Real ratings with the count printed
Croma's feed publishes both an average rating and the number of ratings behind it, so every pick here carries one and nothing with fewer than ten was included. We printed the count in each spec strip, because a 4.8 from 40 and a 4.3 from 202 are different kinds of evidence and the star alone hides that.
We publish the bad ones too

How many watts should a mixer grinder have?
Seven hundred and fifty is the practical floor for Indian cooking. Five hundred watts will make a smoothie and will struggle with wet grinding, soaked dal, coconut or idli batter — which is most of what the appliance is bought for. This page contains both a 500W and a 750W unit from the same brand, Rs. 700 apart, rated 3.6 and 4.3 respectively by similar numbers of people. That gap is the clearest illustration on the page of why the specification matters.
Is a 1400W air fryer good enough, or do I need 2000W?
It depends how often you use it. Two thousand watts crisps the surface; 1400W browns adequately but takes longer and produces a softer result. For two people cooking occasionally, the 4.1L 1400W unit at Rs. 5,299 is entirely reasonable and saves Rs. 6,695 over the flagship. If you air-fry several times a week, the 6.2L 2000W is worth it — and it is the highest-rated product in this sale at 4.8.
Why is a cold press juicer only 240W?
Because low speed is the entire design. A cold press juicer runs at around 50 RPM and crushes fruit rather than shredding it, which avoids the heat and aeration that a fast centrifugal juicer generates — and that is what degrades nutrients and makes juice separate within minutes. So low wattage here is a deliberate specification rather than a cost saving, and it is the one appliance on this page where more power would make the product worse.
Should I buy induction or infrared?
Induction is more efficient and heats faster, but it only works with ferrous cookware — your aluminium kadhai, clay pots and most older Indian vessels will not heat on it at all, which is the limitation nobody mentions until it is too late. Infrared heats the surface, which then heats anything you put on it, at the cost of wasting more heat into the room. If your cookware is mostly stainless steel, buy induction. If it is mixed, buy infrared.
