I never thought that Netflix’s customer support will be of great use!
I purchased one-screen membership in May 2019. It has been 4 months now, and the account was running smooth. I watched my favourite series and now following some new series. I was happy with the content and quality.
From last week, I got problems in logging in to my Netflix account. I received an email from Netflix support that my account had been logged in in Meerut. However, a few minutes later, I received another email regarding the password change.
I tried changing the password but the request failed in every attempt. After 15 minutes when I tried again, my account was locked and I couldn’t access it. I remember not sharing account details with anybody and I had purchased just one-screen.
I contacted their customer support and briefed them about the account hack. The executive on the call asked for the email ID, transactions and the receipt. I provided the same to them at the moment. After verifying the details, the executive told me that somebody has used BOTS to hack my account.
They deleted that account from their database and created a new account with a different ID for me. As the payment was already done for a year, she adjusted the sum. Glad that no other account was affected because of this unethical hacking.
I must say they have an amazing customer support!
