who are unwell and may need to wear something that does not fulfil the criteria, in that case, they must take prior permission from the NTA.

NEET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines: Instructions

  1. Any communication device/ mobile phones are prohibited in the examination hall.
  2. Instructions provided in the NEET 2020 Admit Card must be strictly adhered to as the infringement of the same would lead to serious disciplinary actions and banning of the student from appearing in the future NEET examinations.
  3. There are two exam slots available - “A” and “B”, the entry time of which is 7:30 to 8:30 AM and 8:30 to 9:30 AM respectively. It is very important for students to be on time.
  4. Documents that are to be carried on the day of examination includes NEET 2020 Admit Card, Passport sized photograph.
  5. Candidates must carry the NEET 2020 admit card that must be signed by a parent/guardian.
  6. He/she must produce the NEET 2020 admit card on demand.
  7. It is mandatory to undergo security procedures, such as body scanners and frisking. Candidates are thus advised to cooperate with the security personnel present at the exam center.
  8. Candidates who intend to use their scribe must carry a ‘Letter of Undertaking’ to the exam center.
  9. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before 5:00 pm.
  10. All those appearing for the examination must note that the attendance sheet has to be signed twice, the first time would be right after the examination begins and the second time while handing over the answer sheet. Any candidate who fails to sign twice will be considered absent.
