MAT or Management Aptitude Test is an examination conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for students who wish to apply for PGDM/MBA admission in over 600 participating B-schools of the country. The examination is conducted 4 times in a year and there is no limit for the number of times an individual can take this examination. MAT 2020 Application fee has been increased and is now INR 1650 for single-mode (CBT and PBT) and INR 2750 for both modes of the MAT 2020. MAT 2020 Applications are only accepted via online portal. There is no offline procedure for MAT 2020 Application.

Prior to filling the MAT 2020 Application Form, aspirants must fulfil the MAT 2020 eligibility criteria.
The candidate must have all the important information which shall be required to fill the MAT 2020 Application Form. To do so, here are the documents which must be present while filling the MAT 2020 Application Form.
It is recommended that the candidate fills the MAT 2020 Application Form using an updated web browser on a desktop or laptop computer. Using a mobile device is not recommended.
The MAT 2020 Application Form can be easily filled online only. The procedure consists of a few mandatory steps. The steps to fill the MAT 2020 Application are given below.
Step 1 - Navigate to the official website of MAT 2020 - mat.aima.in - and click on “Register” button. (Note that if you are already registered previously, you only need to pay the application fee and update the details)
Step 2 - Register: The MAT 2020 registration form will be displayed where candidates have to input the important personal details like name, phone number, date of birth, email id and password. These details cannot be modified and must be entered carefully.
Step 3 - Login: Once you have filled in all the important details, you will receive an acknowledgment email for successful registration. You will be able to login to MAT 2020 Portal using email, password and DOB.
Step 4 - Pay the MAT 2020 Application Fee: As you can see in the image below, the process to fill the MAT 2020 Application Form requires you to pay the application fee first. Post that, you can move forward. With payment of MAT 2020 Application Fee, candidates will also be required to choose the mode of examination and preference of exam city (upto 2 cities).
Note: Candidates can pay the fee using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Paytm Wallet or UPI.
Step 6 - Photograph & Signature: Candidates will be required to upload a scanned signature and photograph image in jpg/jpeg format. Guidelines for images are mentioned below.
Step 7 - Input Details: Candidates will now have to input important personal information, qualification and work experience (if any).
Step 8 - Choose Management Institutes: After entering information required in the previous step, candidates have to update their choice of Management Institute (MI). If a candidate has taken both modes of examination, he/she will get 7 options to choose from, while a candidate taking single-mode can choose up to 5 Management Institutes.
Step 9 - Additional Information: Candidates can enter some additional information to add to their profile structure if they wish to.
Step 10 - Print/View: Finally, candidates can print/view the application form after submitting all the details. Printed application form might be useful if a candidate forgets any important information.
Candidates can edit the information except the one entered during registration (Step 1). If a candidate wishes to choose more than 5 (or 7) MIs, an additional fee of INR 118 will be charged for each choice.
Fee for MAT 2020 Application Form has increased this year. There is an increment of INR 100 in each mode and combined. With MAT 2020 Application Fee, candidates can also apply for a few B-schools within the application without any separate application fee.

Candidates are advised to check the MAT 2020 Application Form thoroughly before submitting. This will help them check for any discrepancies and correct them before generation of admit card. Correcting the details is free of cost but changes can be made only to a certain extent.
