Two Myntra brands account for every 65% badge in a 68-listing read. One runs three prices and holds the badge still. Neither publishes a single rating.
We read 68 men's kurta and kurta-set listings from Myntra's own listing data on 27 October 2026. Fourteen of them are badged exactly 65% off, all fourteen belong to just two brands, and not one of the fourteen publishes a rating. One brand holds 65% across Rs. 2,299, Rs. 2,199 and Rs. 2,099; the other repeats Rs. 699 against Rs. 1,999 six times over. Elsewhere on the shelf, four pairs of listings report identical rating counts - the signature of one product listed twice. Prices run Rs. 400 to Rs. 2,299 and badges run 52% to 85%, and the two rarely move together.
Every price below was pulled from Myntra on October 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Two brands account for every 65% tile in the read. One runs three prices and holds the badge still; the other repeats a single price six times. Between them they are 14 of the 68 listings, and not one publishes a rating.
Rs. 2,299 against a stated Rs. 6,499, badged 65% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot it is the dearest listing in the read and the first of eight from one brand that all carry the identical badge, none of which publishes a rating.
Rs. 2,199 against a stated Rs. 6,199, badged 65% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot it is the second of the three price points this brand uses and it shows the badge is held constant while the price moves.
Rs. 2,099 against a stated Rs. 5,999, badged 65% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot three different prices at one badge from one brand is the point at which the pattern stops looking like coincidence.
Rs. 2,299 against a stated Rs. 6,499, badged 65% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot it closes the cluster by returning to the top price, so the full run of one brand across three prices at one badge is visible rather than asserted.
Rs. 699 against a stated Rs. 1,999, badged 65% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot it is the first of six listings from one brand that share a price, an MRP and a badge, which is the cheap-end version of the same pattern.
Rs. 699 against a stated Rs. 1,999, badged 65% — no rating published
Why it earned its spot seating two of the six side by side makes the repetition checkable instead of something you have to take on trust.
Four pairs of listings from a single brand report identical rating counts - 768, 533, 3,073 and 74. Six of those tiles are seated here, next to the two listings that between them hold most of the shelf's rating volume.
Rs. 1,202 against a stated Rs. 3,249, badged 63% — 768 ratings
Why it earned its spot it opens the second finding: four pairs of Jompers listings each share a rating count, which is how one product listed twice shows itself.
Rs. 1,202 against a stated Rs. 3,249, badged 63% — 768 ratings
Why it earned its spot it completes the first pair so the shared count can be read off both cards rather than described.
Rs. 1,202 against a stated Rs. 3,249, badged 63% — 533 ratings
Why it earned its spot one shared count could be chance; a second pair at a different count makes it a property of how this brand lists.
Rs. 1,202 against a stated Rs. 3,249, badged 63% — 533 ratings
Why it earned its spot the two titles in this pair differ by the case of a single word, which is the clearest version of the duplicate signature in the whole read.
Rs. 876 against a stated Rs. 2,699, badged 68% — 3,073 ratings
Why it earned its spot it is the third rating-count pair and the one with the biggest number attached, so it is where a shopper is most likely to be reassured twice by one pool.
Rs. 876 against a stated Rs. 2,699, badged 68% — 3,073 ratings
Why it earned its spot it closes the third pair, and at Rs. 876 it is the cheapest of the duplicated price points.
Rs. 721 against a stated Rs. 2,699, badged 73% — 15,034 ratings
Why it earned its spot it is the best-evidenced listing of all 68 and the natural counterweight to the fourteen unrated tiles this page opens with.
Rs. 971 against a stated Rs. 3,599, badged 73% — 9,670 ratings
Why it earned its spot it is the second-best-evidenced listing in the read and shows the top of this shelf's rating distribution is not a single outlier.
85% down to 52%, the two largest stated MRPs on the shelf, and the cheapest listing of all 68 - the Rs. 400 kurta that is not the most deeply discounted one.
Rs. 898 against a stated Rs. 5,599, badged 84% — 1,784 ratings
Why it earned its spot it is one of the two deepest badges in the read and it sits on a listing that does publish a substantial rating count, which makes it the fair comparison.
Rs. 617 against a stated Rs. 3,999, badged 85% — 433 ratings
Why it earned its spot 85% is the ceiling of this shelf and belongs on the page next to the 52% floor at pick 19.
Rs. 1,671 against a stated Rs. 10,449, badged 84% — 982 ratings
Why it earned its spot it carries the highest reference price in the read, which is the single number most likely to shape what a shopper thinks the garment is worth.
Rs. 2,149 against a stated Rs. 10,299, badged 79% — 74 ratings
Why it earned its spot it is the second-largest stated MRP and the second-dearest listing in the read, so it shows both ends of the claim at once.
Rs. 822 against a stated Rs. 1,699, badged 52% — 326 ratings
Why it earned its spot 52% is the floor of the whole shelf, and the listing costs more than the 85% tile at pick 16, which is the inversion this page is about.
Rs. 400 against a stated Rs. 999, badged 60% — 533 ratings
Why it earned its spot it is the floor of the price range and the only listing in the read under Rs. 450, so it anchors the bottom of the shelf.
First, check whether the listing has a rating at all. 20 of the 68 here publish none, and that includes every single 65% tile - the fourteen most uniformly discounted listings on the shelf are also the fourteen with no buyer feedback. Second, look for a repeated rating count. Two tiles reporting the same number are almost always one product, so comparing them gives you one opinion, not two. Third, read the stated MRP, not the percentage. 22 listings claim more than four times what they charge, and the badge range of 52% to 85% is produced almost entirely by those figures. Fourth, read the title for description - four listings in this read are titled only "Men Kurta" with nothing else said about them. Prices change without notice and cart-level coupons are not visible in this data - check the live listing before buying.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count on this page came from the product data myntra.com itself serves, read on 27 October 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing bought. The paths were men-kurta-sets and men-kurtas, returning 68 listings. Every median, range and count quoted is computed over all 68, not over the 20 seated here.
This page is ordered so that the repetitions are visible: the fourteen 65% tiles first, then the pairs that share a rating count, then the extremes. Nothing is seated because it is a good deal and nothing is dropped for being a bad one. Both ends of the price range (Rs. 400 and Rs. 2,299) and both ends of the badge range (52% and 85%) are on the page.
Where two listings report the same rating count we say so and explain why that usually means one product listed twice - ratings pool at the product rather than the tile. We have not handled any of these kurtas and make no claim that two tiles sharing a count are the same garment. Listing a product under more than one tile is routine retail practice and nothing here alleges wrongdoing by Myntra or any brand.
22 of the 68 listings state an MRP more than four times their selling price, the largest being Rs. 10,449 on a Rs. 1,671 kurta. We reproduce those figures and compute the multiple from them. We do not assert that any kurta ever sold at its stated MRP, and we do not allege that any stated MRP is false or improper.
This is a price read. No kurta has been ordered, delivered, worn, washed or measured, and no claim is made about cotton content, stitching, embroidery, colourfastness, shrinkage or sizing. "Pure Cotton", "Thread Work", "Sequinned" and "Embroidered" are the listings' own words, reproduced and not verified.
Across 68 listings read on 27 October 2026 from Myntra's own men's kurta and kurta-set paths, prices ran Rs. 400 to Rs. 2,299 with a median of Rs. 964. The discount badge ran 52% to 85%, median 65.5%. The cheapest listing was a Rs. 400 printed kurta badged 60%; the dearest was Rs. 2,299 badged 65%.
In this read, 14 of the 68 listings carry exactly 65%, and all 14 come from just two brands. One has eight listings at three prices (Rs. 2,299, Rs. 2,199, Rs. 2,099) whose stated MRPs are each set so the discount lands on 65%; the other has six listings all at Rs. 699 against Rs. 1,999. A badge is arithmetic on the MRP a seller prints, so holding the badge constant across prices is straightforward. None of those 14 listings publishes a rating.
Usually yes. Ratings pool at the product rather than at the individual tile, so an identical count on two tiles is the ordinary signature of one product listed more than once. In this read, four pairs from a single brand shared counts of 768, 533, 3,073 and 74 - eight tiles resolving to four pools. We have not handled the garments and do not claim they are identical; the published numbers are.
It means the seller stated a high MRP. The deepest badge in this read, 85%, is on a Rs. 617 kurta against a stated Rs. 3,999 - 6.5 times the price. The shallowest, 52%, is on a Rs. 822 kurta against Rs. 1,699. The 52% kurta costs Rs. 205 more than the 85% one, and 22 of the 68 listings state an MRP above four times their price. We report stated MRPs as published figures and allege nothing about them.
In this read, a Rs. 721 printed sequinned kurta with 15,034 ratings at a 4.2 average - far above the median of 461 across the 48 listings that publish a count. The second is a Rs. 971 kurta with 9,670. 20 of the 68 listings publish no rating at all, including every one of the fourteen 65% tiles. A large count means many people bought and rated it; it is not a measure of fabric quality.
