Hammer audio and wearable products covered by this warranty policy - earbuds in charging cases, a neckband and two smartwatches - shown as they appear in the brand's own product photographs

The most expensive line on Hammer's policy page is one most buyers will read as good news. "If a product is shown as '24 hours Replacement' then it is eligible for Repair/replace only", and such products are "eligible for repair within 48-72 hours of delivery". The hours belong to you, not to the brand, and the remedy named is a repair rather than your money back.

We read hammeronline.in's refund and warranty policy first-party on 4 October 2026. Below: the single 24-hour clock that decides three different outcomes, the clause that puts every accessory outside the warranty, the one-repair-per-product limit that applies across marketplaces too, and the brand's own 10-12 day breakdown of what a claim costs you in time.

"accessories are not covered under warranty ... otherwise, the company is not liable."
📅 Update log:
4 October 2026 — First publication. Hammer's refund, warranty and post-sales policy read in full from hammeronline.in: the "24 hours Replacement" definition and its 48-72 hour repair window, the 24-hour damage reporting clock across returns, refunds and accessories, the exclusion of accessories from warranty, the one-time repair-or-replace limit, the next-working-day response, the 4-5 working day inspection, the 10-12 day total, the marketplace-first advice, and the bank, delivery and partial-COD deductions. Terms verified 4 October 2026.

"24 hours Replacement" is a reporting window, not a turnaround

If a Hammer product page carries a "24 hours Replacement" tag, it is easy to read that as a promise about how fast you get a new one. The policy page says something different, and it says it twice.

"If a product is shown as '24 hours Replacement' then it is eligible for Repair/replace only." And: "Products with '24 hours Replacement' are eligible for repair within 48-72 hours of delivery, in the unlikely event that the product received is damaged."

Two things follow. First, the remedy named is repair or replacement, not a refund. Second, the hours in the badge describe your deadline rather than the brand's. The page then adds a condition on the other side of it: a repair or replacement proceeds "Once the product is received by us and found to be intact with all the accessories".

There is a further restriction most people will never read until they need it: "Repair/replace can be done only one time for any Hammer product (Purchases either from website or any platform)." One remedy per product, across every channel the brand sells through.

Unbox on delivery day and check everything, including the cable. The policy hangs three separate refusals on a 24-hour clock from delivery, and accessories have no warranty at all beyond that window.

The 24-hour clock, and the three things it decides

A single deadline runs through this policy, and it is one of the shortest this site has read anywhere. Three clauses depend on it, in the brand's own words:

Returns: refused for "Products that are received in a damaged condition and are brought to our notice beyond 24 hours of delivery."

Accessories: "accessories are not covered under warranty. If the customer notifies us of a damaged or defective accessory within 24 hours after delivery, we will replace it; otherwise, the company is not liable."

Refunds: "If the customer does not notify physical damage within 24 hours of receiving the product or damage due to electrical surge or any damage caused by the user, a refund will not be entertained."

So the accessory line is the sharpest of the three: a charging cable or an ear tip is outside the warranty entirely, and its only cover is 24 hours from delivery. After that, by the page's own wording, the company states it is not liable. For context, this site has read 48 hours at Dot & Key, two days at Bombay Shaving Company and seven days at Minimalist, Mamaearth and Beardo - 24 hours is the tightest reporting window in that set.

What the repair process actually costs you in time

The page is unusually specific about its own timeline, which is to its credit. "We try our best to have the entire post sale service process sorted out for you as quickly as possible; it usually takes 10-12 days." It then breaks that down.

"Once you've raised a request, you should hear back from us by the next working day. We may have a few questions and clarifications that we may need before we go ahead and approve your repair/replacement request." And after the item arrives: "Once the product has reached us, we will need 4 to 5 working days to have the product inspected and we will update you with the outcome of the inspection thereafter."

Read as a sequence, that is: a day to respond, transit, four to five working days of inspection, then a decision, then transit back - inside a stated 10-12 days. It is a reasonable figure for an audio or wearable brand, and it is a figure the brand publishes rather than leaves vague. What the page does not say is what happens when the inspection does not confirm a defect.

One more line sets the brand's own boundary on what a fault is: a refund is not entertained where a "Customer is not happy with the look or sound quality of a product, as long as it's not actually damaged, defective or faulty." Sound quality you dislike is not, by this policy, a defect.

The exclusions and the refund deductions, in Hammer's own words
  • Buy from a marketplace? "If the Hammer product is purchased from Hammer website or any other platform such as amazon, flipkart, myntra, nykaa, tata cliq etc. than it is advisable to the customers to connect with the platform directly once" - the marketplace first, the brand second.
  • What is covered: "Hammer agrees to repair your product at Hammer's cost, if the product is purchased from Hammer Website or other E-Commerce Platforms and have a manufacturing defect either on arrival or during the warranty term specified".
  • Mishandling: no remedy "If you have mishandled the product or not used it as directed by the brand".
  • Electrical surge: excluded from refunds by name.
  • Delivery delays: "natural calamities, delay due to the logistics partners, unavailability of the customer, etc. are covered under exceptions and a refund will not be entertained under such circumstances".
  • Deductions: "depending on the situation, the amount may be refunded after deducting the bank and delivery charges."
  • COD advance: "Partial COD advance paid amount is non refundable in case of RTO/return or cancellation."
  • Fraud warning on the same page: "We never ask for payment once the order is shipped. Please do not share OTP or make any payment."

The marketplace line is worth acting on. If you bought the product on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa or Tata CLiQ, the brand's own advice is to go to that platform first - which usually means a wider return window than the 24 hours this policy allows, because marketplace return policies are set by the marketplace rather than by Hammer.

And the deduction clause is the reason a refund here is rarely the full amount. Bank and delivery charges may come out, and a partial cash-on-delivery advance does not come back at all on a return, an RTO or a cancellation.

What to do with this before you order

Treat the first 24 hours as the whole policy. Physical damage, a faulty accessory and any route to a refund all depend on notifying the brand inside a day of delivery.

Read the "24 hours Replacement" tag as a deadline, not a service level. It makes a product eligible for repair or replacement reported within 48-72 hours of delivery - and explicitly not for a refund.

If you bought on a marketplace, start there. The brand's own page says to connect with the platform first, and marketplace windows are generally longer than this one.

We did not buy, unbox, use, return, repair or claim anything. Every figure above is Hammer's own published text on 4 October 2026, and nothing here is a statement about product quality, defect rates or what any inspection would conclude. Policies change without notice; the page at the time of your order prevails over anything here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Hammer's "24 hours Replacement" tag actually mean?
Not a 24-hour turnaround. The policy states that "If a product is shown as '24 hours Replacement' then it is eligible for Repair/replace only" and that such products "are eligible for repair within 48-72 hours of delivery, in the unlikely event that the product received is damaged." So the badge describes your window to report a problem and limits the remedy to repair or replacement rather than a refund. Read 4 October 2026; check the live page.
How long do I have to report a damaged Hammer product?
Twenty-four hours from delivery, and the policy hangs three separate refusals on it. Returns are refused for "Products that are received in a damaged condition and are brought to our notice beyond 24 hours of delivery"; a refund is not entertained if "the customer does not notify physical damage within 24 hours of receiving the product"; and a damaged accessory must be reported within 24 hours "otherwise, the company is not liable."
Are Hammer accessories covered under warranty?
No. The policy states it plainly: "accessories are not covered under warranty." Their only protection is the reporting window - "If the customer notifies us of a damaged or defective accessory within 24 hours after delivery, we will replace it; otherwise, the company is not liable." That makes cables, tips and similar items worth checking on delivery day rather than the first time you use them.
How long does a Hammer repair or replacement take?
The page publishes its own breakdown. The whole process "usually takes 10-12 days"; you should hear back "by the next working day" after raising a request; and once the product reaches the brand it needs "4 to 5 working days to have the product inspected" before reporting the outcome. Note also that "Repair/replace can be done only one time for any Hammer product", across the brand's own site and any marketplace.
Will Hammer refund the full amount?
Not necessarily. The policy states that "depending on the situation, the amount may be refunded after deducting the bank and delivery charges" and that "Partial COD advance paid amount is non refundable in case of RTO/return or cancellation." It also rules out a refund where a "Customer is not happy with the look or sound quality of a product, as long as it's not actually damaged, defective or faulty" - so dissatisfaction with sound is not treated as a defect.

Every quoted sentence, window, timeline, exclusion and deduction here was read on 4 October 2026 from hammeronline.in/policies/refund-policy, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased, no account created and no return, repair, replacement or warranty claim raised; quotations are reproduced verbatim from the brand's own page, including its own punctuation, capitalisation and spelling. Policies change without notice: the policy published on hammeronline.in at the time of your order, the warranty terms supplied with your product, and any terms shown at your own checkout prevail over anything on this page. The 10-12 day process, the 4-5 working day inspection, the next-working-day response and the 24-48 hour pickup are the brand's own stated estimates and were not observed or tested by us; we make no statement about product quality, build, sound, battery life, defect rates, how any inspection is conducted or what any inspection would conclude, and nothing here is a claim that any Hammer product is or is not defective. Where this page describes the "24 hours Replacement" tag, it reports what the brand's own policy page says that tag means and does not assert that any product listing is misleading. Comparisons to reporting windows published by Dot & Key, Bombay Shaving Company, Minimalist, Mamaearth or Beardo describe figures this site read from those brands' own pages on the dates stated in the linked articles and may since have changed. Nothing here alleges unfair trade practice, deficiency in service, a dark pattern, misleading advertising or any breach of the Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, the Legal Metrology Act or any other law, rule or guideline by Hammer Lifestyle, by any Hammer entity or by any marketplace, courier or payment partner, and no wrongdoing is alleged or implied; excluding accessories from warranty, setting a short window for reporting transit damage, limiting a remedy to one repair or replacement and deducting bank or delivery charges from a refund are ordinary and lawful commercial practices, and statutory rights where they apply are unaffected by anything described here. Nothing on this page is legal advice, and a buyer with a disputed claim should rely on the brand's own published policy, the warranty card supplied with the product and customer service rather than on this summary.
