“Alternate product delivered”
I ordered a pair of slippers from Louis Philippe a few days ago. It took around a week to get the order delivered. As I opened the package, it was some other slipper. I ordered a black one that costs more than this one that is delivered. This is a brown colored one, but is of the right size.
As I contacted them, I was angry at their response. They asked if the slipper was of the right size for me; and when I said it was, they plainly asked if I could keep it. I was surprised at this because nowhere have I ever encountered someone asking such a stupidity. I said a plain no, and returned it and took my refund.
“Why do you deliver damaged items?”
I ordered a jacket from Louis Philippe on September 10 and the delivery was made on 15 September. I was eagerly waiting for the delivery because; on the one hand it was my first purchase with Louis Philippe, and on the other, I had to shift to a new house and was waiting for my package to arrive as soon as possible. It so happened that I had to shift the house a few hours after I received the package, and in the hurry I did not bother to open it and look.
It was 2 days later that I opened the package and when I opened it, I was angry and sad at the same time. The left hand was a bit torn. I contacted Louis Philippe and asked them to replace it. I don’t know how people can be so careless enough to pack a torn dress and deliver.
