Croma's online FAQ answers five different questions with a refusal, and four of those answers begin with the same word. No collecting an online order at a store, no shipping an order to a store, no card payment on delivery, no address change once an order is placed, and no edit to any detail on an invoice once it has generated.
We read croma.com/faq first-party on 6 October 2026. Below: what Croma charges for shipping and where that figure appears, the two delivery timelines it publishes, the two-unit cap on a single item, and why the doorstep is the last point at which a buyer still has choices. This page reports a retailer's published terms and nothing more.

Five things Croma's FAQ says it cannot do
Croma runs hundreds of physical stores, which makes the shape of its online FAQ surprising. Five separate answers decline a service, and four of them open with the same word.
On collecting an order in a shop: "Can I buy online and pick delivery from the nearest Croma store? Unfortunately, we do not offer any such facility currently." On the reverse: "Can I ship my order to a Croma store, so I can collect it there? Unfortunately, we do not offer any such facility currently."
On paying at the door by card: "Can I pay with my card on delivery? Unfortunately, we do not offer such payment option currently." On the invoice: "Can I change the Name, Email Address, Contact Number, Residential Address, or GST Number on invoice? Unfortunately, once the invoice is generated, details cannot be changed!"
And on the delivery address: "Address changes are not allowed once the order is placed." Taken together these set the practical rule for buying from croma.com: the checkout screen is where the decisions get made, because almost nothing about an order can be altered afterwards.
Get the delivery address right before you pay, not after. Croma's FAQ declines address changes once an order is placed and declines invoice edits once an invoice is generated - and on an online order the invoice generates before dispatch. The only lever the FAQ describes after that point is cancellation: "You can cancel your order before the product is dispatched by going to your Croma account, selecting 'My Orders,' and then clicking on 'Cancel My Order.'"
Shipping fees apply by default, and the amount is not on the page
This is the answer most worth reading before a cart gets built. "Are there any shipping charges? Shipping fees are applicable on all orders unless otherwise stated during promotional periods or specific product listings. We reserve the right to modify shipping charges at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected at checkout before order confirmation."
Free delivery is framed as the exception here rather than the rule, and the FAQ publishes no figure, no slab and no order value above which shipping stops being charged. The only place the amount appears is at checkout, which the answer says explicitly.
Delivery itself is handled by a mix of Croma's own chain and couriers: "All the orders will be delivered through Supply Chain or through reputed courier service provider like Blue Dart, Delhivery, Ecom Express, Xpressbees, Shadowfax etc." Croma does not ship abroad - "No. Unfortunately, we do not deliver outside India at the moment" - though it will deliver to an Indian address for a buyer anywhere.

Seven working days as standard, same day on Zip
Croma publishes two timelines and they are far apart. "The time taken for delivery depends on the mode of delivery selected during checkout. The general timelines are as follows: Standard Delivery - 7 working days from the order date. Zip delivery - Orders till 4 pm get it same day and after 4 pm customer would get the product next day before 1 pm."
Seven working days is not seven days. Placed on a Friday, a standard order lands the following week's Tuesday at the earliest once two weekends are counted out - which matters if something is being bought against a date.
Tracking lags dispatch by up to a day: "our logistics partners need up to 24 hours to activate the tracking code for an order once dispatched from Croma." And Croma lists its own reasons for delay, including "Incorrect or incomplete delivery address", "Delivery attempted but recipient was unavailable", "Customer not reachable", "Product out of stock", "Product damaged during transit" and force majeure.
The doorstep is a decision point, not a formality
Because the address cannot be changed and the invoice cannot be edited, the moment of delivery is where a buyer's remaining choices sit - and Croma's FAQ is unusually specific about them.
On a damaged or opened box: "If your shipment is unsealed or in tampered condition, we recommend: Step 1 - If you are yet to collect the order, kindly do not accept the order and contact our Customer Support team for further help. Step 2 - If the order has already been collected, you can place a return/replacement request." Refusing the parcel and accepting it lead to two different processes, and only one of them is over in a minute.
On being asked for more money at the door: "Our delivery partners would never ask you to pay anything besides the invoice value, however, if such an instance occurs, we request that you do not accept the order and raise a complaint with us immediately." Croma gives a WhatsApp number for this, 9452594525, which it calls Croma Assist.
And if the warranty card is missing from the box, the invoice does the job: "The invoice you receive with the order can be used to claim the warranty, as it includes your purchase and product details. We send an invoice copy to the registered email address & on WhatsApp registered number for all orders."
Two units is the cap. Croma's FAQ states: "You can order 2 units of a single item for personal use basis availability of the stock." If you are buying three of something - identical fans for a flat, say - the FAQ does not describe a route to doing it in one order.
What this means before you pay
Croma's online order process is front-loaded. The address, the GST number, the invoice details and the quantity are all fixed at checkout, and the FAQ declines to change any of them afterwards. Shipping is charged by default and the amount appears only at that same screen.
What remains available afterwards is narrower but real: cancellation before dispatch through My Orders, refusal at the door if the box is unsealed or the amount demanded exceeds the invoice, and a return or replacement request through Croma Assist on WhatsApp once the parcel has been taken in.
None of this is unusual for an Indian electronics retailer, and none of it is hidden - every sentence quoted here is on Croma's own published FAQ page. It is simply spread across four sections that a shopper reads after a problem rather than before.

Zoutons may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. Every quoted sentence, rule, timeline and figure here was read on 6 October 2026 from croma.com/faq, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased, no order placed, no delivery taken and customer service not contacted; quotations are reproduced verbatim from Croma's own page, including its own capitalisation, spelling and punctuation. A published FAQ can be amended at any time, so the terms described here may already differ from the ones that apply to your order - the terms shown on croma.com and at your own checkout prevail over anything on this page. Shipping charges, delivery timelines, serviceable pin codes, available payment methods and order quantity limits vary by product, by location and by promotional period, and the FAQ itself states that shipping charges may be modified at any time without prior notice; no figure for any shipping fee is quoted here because none is published on the page we read. Reporting that a retailer declines store collection, declines card payment on delivery, declines address changes after ordering, declines invoice amendments, charges for shipping by default or caps an order at two units of an item is a description of published terms; setting delivery, shipping, payment, invoicing and order-quantity conditions is an ordinary and lawful retail practice, and nothing on this page alleges unfair trade practice, deficiency in service, a dark pattern, misleading advertising or any breach of the Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, the Legal Metrology Act or any other law, rule or guideline by Infiniti Retail Limited, by Croma, by Tata Neu, by Blue Dart, Delhivery, Ecom Express, Xpressbees, Shadowfax or by any associated entity, and no wrongdoing is alleged or implied. Courier partners are named because Croma's own FAQ names them; nothing here comments on the service of any of them. We did not place an order, take a delivery, refuse a parcel, request a cancellation, raise a complaint or contact Croma Assist, so this page describes published policy rather than how any of it is applied in practice, and a reader's own experience may differ. Nothing on this page is legal, tax or financial advice. Product photographs are the listings' own images as previously published on croma.com and may be styled or retouched; they illustrate the kind of purchase this page concerns, are not offers, and the prices of the items shown are not stated here.
