A hundred and three sandals read on one morning, and only twenty-eight different list prices between them. Thirteen listings print exactly Rs. 1,999 and sell for anything from Rs. 280 to Rs. 1,579.
We read 103 flip-flop and slipper listings on ajio.com on 14 September 2026, and the thing that organises this shelf is not price but list price. There are only twenty-eight distinct MRPs across all 103 tiles, against eighty-four distinct selling prices, and the most crowded of them is Rs. 1,999 — printed on thirteen listings from seven brands whose sandals sell for anything between Rs. 280 and Rs. 1,579. AJIO publishes no ratings at all here, so the price is the only evidence on the page, and it is worth reading carefully.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on September 14, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: ignore the badge and read the price. Thirteen listings here share one Rs. 1,999 list price and sell across a 5.6x range, so the percentage on the tile is telling you which brand you are looking at, not what the sandal is worth. Second: learn the two camps. RED TAPE, aadi and the "Doctor" labels badge at 70 to 86 percent on four-figure MRPs; Lifestyle's own Ginger and MAX badge at 11 to 21 percent on MRPs of Rs. 399 to Rs. 999. The second camp's list prices are closer to what these things actually cost. Third: check whether the shelf is listing your pair more than once — the Puma Leadcat 2.0 appears three times here at Rs. 1,175, Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 1,374, and a U.S. Polo Assn. slipper twice at Rs. 968 and Rs. 990. Fourth: accept that there is no review evidence on this shelf at all, and buy accordingly — our Myntra sliders and flip-flops read covers the same category at a site that does publish rating counts.

One hundred and three listings on this shelf carry twenty-eight distinct MRPs and eighty-four distinct selling prices. That ratio is the whole story. List prices here are round numbers drawn from a short menu — Rs. 1,999, Rs. 499, Rs. 399, Rs. 2,499, Rs. 2,199 — while selling prices are set individually underneath them. A badge on this shelf is therefore arithmetic between a chosen number and a real one, and it describes the brand's list-price policy rather than the sandal.
Rs. 1,999 is the MRP on thirteen listings from seven different brands — aadi, RED TAPE, Doctor Health Super Soft, Doctor Extra Soft, BERSACHE, Puma and adidas. Under that one identical list price the selling prices run from Rs. 280 to Rs. 1,579, a 5.6x spread, and the badges from 21 percent to 86 percent. Seven of the thirteen open this page, in price order, so the effect is visible in one scroll.
Because the houses are consistent and the products are not. RED TAPE: fifteen listings, median badge 82 percent, MRPs up to Rs. 4,599. Ginger by Lifestyle: thirteen listings, median 16 percent. MAX: seven at 17. U.S. Polo Assn.: nine at 57. YOUSTA: nine at 40, every one of them exactly 40 or 50. Doctor Health Super Soft: seven at 70. None of those numbers moves with the individual sandal; each is a policy applied across a range.
Not one of the 103 listings in this read published a star average or a rating count. That is AJIO's own presentation and not a gap in our reading — the same scraper pulls ratings and counts from Myntra and Tata CLiQ without trouble. It means this page carries no rating pills at all and that nothing here can tell you whether a sandal held up. Every card below is a price observation, and on a shelf with no reviews the price is all the evidence there is.
This page prices listings. It does not test sole thickness, grip on a wet floor, arch support, strap durability or how any of these survive a monsoon. EVA, PU, rubber and Croslite are the materials named in the sellers' own titles and we did not verify them. Where a brand sells several near-identical pairs at different prices we say so rather than picking one and calling it best.
Because the list price on this shelf is picked from a short menu of round numbers. Across 103 listings we found only 28 distinct MRPs against 84 distinct selling prices. Rs. 1,999 alone appears on thirteen listings from seven brands — aadi, RED TAPE, Doctor Health Super Soft, Doctor Extra Soft, BERSACHE, Puma and adidas — and the sandals beneath it sell from Rs. 280 to Rs. 1,579. Rs. 499 appears on nine, Rs. 399 on nine, Rs. 2,499 on eight. The practical consequence is that the badge percentage compares a real price to a chosen one.
The median selling price across this read was Rs. 500, with the shelf running Rs. 112 to Rs. 1,782. Under Rs. 350 buys a house-label EVA pair from Ginger by Lifestyle or MAX, or a YOUSTA flip-flop from Rs. 112. Around Rs. 400 to Rs. 700 is where RED TAPE, the 'Doctor' comfort labels and Cantabil sit. Rs. 670 to Rs. 990 buys U.S. Polo Assn., WROGN or Carlton London, and above Rs. 1,100 you are into Puma, adidas and Crocs. There are no ratings on this shelf to help you choose within a price band.
Not on any of the 103 flip-flop, slide and slipper listings we read on 14 September 2026. Not one carried a star average, and not one carried a rating count. This is AJIO's own presentation rather than a limitation of our reading — the same tooling pulls ratings and counts from Myntra and Tata CLiQ without difficulty, and a Myntra read the same week returned thousands of ratings per listing. It means a buyer on this shelf has the price, the title and the photograph, and nothing else.
The MRP is real in the sense that AJIO displays it; whether it represents money saved is a different question and this page does not treat it as one. RED TAPE prints list prices up to Rs. 4,599 above sandals selling at Rs. 689 and Rs. 781, and every one of its fifteen listings here badges between 80 and 85 percent — a band that narrow is a pricing policy, not a sale. The same shelf has house labels badging at 11 to 21 percent on sandals that cost almost the same money. Compare selling prices across brands and ignore the percentages.
Marketplaces list one product more than once, and the prices do not always agree. In this read the Puma Leadcat 2.0 appeared at Rs. 1,175, Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 1,374, all three against the same Rs. 2,499 MRP, giving badges of 53, 48 and 45 percent. A U.S. Polo Assn. Angus slipper appeared at Rs. 968 and Rs. 990, and three YOUSTA tiles at exactly Rs. 168 each. We do not speculate about why listings of one product differ; the habit that protects you is to search the product name and read past the first result.
