1,835,448 ratings across 126 listings. The deepest badge on the wall has seventy votes. Twenty-four picks read on August 11.
We read 126 Myntra beauty listings on August 11, 2026 and seated 24. This is the best-evidenced wall we have read anywhere: 113 rows carry a rating and they hold 1,835,448 votes between them. It is also the clearest case we have found of the badge and the crowd pointing in opposite directions. The 42 rows above ten thousand ratings have a median discount of 18.5 per cent. The 28 rows badged 50 per cent or deeper have a median of 63 ratings. And the wall's eight deepest badges are one product split eight ways.
Every price below was pulled from Myntra on August 11, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: on this category the rating count is the number that carries information and the badge is the one that does not - 42 listings here clear ten thousand votes, and their median discount is 18.5 per cent. Second: check whether one product has been split into several listings, because eight rows in this read are the same lipsticks in different shade bundles, each holding a fragment of one crowd - the same catalogue-depth problem we found across the activewear wall. Third: learn the three fragrance concentrations, since body spray, eau de toilette and eau de parfum differ in how much fragrance oil is in the bottle and in nothing else, and compare rupees per millilitre within one of them. Fourth: never count SPF in a pressed powder as sun protection, because powder cannot be applied at the density the factor is measured at. Fifth: buy shade-independent products - kajal, brow powder, skincare - with confidence online, and match foundation at your jawline in daylight, the same buy-what-you-can-verify logic we applied on the saree wall.

113 of our 126 rows carry a rating and they hold 1,835,448 votes between them, which makes this the best-evidenced category we have read. It also makes the pattern visible: the 42 rows carrying ten thousand ratings or more have a median badge of 18.5 per cent, while the 28 rows badged 50 per cent or deeper have a median of 63 ratings. The eight deepest-badged listings in the read - all 83 per cent off - share 170 votes between them. When both numbers are published, the count is the one that carries information between listings and the badge is the one that does not.
The relationship above is a median, not a law, and a page that only showed the convenient cases would be misleading. So chapter three exists: a Rs. 97 perfume badged 72 per cent off with 63,826 ratings, a 79 per cent badge with 14,868, a 75 per cent bridal kit with 24,222. The top card of chapter one is a moisturiser at 50 per cent off with 122,963 ratings - the largest crowd in the entire read on a genuine half-price badge. The honest summary is that a deep badge with a large crowd is uncommon here but real, and the way to find it is to check the count rather than to assume either way.
One set of four liquid lipsticks appears in this read as eight separate listings, differing only in which shade numbers are bundled, all priced at exactly Rs. 170 from exactly Rs. 996. Their rating counts are 0, 0, 6, 8, 10, 38, 38 and 70. Had those eight listings been one, it would carry 170 votes and look like a modestly-evidenced product rather than eight thinly-evidenced ones. We seated one representative rather than letting that catalogue split shape the page, and the same applies to the seven listings from one label at an identical Rs. 1,499 and the three at an identical Rs. 289.
Niacinamide has solid published support for evening skin tone and reducing the appearance of pores. Ceramides genuinely replace the lipids a damaged barrier has lost, and panthenol soothes without sensitising. Rice water, on the same listings, is a marketing note rather than a mechanism. And SPF20 in a pressed powder compact is not sun protection, because powder cannot be applied at the density a sun protection factor is measured at - we say so on that card rather than repeating the number. Fragrance concentration is the other thing worth knowing: body spray, eau de toilette and eau de parfum differ in how much fragrance oil is in the bottle and in nothing else.
On this wall, usually the opposite. In our August 11, 2026 read of 126 Myntra beauty listings, the 42 rows carrying ten thousand ratings or more had a median discount of 18.5 per cent, while the 28 rows badged 50 per cent or deeper had a median of just 63 ratings. The eight deepest-badged listings in the whole read - all at 83 per cent off - shared 170 votes between them. Products with real demand behind them do not need a deep badge to sell, and an inflated MRP is the cheapest way to make an unknown product look like a bargain. That said, it is a tendency rather than a rule: a moisturiser at 50 per cent off carries 122,963 ratings, and a Rs. 97 perfume at 72 per cent carries 63,826. Read the count.
Concentration of fragrance oil, and essentially nothing else. Body spray is the lightest, with a small proportion of oil in a large volume of carrier - it is meant to be sprayed generously and typically fades within a couple of hours. Eau de toilette carries more, and generally lasts two to four hours. Eau de parfum is the strongest of the three commonly sold and usually lasts five hours or more, which is why a small EDP bottle can outlast a large body spray. An attar is different again: an oil-based, usually alcohol-free perfume that sits close to the skin, projects very little and lasts a long time. Compare prices per millilitre within one concentration, never across them.
Seventeen of our 126 rows carried no discount at all, and they fall into two clear groups. One is brands that decline to state an inflated MRP - one retailer's own label filed seven listings in our read at a median badge of nought per cent, four of them at exactly Rs. 1,499, and another brand filed three at exactly Rs. 289. The other is products at the top of the price range, including the dearest listing in the whole read at Rs. 2,750. In both cases the stated MRP is close to what the product actually sells for, so there is no room in it for a badge. A brand that never discounts is telling you its price is real, which is more useful information than an 83 per cent claim.
No, and it is worth being clear about this. A sun protection factor is measured at an application density of 2 mg per square centimetre, which is a thick, visible layer that nobody applies with a pressed powder or a foundation - most people use a small fraction of it. So a compact marked SPF20 does not deliver anything like SPF20 in real use. It is not useless, but it should be treated as a small bonus on top of actual protection rather than as the protection itself. Apply a dedicated sunscreen underneath your makeup, let it set, and treat any SPF figure on a colour cosmetic as marketing rather than as a number you can rely on.
The Lakme 9to5 Eyeconic kajal set at Rs. 247 is the one we would point most people at: two pencils, 115,564 ratings at 4.5, and kajal needs no shade matching, which makes it the safest thing on this entire wall to buy without seeing it. In skincare, the Reequil ceramide and hyaluronic moisturiser at Rs. 265 carries 30,228 ratings and is the cheapest well-evidenced option, while the CeraVe cream at Rs. 387 is the fragrance-free choice for skin that has been irritated. In fragrance, the BEARDO 20 ml eau de parfum at Rs. 97 has 63,826 ratings and is the cheapest sensible way to trial a scent you cannot smell first. Avoid buying foundation online unless you already know your shade.
