  So Generous Of You Zomato

  I’m ordering a lot of the meal from online sources of meal delivery services. I’m currently living with my roommate, in a 2BHK of Lajpat Nagar. We travel a lot for the office’s internship and get back quite late according to the normal timings. Zomato has helped us in having super delicious meals right at our doors.

  
  

  We both usually prepare breakfast and take something with us as lunch, sometimes not even having lunch. So we have to buy something from the office’s canteen, which is expensive, and some of them not even worth their price. We return back from the office all exhausted, and for sure - starving. Although, Gaurav (my roommate) is really generous and kind. He always prepares the meal whenever we couldn’t afford to go out and have some good meals there. Applause to his great cooking skills, I always get to enjoy the delicious meals prepared by him. I help him out by lending my hands in some small stuff.

  
  

  It was a few days back when he was really sick and was suffering from serious fever and headache that he couldn’t stand up from bed the whole day. Somehow I take the leave from office. I was allowed a half-day leave due to the fact they knew Gaurav too and was familiar with our daily life. I returned back and checked his temperature. It was still in 100s.

  
  

  I was worried whether he’ll be fine in time or not. Most of all, I was more worried about both of our dinner. I couldn’t think of anything better to prepare for both of us while keeping in mind his condition. So I decided to make Dal Tadka for both of us. I started preparing for it but ending up messing it. I didn’t really know what to do, so I remembered the time when we were used to going out with each other to eat some light stuff for dinner like Dal Tadka in dizziness as it’s a whole grain meal.

  
  

  I opened the Zomato app and scrolled out the perfect fit for us at the moment. I add in the cart, a full-plate Dal Tadka, along with some warm bowl of Jeera Rice for the quantity of 2. I told Zomato Delivery Executive person to be early, and tell them to prepare it early as I wanted Gaurav to have some meal and take medicines. The executive was really generous, and we were happy to hear his humble response towards us. He reached within 20 mins of time. Even though the expected time was 30 mins. I was really thankful to the guy. He was really supportive. Thanks for the service Zomato. Keep on it.

  EXTRA CHEESE - EXTRA YUMMM….

  My friends and I are at some Recce location and we were starving really badly. It’s been 2 hours and there is no one that I have seen doing or arranging something about lunch or evening snack.

  
  

  We have to be here almost all day, we will be leaving at 6:30 from here. It’s really off that no one has here considered the fact about providing some kind of food to us. We are their guests, they are supposed to be. At least as a gesture.

  
  

  Nevertheless, not being dependent on anyone, we all decided to check out some Pizza’s delivery that we didn’t check out once when we were up to it but we left the Pizza in cart. Ordered the same Pizza from the cart, checked out the payment and finished eating all of them.

  Drool- worthy Food Delivered!

  What could I have asked for in one thali!

  
  

  While looking for pocket-friendly food options, I opened Swiggy pop and found this amazing thali with 4 chapatis, dal, bharwa aloo, shahi paneer, salad and plain rice worth Rs.90/- 

  
  

  After I found it, I did not look for any more options and just ordered it instantly. The order was placed around 8:30 PM and the thali was delivered at 9:15 PM. When delivered, thali was in good condition. I did not find any stains or oil marks on the package. Thali was nicely packed in a sectioned plate and the spoons and tissues were also there in the package. 

  
  

  As far as the quality of the food is concerned, I totally loved it!

  All the things were worth having. Though dal was a bit salty for my taste buds but wasn’t that bad.

  
  

  Since I ordered from Swiggy POP, I was exempted from paying the delivery charges. I would surely recommend everybody to try POP at least once!

  30 minutes policy!

  The most attractive thing to order from Dominos is the 30 minutes guaranteed delivery which attracts the customer more! If the order is not delivered within the given time, then you get Rs. 300 off on the order. 

  
  

  I ordered a Large Mexican Green Wave Pizza worth Rs. 385. The order was placed and I had to pay cash on delivery. The order was expected to arrive within 30 minutes. My order was eligible for the 30 minutes guaranteed delivery.

  
  

  It was a busy day and I had lost hope that it will arrive on time! I checked the updates on the app where it displayed the estimated time. The driver was running late because of the traffic on the roads. He couldn't arrive on time! 

  
  

  The order was placed at 1 PM and was expected to arrive by 1:30 PM. it was almost 1:27 PM and he was nowhere to be seen near my house. The delivery boy arrived after 1:30 PM. Upon asking the payable amount, he told me that I have to pay Rs. 100. The billed amount was Rs. 400 including taxes and after deducting Rs. 300, I had to pay on Rs. 100. 

  
  

  
  

  I was on cloud 9 because I save a lot on this order! I paid the amount to the delivery boy and enjoyed my pizza!

  Amount Deducted but no Product Delivered

  This is extremely unfair on part of 1mg.

  
  

  On the date of 9th Jan 2021, I placed an order of Dabur Chyawanprash 1Kg (Get Dabur Honey 50g Free) which was from Dabur India Limited & already had a 4.4-star rating.

  
  

  I was expecting the product to be delivered to me on 12th Jan 2021 but due to some reasons, I was not available to take the order & even instructed the 1mg store customer care that my order would be taken up by my neighbors.
