Mileage is a key factor for a car’s success in India, especially in the budget and mid-range segments. Automakers in India keep it as a priority while straying into the budget-friendly segments. Mid-size SUVs have seen a sudden boon due to the unlikely attraction of ours for big cars.

This has pushed existing and new automakers to bring out wholesome cars in the market. All the SUVs in this segment are high on performance and figures and have not disappointed in terms of mileage as well. The top performers in terms of fuel efficiency are Kia Seltos, new Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier and MG Hector.
