Thirty-two windcheater listings read on 14 October. Four unrelated brands strike through the same Rs. 1,999, and the badge does the rest.
A windcheater grid is thirty near-identical zip-up jackets with a big percentage printed beside each one, so the percentage is worth a second look. Across the 32 listings Myntra returned on 14 October, seven jackets from four unrelated brands state an MRP of exactly Rs. 1,999 - and sell at Rs. 488, Rs. 580, Rs. 580, Rs. 599, Rs. 639, Rs. 739 and Rs. 1,099. The badges beside them read 76% down to 45%, a 31-point spread computed against one shared number. Two further pairs of listings publish the same rating pool twice over.
Every price below was pulled from Myntra on October 14, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Three habits survive this read. First, look at the strike-through figure rather than the percentage — when seven jackets from four brands share one Rs. 1,999, their badges are measuring that number and not the deal. Second, check the stated MRP as a multiple of the price: on this shelf the listings with the thickest rating pools state multiples of around 2.1x to 2.7x, while the two publishing no ratings at all state 2.50x and 4.19x. Third, read the rating count and check whether the tile next to it shows the same one — four of these 32 listings run on two shared pools, so an 864-rating jacket sitting beside another 864-rating jacket is one set of 864 reviews, not two. And remember that none of these numbers describes the fabric; we did not wear or weather-test anything.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count on this page was parsed on 14 October 2026 from the window.__myx JSON that myntra.com serves with its own men-windcheater listing page, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 32 distinct listings were returned and 22 are seated.
The listing feed returns some products more than once. Rows were deduplicated on Myntra's own product id before anything was counted, so the 32 are 32 distinct listings. Where two tiles share a price, a stated MRP and a rating pool but carry different product ids and different photographs - as two pairs here do - both are kept and both are seated, because they are separate listings in the grid a shopper actually sees.
Seven listings across four brand names state an MRP of exactly Rs. 1,999 and sell at Rs. 488, Rs. 580, Rs. 580, Rs. 599, Rs. 639, Rs. 739 and Rs. 1,099, badged 76%, 71%, 71%, 70%, 68%, 63% and 45%. All seven are seated rather than a selection, so the 2.25x price range and the 31-point badge spread can be checked against the cards rather than taken on trust.
Two WILD COPS listings both display 3.7 stars from 43 ratings at an identical Rs. 580, and two GEE 5 listings both display 4.1 from 864 at an identical Rs. 618 - four tiles running on two bodies of review. Pooling ratings across colourways is ordinary retail practice, but it means the rating count cannot separate those tiles, so each of the four cards says so outright.
On this shelf the pools run from none at all to 4,866, and the largest pools are not at the dear end: two jackets at the identical Rs. 1,007 carry 12 and 875 ratings. A star average without its sample size is not readable, so every card prints both, several state outright that their pool is too thin to conclude from, and no card represents a rating as our assessment of a garment.
'Windcheater', 'breathable', 'sporty', 'tailored', 'relaxed fit', 'oversized fit', 'mock collar', 'colourblocked' and every stated fabric, fit and finish are the listings' own printed words, reproduced as printed. We did not buy, unpack, wear, wash, wet or wind-test anything, and nothing here is a statement about warmth, water resistance, breathability, stitching, sizing accuracy or fitness for any purpose.
In this read of 32 listings on 14 October 2026, men's windcheaters ran from Rs. 488 to Rs. 1,693. The bulk of the shelf sits between Rs. 570 and Rs. 1,010. The best-evidenced listings - those carrying more than 2,000 ratings - sold at Rs. 529, Rs. 639, Rs. 814 and Rs. 1,294. Prices change continuously, so check the live page.
We can only report that they do. Seven listings across four unrelated brand names state an MRP of exactly Rs. 1,999 and sell at Rs. 488, Rs. 580, Rs. 580, Rs. 599, Rs. 639, Rs. 739 and Rs. 1,099 - a 2.25x price range under one strike-through figure. The badges beside them read 76%, 71%, 71%, 70%, 68%, 63% and 45%. On this shelf Rs. 1,999 identifies a price band rather than a product or a maker, so two listings sharing it are not comparable on their badges. Setting a list price is an ordinary and lawful commercial decision and no wrongdoing is alleged or implied by anyone.
Every percentage here is arithmetic over two numbers a seller chose, and we have not verified that any jacket was ever sold at its stated MRP. What the arithmetic does show on this shelf is where the deep badges come from: the deepest badge, 76%, appears twice - once on the cheapest jacket in the read at Rs. 488 and once on a Rs. 1,693 jacket stating Rs. 7,099, the highest MRP on the shelf. Those two listings are 3.47 times apart in what you actually pay and carry the identical percentage. The badge is a statement about the strike-through figure.
Because reviews are pooled across colourways of one garment. In this read two WILD COPS listings both display 3.7 stars from 43 ratings at an identical Rs. 580, and two GEE 5 listings both display 4.1 from 864 at an identical Rs. 618 - four tiles, two bodies of review, different product ids and different photographs. Pooling ratings across variants is standard retail practice and nothing here alleges otherwise; the practical effect is that the rating count cannot tell those tiles apart, and a shopper reading both sets of reviews has read one set twice.
In this read, a windcheater jacket at Rs. 1,294 carried 4,866 ratings at a 4.1 star average - the largest pool among all 32 listings, ahead of a Rs. 639 jacket at 3,642 and a Rs. 529 one at 2,087. It was badged 63% against a stated Rs. 3,499. Rating counts are the listings' own published figures on the date read; a star average is not our assessment of any garment, and we did not buy, wear or test any of them.
