The only published difference between the pages is a line about AI Builder credits. Below: every plan's real four-year cost, the renewal rates that the 83% badge does not mention, and a line-by-line comparison of the two pages.

Hostinger's WordPress hosting costs exactly what its web hosting costs
We read hostinger.in's WordPress hosting page and its web hosting page one after the other on 6 September 2026. They sell the same four plans at the same four prices: Single at Rs. 69 a month, Premium at Rs. 149, Unlimited at Rs. 249 and Cloud Startup at Rs. 599, each on the 48-month term.
It is not just the headline rate that matches. The 48-month totals are the same (Rs. 3,312, Rs. 7,152, Rs. 11,952, Rs. 28,752), the renewal rates are the same (Rs. 289, Rs. 449, Rs. 649, Rs. 1,599 a month), and so are the storage figures, the site allowances, the backup schedules, the free domain and the 30-day money-back guarantee.
The only difference we could find between the two pages is one line in the “Build with” list: the web hosting page names AI Builder credits (5 on Single, 15 on Unlimited) and the WordPress hosting page does not. Both pages list WordPress itself and Node.js. If you have been trying to work out which product you need, the pricing answer is that it does not matter.

The number the 83% badge does not mention: Rs. 289
Every price above is an introductory rate for a first term, and the renewal rate is printed on the same card. On Single, Rs. 69 a month becomes Rs. 289 a month — a 319% step. Premium goes Rs. 149 to Rs. 449, Unlimited Rs. 249 to Rs. 649, Cloud Startup Rs. 599 to Rs. 1,599.
Put that on the same 48-month basis the intro price uses and the shape is clear. Single costs Rs. 3,312 for the first four years and Rs. 13,872 for the next four at the published renewal rate. Premium: Rs. 7,152, then Rs. 21,552. The badge is calculated against the struck monthly figure, not against what you will pay from year five.
None of this is hidden — Hostinger prints the renewal rate on the plan card, which is more than some hosts do, and we are not suggesting anything improper. But it is the number that decides what this actually costs, and it is the one the percentage is silent about. We worked the same arithmetic through in our read of the 48-month plan.

Why the term length changes the sticker. The Rs. 69 figure is what a 48-month prepayment works out to per month, not a monthly subscription you can leave at any time. Shorter terms carry higher per-month rates, and the whole first term is charged up front — Rs. 3,312 in one payment on Single. The 30-day money-back guarantee is what covers you if you change your mind early; the
refund terms exclude several things, including domain registrations, so it is worth reading before you buy a four-year term.
Side by side: what actually differs between the two pages
We compared the two pages line by line rather than by impression. Below is every attribute a shopper would reasonably use to choose, and what each page said on 6 September 2026.
The practical reading: “WordPress hosting” here is a positioning of the same shared hosting product, not a separate, differently-priced service. If you land on one page from a search and wonder whether the other is cheaper, it is not.
What we cannot tell you from two pricing pages is whether the underlying service is configured differently — caching, staging, one-click installs and managed updates are the kinds of things a host can attach to a WordPress plan without changing the price. Which plan the numbers point to
One site: Single, at Rs. 69 a month. Ten gigabytes of SSD and one website, with a free domain and weekly backups. The catch is the renewal at Rs. 289, so the honest way to budget it is Rs. 3,312 now and a decision in four years.
Three sites or a small store: Premium at Rs. 149. Twenty gigabytes, three websites and two free mailboxes per website for the first year. Rs. 7,152 for the term, renewing at Rs. 449.
Unlimited at Rs. 249 is where the storage type changes. Fifty gigabytes of NVMe rather than SSD, daily backups rather than weekly, unlimited sites and mailboxes. It is Rs. 11,952 for four years, and at 64% it carries the smallest badge of the four while being the plan whose specification actually steps up. Cloud Startup at Rs. 599 doubles storage again to 100 GB and is aimed at agencies; on our read of the cloud plans, that is the point where the shared-hosting ladder ends.

The free domain is free for one year, and the renewal is separate. A domain that comes bundled with a hosting plan still renews at the registrar's own rate afterwards, which we found runs to four figures on some extensions in

Which Hostinger plan should I buy for one WordPress site?
On price alone, Single at Rs. 69 a month covers one website with 10 GB of SSD storage, a free domain for the first year and weekly backups — Rs. 3,312 for 48 months. Premium at Rs. 149 is the step up if you want three sites, 20 GB and mailboxes, and Unlimited at Rs. 249 is where the specification genuinely changes: 50 GB of NVMe rather than SSD, daily backups rather than weekly, and unlimited sites. Note that Unlimited carries the smallest badge of the four (64%) while offering the biggest step in specification, which is a reminder that the percentage is not tracking value. We have not tested performance on any plan and this is not a recommendation.
Is the free domain with Hostinger hosting actually free?
For the first year, as published. All four plans on both pages list a free domain, with Premium and above describing it as free for one year. What the plan cards do not cover is what the domain costs when it renews, which is billed at the registrar's own rate and is separate from your hosting renewal — in
