Hostinger's Minecraft hosting cards each print four numbers, and only two of them are money you might pay. Game Panel 1 shows Rs. 1,649 struck through, Rs. 649 a month, "61% off", and then - in the same sentence as the 24-month total - "Renews at Rs. 999/mo". The percentage is computed from the first figure. The rate you face in year three is the last one.
We read hostinger.in/minecraft-server-hosting first-party on 5 October 2026. Below: what each of the four Game Panel plans costs upfront, what the renewal step-up actually is tier by tier, the two points where renewing one plan costs exactly what starting the next one does, and what Hostinger says is included.

📅 Update log:
5 October 2026 — First publication. All four Hostinger Game Panel plans read from hostinger.in/minecraft-server-hosting: struck-through rates, introductory monthly rates, discount badges, 24-month totals, stated regular prices and renewal rates, plus the upfront-billing statement, the 30-day money-back guarantee and the published inclusions. Prices verified 5 October 2026.
What the four Game Panel plans cost, as printed
Hostinger sells Minecraft hosting as four VPS plans named Game Panel 1, 2, 4 and 8. Every figure below was read from hostinger.in/minecraft-server-hosting on 5 October 2026, and each plan card carries four separate numbers: a struck-through monthly rate, a discounted monthly rate, a total for the 24-month term, and a renewal rate.
The entry plan is Rs. 649 a month, which the page immediately qualifies: "Get 24 months for Rs. 15,576 (regular price Rs. 39,576). Renews at Rs. 999/mo." The FAQ repeats the entry figure - "Minecraft server hosting prices start from Rs. 649/month for a 24-month plan".
And the page is explicit that none of this is billed monthly: "All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan." Rs. 649 a month means Rs. 15,576 charged at once.
| Plan | Struck rate | You pay now | 24-month total | Renews at |
|---|
| Game Panel 1 | Rs. 1,649/mo | Rs. 649/mo | Rs. 15,576 | Rs. 999/mo |
| Game Panel 2 | Rs. 2,099/mo | Rs. 849/mo | Rs. 20,376 | Rs. 1,199/mo |
| Game Panel 4 | Rs. 3,499/mo | Rs. 1,199/mo | Rs. 28,776 | Rs. 2,399/mo |
| Game Panel 8 | Rs. 6,199/mo | Rs. 2,399/mo | Rs. 57,576 | Rs. 4,399/mo |
The badge is computed against a price nobody ever pays
Each card shows a percentage: 61% off, 60% off, 66% off, 61% off. The arithmetic checks out against the struck figure - Rs. 649 against Rs. 1,649 is 60.6%, rounded to 61; Rs. 1,199 against Rs. 3,499 is 65.7%, rounded to 66.
The problem is what the struck figure represents. Game Panel 1's card says it "Renews at Rs. 999/mo" - so after the first 24 months the rate is Rs. 999, not the Rs. 1,649 the discount is measured from. The Rs. 1,649 is charged at sign-up by nobody and at renewal by nobody.
Measured against what you will actually be charged next, the saving is 35%, not 61%. On Game Panel 4 the badge says 66% and the renewal-relative figure is 50%. That is still a real introductory discount and this page is not suggesting otherwise - the point is that the number to budget against is the renewal rate printed in the same sentence as the badge.
Hostinger prints the renewal rate on the card itself, in the same line as the 24-month total. That is more disclosure than many hosts give - the figure is there to be read, which is why this page can quote it. The arithmetic below is ours; the rates are theirs.
What year three costs: a 41% to 100% step-up
Take each plan's introductory monthly rate to its stated renewal rate and the increases are uneven in a way the badges do not hint at.
Game Panel 1: Rs. 649 to Rs. 999, up 54%. Game Panel 2: Rs. 849 to Rs. 1,199, up 41%. Game Panel 4: Rs. 1,199 to Rs. 2,399, up 100%. Game Panel 8: Rs. 2,399 to Rs. 4,399, up 83%.
Game Panel 4 - the plan carrying the deepest advertised badge, 66% - is the one whose price exactly doubles at renewal. Game Panel 2, with the shallowest badge at 60%, has the gentlest step-up of the four.
In rupees over a second 24-month term: Rs. 23,976, Rs. 28,776, Rs. 57,576 and Rs. 105,576 respectively, against first-term bills of Rs. 15,576, Rs. 20,376, Rs. 28,776 and Rs. 57,576.
| Plan | First 24 months | Next 24 months at renewal | Increase |
|---|
| Game Panel 1 | Rs. 15,576 | Rs. 23,976 | +54% |
| Game Panel 2 | Rs. 20,376 | Rs. 28,776 | +41% |
| Game Panel 4 | Rs. 28,776 | Rs. 57,576 | +100% |
| Game Panel 8 | Rs. 57,576 | Rs. 105,576 | +83% |
Two coincidences worth noticing before you pick a tier
Read the renewal column against the introductory column and the ladder folds onto itself twice.
First: Game Panel 2 renews at Rs. 1,199 a month, which is exactly Game Panel 4's introductory rate. So a Game Panel 2 customer entering year three pays the same monthly figure as a new Game Panel 4 customer - for the smaller plan.
Second: Game Panel 4's second 24 months at Rs. 2,399 a month come to Rs. 57,576 - the exact figure Game Panel 8's first 24-month term costs. Renewing the mid plan and starting the top plan are, over two years, the same money to the rupee.
Neither is hidden and neither is improper; both follow from a price ladder where the renewal rates are set near the next tier's intro rates. But they are the two facts that change what tier is worth buying, and neither appears on any card.
The 30-day money-back guarantee is the real decision window. The page states: "Try it risk-free with our 30-day money-back guarantee." With everything billed upfront for 24 months, those 30 days are when a Rs. 15,576-to-Rs. 57,576 commitment can still be undone. We did not test a refund.
What Hostinger says is included
The page's own description of the product, reproduced as printed and not tested by us: "Instant setup and multiplayer games with unlimited players", "a guaranteed 99.9% uptime", and server locations in "North America, South America, Europe, and India".
On customisation: "Choose from over 2,000 modpacks and switch between them quickly and easily in the easy-to-use dashboard", with mod loaders named in the FAQ - "install a mod loader like Fabric or Forge" - and "full root access to your Minecraft server" with the ability to "switch between Minecraft server types at any time".
On the infrastructure and safety net: AMD EPYC CPUs and NVMe SSDs, "built-in firewall and DDoS protection", and "Automatic backups and a manual snapshot". Hostinger's AI assistant, Kodee, is described as checking "accounts and packages" and monitoring "service updates".
Upgrades are described as available mid-term: "If you want to upgrade your resources, including things like the level of RAM, vCPU and disk space available to you, you can upgrade your package at any time." The page does not state how an upgrade is priced against the remainder of a prepaid term.
Every figure on the Game Panel cards, as printed on 5 October 2026
Game Panel 1: Rs. 1,649/mo struck through, Rs. 649/mo, badged "61% off"; "Get 24 months for Rs. 15,576 (regular price Rs. 39,576). Renews at Rs. 999/mo." Game Panel 2: Rs. 2,099/mo struck, Rs. 849/mo, "60% off"; 24 months Rs. 20,376, regular Rs. 50,376, renews Rs. 1,199/mo. Game Panel 4: Rs. 3,499/mo struck, Rs. 1,199/mo, "66% off"; 24 months Rs. 28,776, regular Rs. 83,976, renews Rs. 2,399/mo. Game Panel 8: Rs. 6,199/mo struck, Rs. 2,399/mo, "61% off"; 24 months Rs. 57,576, regular Rs. 148,776, renews Rs. 4,399/mo. The page states: "All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan," and its FAQ states "Minecraft server hosting prices start from Rs. 649/month for a 24-month plan". A 30-day money-back guarantee is offered. Each 24-month total divides exactly by 24 to the advertised monthly rate, and each "regular price" divides exactly by 24 to the struck monthly rate.
Five things to work out before you pay
- Read the renewal rate, not the badge. "61% off" is measured against Rs. 1,649, a rate that is charged neither now nor at renewal; the renewal is Rs. 999.
- Budget the step-up. It runs +41% to +100% depending on tier, and it is steepest on Game Panel 4, the plan with the deepest advertised discount.
- Know you are paying 24 months at once. "All plans are paid upfront" - Rs. 649/mo is a Rs. 15,576 charge.
- Compare renewing a tier against starting the next one. Game Panel 2 renews at exactly Game Panel 4's intro rate; Game Panel 4's renewal term costs exactly what Game Panel 8's first term does.
- Use the 30 days. The money-back guarantee is the only stated route out of a two-year prepaid commitment.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Minecraft server hosting cost on Hostinger in India?
Four plans, read on 5 October 2026. Game Panel 1 at Rs. 649/mo, Game Panel 2 at Rs. 849/mo, Game Panel 4 at Rs. 1,199/mo and Game Panel 8 at Rs. 2,399/mo - each an introductory rate on a 24-month term. Because "All plans are paid upfront", those are single charges of Rs. 15,576, Rs. 20,376, Rs. 28,776 and Rs. 57,576. Hostinger's own FAQ states prices "start from Rs. 649/month for a 24-month plan". Prices change without notice; the figure at your own checkout prevails.
What does Hostinger's Minecraft hosting renew at?
The renewal rate is printed on each plan card. Game Panel 1 "Renews at Rs. 999/mo", Game Panel 2 at Rs. 1,199/mo, Game Panel 4 at Rs. 2,399/mo and Game Panel 8 at Rs. 4,399/mo. Against the introductory rates that is a step-up of 54%, 41%, 100% and 83% respectively. Over a second 24-month term those rates come to Rs. 23,976, Rs. 28,776, Rs. 57,576 and Rs. 105,576. The arithmetic is ours; the rates are Hostinger's own published figures, read 5 October 2026.
Is Hostinger's "61% off" on Minecraft hosting real?
The percentage is arithmetic over two numbers Hostinger publishes, and it checks out against the struck-through figure: Rs. 649 against Rs. 1,649 is 60.6%, shown as 61%. What is worth knowing is that Rs. 1,649 is not what the plan costs after the discount period - the same card states it "Renews at Rs. 999/mo", so measured against the rate you will actually be charged next, the introductory saving is 35%. It is a genuine introductory discount; the struck figure is simply not the price anyone pays. Nothing here alleges misleading advertising by anyone.
Does Hostinger bill Minecraft hosting monthly?
No, not on these plans. The page states it directly: "All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan." Each 24-month total divides exactly by 24 to the advertised monthly rate - Rs. 15,576 / 24 = Rs. 649, Rs. 57,576 / 24 = Rs. 2,399. So the advertised "per month" figure is an arithmetic description of a two-year charge rather than a billing frequency. Hostinger offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, which we did not test.
Which Hostinger Game Panel plan is worth it?
That depends on your server, and this page does not rank them on performance - we did not buy or provision anything. Two pricing facts are worth weighing. Game Panel 2 renews at Rs. 1,199/mo, which is exactly Game Panel 4's introductory rate, so year three on the smaller plan costs what year one on the bigger one does. And Game Panel 4's second 24 months come to Rs. 57,576 - exactly Game Panel 8's first 24-month bill. Hostinger states that resources including RAM, vCPU and disk space "can upgrade your package at any time", but does not publish how an upgrade is priced against a prepaid term.

Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every plan name, struck-through rate, discounted rate, discount badge, term total, stated regular price and renewal rate here was read on 5 October 2026 from hostinger.in/minecraft-server-hosting, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased, no account created and no server provisioned; quoted sentences are reproduced verbatim from Hostinger's own page. Prices on that page are shown in rupees and are written here as 'Rs.'; hosting prices change frequently and promotional rates are time-limited, so the figures here may already differ from the ones shown to you - the price at your own checkout, and the terms Hostinger displays at that moment, prevail over anything on this page. Every percentage and total on this page other than the badges printed by Hostinger is our own arithmetic over Hostinger's published figures: the renewal step-ups of 41% to 100%, the second-term totals of Rs. 23,976 to Rs. 105,576 and the renewal-relative saving of 35% are computed from the rates as printed and are not figures Hostinger publishes. Reporting that a discount badge is computed against a struck-through rate that differs from the stated renewal rate is a description of published figures; setting introductory and renewal pricing, displaying a regular price and billing a term upfront are ordinary and lawful commercial practices, and nothing on this page alleges misleading advertising, a dark pattern, unfair trade practice or any breach of the Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules or any other law, rule or guideline by Hostinger International Limited, Hostinger Operations UAB or any associated entity, and no wrongdoing is alleged or implied; Hostinger prints the renewal rate on the plan card itself, which is how this page is able to quote it. The 99.9% uptime guarantee, 'unlimited players', instant setup, 2,000-plus modpacks, full root access, AMD EPYC and NVMe hardware, firewall and DDoS protection, automatic backups, data-centre locations and the 30-day money-back guarantee are Hostinger's own published claims, reproduced as printed and not verified, benchmarked or tested by us; we did not buy a plan, provision a server, install a modpack, measure latency or request a refund.
